وَبَيْنَهُۥٓ

and between it (evil)

أَمَدًۢا

(was) a distance

بَعِيدًۭا ۗ

great

baʿīdan

وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ

And warns you

wayuḥadhirukumu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

نَفْسَهُۥ ۗ

(against) Himself

nafsahu

وَٱللَّهُ

and Allah

wal-lahu

رَءُوفٌۢ

(is) Most Kind

raūfun

بِٱلْعِبَادِ

to (His) [the] slaves

bil-ʿibādi

٣٠

El día que cada ser vea el registro de todo bien y de todo mal que haya producido, deseará que se interponga una gran distancia entre sí y ese momento. Dios os exhorta a que Le temáis a Él. Dios es Compasivo con Sus siervos.

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

وَيَغْفِرْ

and He will forgive

wayaghfir

لَكُمْ

for you

lakum

ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ

your sins

dhunūbakum

وَٱللَّهُ

And Allah

wal-lahu

غَفُورٌۭ

(is) Oft-Forgiving

ghafūrun

رَّحِيمٌۭ

Most Merciful

raḥīmun

Di: “Si verdaderamente amáis a Dios, ¡seguidme!, que Dios os amará y perdonará vuestros pecados”. Dios es Absolvedor, Misericordioso.

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

the worlds

l-ʿālamīna

٣٣

Dios escogió a Adán, a Noé, a la familia de Abraham y a la de ‘Imrán de entre todos los seres.

(are) the All-Hearing

ٱلْعَلِيمُ

the All-Knowing

l-ʿalīmu

Cuando la esposa de ‘Imrán dijo: “¡Señor mío! He realizado el voto de entregar a Tu exclusivo servicio lo que hay en mi vientre. ¡Acéptalo de mí! Tú todo lo oyes, todo lo sabes”.

فَلَمَّا

Then when

أُنثَىٰ

a female

وَٱللَّهُ

And Allah

wal-lahu

أَعْلَمُ

knows better

aʿlamu

بِمَا

[of] what

bimā

وَضَعَتْ

she delivered

waḍaʿat

وَلَيْسَ

and is not

walaysa

ٱلذَّكَرُ

the male

l-dhakaru

كَٱلْأُنثَىٰ ۖ

like the female

kal-unthā

وَإِنِّى

And that I

wa-innī

سَمَّيْتُهَا

[I] (have) named her

sammaytuhā

مَرْيَمَ

Maryam

maryama

وَإِنِّىٓ

and that I

wa-innī

أُعِيذُهَا

[I] seek refuge for her

uʿīdhuhā

بِكَ

in You

bika

وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا

and her offspring

wadhurriyyatahā

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ

the Shaitaan

l-shayṭāni

ٱلرَّجِيمِ

the rejected

l-rajīmi

٣٦

Y cuando dio a luz dijo: “¡Señor mío! He tenido una hija”, y Dios bien sabía lo que había concebido. “No puede servirte una mujer [en el templo] como lo habría hecho un varón. La he llamado María, y Te imploro que la protejas a ella y a su descendencia del maldito demonio”.

So accepted her

and put her in (the) care

زَكَرِيَّا ۖ

(of) Zakariya

كُلَّمَا

Whenever

kullamā

دَخَلَ

entered

dakhala

عَلَيْهَا

upon her

ʿalayhā

زَكَرِيَّا

Zakariya

zakariyyā

ٱلْمِحْرَابَ

[the] prayer chamber

l-miḥ'rāba

وَجَدَ

he found

wajada

عِندَهَا

with her

ʿindahā

رِزْقًۭا ۖ

provision

riz'qan

قَالَ

He said

qāla

يَـٰمَرْيَمُ

O Maryam

yāmaryamu

أَنَّىٰ

From where

annā

لَكِ

for you

laki

هَـٰذَا ۖ

(is) this

hādhā

قَالَتْ

She said

qālat

هُوَ

This

huwa

مِنْ

(is)

min

عِندِ

from

ʿindi

ٱللَّهِ ۖ

Allah

l-lahi

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

يَرْزُقُ

gives provision

yarzuqu

مَن

(to) whom

man

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

بِغَيْرِ

without

bighayri

حِسَابٍ

measure

ḥisābin

٣٧

El Señor la aceptó complacido, e hizo que se educara correctamente y la confió a Zacarías. Cada vez que Zacarías ingresaba al templo la encontraba provista de alimentos, y le preguntaba: “¡María! ¿De dónde has obtenido eso?” Ella respondía: “Proviene de Dios, porque Dios sustenta sin medida a quien quiere”.
