ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ

رَيْبَ

doubt

فِيهِ

about it

مِن

رَّبِّ

(the) Lord

rabbi

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

(of) the worlds

l-ʿālamīna

Este libro sin duda es una revelación del Señor del Universo.

ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ ۚ

He invented it

Nay

هُوَ

huwa

ٱلْحَقُّ

(is) the truth

l-ḥaqu

مِن

from

min

رَّبِّكَ

your Lord

rabbika

لِتُنذِرَ

that you may warn

litundhira

قَوْمًۭا

a people

qawman

مَّآ

not

mā

أَتَىٰهُم

has come to them

atāhum

مِّن

any

min

نَّذِيرٍۢ

warner

nadhīrin

مِّن

before you

min

قَبْلِكَ

before you

qablika

لَعَلَّهُمْ

so that they may

laʿallahum

يَهْتَدُونَ

be guided

yahtadūna

٣

Sin embargo, dicen [los que rechazan el Mensaje]: “Él lo ha inventado”. Pero el Corán es la verdad que procede de tu Señor, para que adviertas a un pueblo al que no se le ha presentado advertidor alguno antes de ti, y así se encaminen.

Allah

(is) the One Who

خَلَقَ

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

and the earth

wal-arḍa

وَمَا

and whatever

wamā

بَيْنَهُمَا

(is) between them

baynahumā

فِى

in

fī

سِتَّةِ

six

sittati

أَيَّامٍۢ

periods

ayyāmin

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

ٱسْتَوَىٰ

established Himself

is'tawā

عَلَى

on

ʿalā

ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ

the Throne

l-ʿarshi

مَا

Not

mā

لَكُم

for you

lakum

مِّن

besides Him

min

دُونِهِۦ

besides Him

dūnihi

مِن

any

min

وَلِىٍّۢ

protector

waliyyin

وَلَا

and not

walā

شَفِيعٍ ۚ

any intercessor

shafīʿin

أَفَلَا

Then will not

afalā

تَتَذَكَّرُونَ

you take heed

tatadhakkarūna

٤

Dios es Quien creó los cielos, la tierra y todo lo que existe entre ambos en seis eras, luego se estableció sobre el Trono. No tenéis fuera de Él protector ni intercesor alguno. ¿Acaso no vais a recapacitar?

it will ascend

to Him

فِى

a Day

yawmin

كَانَ

(the) measure of which is

kāna

مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ

(the) measure of which is

miq'dāruhu

أَلْفَ

a thousand

alfa

سَنَةٍۢ

years

sanatin

مِّمَّا

of what

mimmā

تَعُدُّونَ

you count

taʿuddūna

٥

[Dios] decreta todos los asuntos desde el cielo a la Tierra, que luego ascienden a Él en un día que equivale a mil años de los que vosotros contáis.

That

dhālika

عَـٰلِمُ

(is the) Knower

ʿālimu

ٱلْغَيْبِ

(of) the hidden

l-ghaybi

وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ

and the witnessed

wal-shahādati

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu

ٱلرَّحِيمُ

the Most Merciful

l-raḥīmu

٦

Él es Quien conoce lo oculto y lo manifiesto. Él es el Poderoso, el Misericordioso,

خَلْقَ

(the) creation

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ

(of) man

مِن

طِينٍۢ

clay

quien perfeccionó todo lo que ha creado, y comenzó la creación del ser humano del barro.

Then

thumma

جَعَلَ

He made

jaʿala

نَسْلَهُۥ

his progeny

سُلَـٰلَةٍۢ

an extract

مِّن

water

مَّهِينٍۢ

despised

mahīnin

Luego hizo que su descendencia surgiera de una gota de esperma insignificante.

Then

سَوَّىٰهُ

He fashioned him

sawwāhu

وَنَفَخَ

and breathed

wanafakha

فِيهِ

into him

fīhi

مِن

from

رُّوحِهِۦ ۖ

His spirit

rūḥihi

وَجَعَلَ

and made

wajaʿala

لَكُمُ

for you

lakumu

ٱلسَّمْعَ

the hearing

l-samʿa

وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ

and the sight

wal-abṣāra

وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۚ

and feelings

wal-afidata

قَلِيلًۭا

little

qalīlan

مَّا

[what]

mā

تَشْكُرُونَ

thanks you give

tashkurūna

٩

Luego lo forma y le insufla el espíritu. Él os ha dotado de oído, vista e intelecto, pero poco es lo que Le agradecéis.

وَقَالُوٓا۟

And they say

waqālū

أَءِذَا

Is (it) when

a-idhā

ضَلَلْنَا

we are lost

ḍalalnā

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

أَءِنَّا

will we

a-innā

لَفِى

certainly be in

lafī

خَلْقٍۢ

a creation

khalqin

جَدِيدٍۭ ۚ

new

jadīdin

بَلْ

Nay

bal

هُم

they

hum

بِلِقَآءِ

in (the) meeting

biliqāi

رَبِّهِمْ

(of) their Lord

rabbihim

كَـٰفِرُونَ

(are) disbelievers

kāfirūna

١٠

Dicen [quienes niegan la Resurrección]: “¿Acaso después que nos hayamos convertido en polvo, podremos ser creados nuevamente?” Ellos no creen que vayan a comparecer ante su Señor.

۞ قُلْ

Say

qul

يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم

Will take your soul

yatawaffākum

مَّلَكُ

(the) Angel

malaku

ٱلْمَوْتِ

(of) the death

l-mawti

ٱلَّذِى

the one who

alladhī

وُكِّلَ

has been put in charge

wukkila

بِكُمْ

of you

bikum

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

إِلَىٰ

to

ilā

رَبِّكُمْ

your Lord

rabbikum

تُرْجَعُونَ

you will be returned

tur'jaʿūna

١١

Diles: “Tomará vuestras almas el ángel de la muerte, que fue encargado para ello, y luego compareceréis ante vuestro Señor”.

وَلَوْ

And if

walaw

تَرَىٰٓ

you (could) see

tarā

إِذِ

when

idhi

ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

the criminals

l-muj'rimūna

نَاكِسُوا۟

(will) hang

nākisū

رُءُوسِهِمْ

their heads

ruūsihim

عِندَ

before

ʿinda

رَبِّهِمْ

their Lord

rabbihim

رَبَّنَآ

Our Lord

rabbanā

أَبْصَرْنَا

we have seen

abṣarnā

وَسَمِعْنَا

and we have heard

wasamiʿ'nā

فَٱرْجِعْنَا

so return us

fa-ir'jiʿ'nā

نَعْمَلْ

we will do

naʿmal

صَـٰلِحًا

righteous (deeds)

ṣāliḥan

إِنَّا

Indeed, we

innā

مُوقِنُونَ

(are now) certain

mūqinūna

١٢

Y verás [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] cuando los pecadores inclinen sus cabezas ante su Señor y digan: “¡Señor nuestro! Ahora hemos oído y visto [cuál es la verdad]. Permítenos retornar a la vida mundanal para que obremos rectamente; ahora estamos convencidos”.

وَلَوْ

And if

walaw

شِئْنَا

We (had) willed

shi'nā

لَـَٔاتَيْنَا

surely We (would) have given

laātaynā

كُلَّ

every

kulla

نَفْسٍ

soul

nafsin

هُدَىٰهَا

its guidance

hudāhā

وَلَـٰكِنْ

but

walākin

حَقَّ

(is) true

ḥaqqa

ٱلْقَوْلُ

the Word

l-qawlu

مِنِّى

from Me

minnī

لَأَمْلَأَنَّ

that I will surely fill

la-amla-anna

جَهَنَّمَ

Hell

jahannama

مِنَ

with

mina

ٱلْجِنَّةِ

the jinn

l-jinati

وَٱلنَّاسِ

and the men

wal-nāsi

أَجْمَعِينَ

together

ajmaʿīna

١٣

Si hubiera querido habría impuesto a todas las personas la guía. Pero se ha de cumplir Mi designio: “He de llenar el Infierno de yinn y de seres humanos [que rechazaron el Mensaje].

فَذُوقُوا۟

So taste

fadhūqū

بِمَا

because

bimā

نَسِيتُمْ

you forgot

nasītum

لِقَآءَ

(the) meeting

liqāa

يَوْمِكُمْ

(of) this Day of yours

yawmikum

هَـٰذَآ

(of) this Day of yours

hādhā

إِنَّا

Indeed, We

innā

نَسِينَـٰكُمْ ۖ

have forgotten you

nasīnākum

وَذُوقُوا۟

And taste

wadhūqū

عَذَابَ

(the) punishment

ʿadhāba

ٱلْخُلْدِ

(of) eternity

l-khul'di

بِمَا

for what

bimā

كُنتُمْ

you used (to)

kuntum

تَعْمَلُونَ

do

taʿmalūna

١٤

Sufrid [el castigo] por haber relegado vuestro encuentro de este día, Yo también os relegaré. Sufrid el castigo eterno por lo que habéis cometido”.

إِنَّمَا

Only

innamā

يُؤْمِنُ

believe

yu'minu

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

in Our Verses

biāyātinā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

إِذَا

when

idhā

ذُكِّرُوا۟

they are reminded

dhukkirū

بِهَا

of them

bihā

خَرُّوا۟

fall down

kharrū

سُجَّدًۭا

prostrating

sujjadan

وَسَبَّحُوا۟

and glorify

wasabbaḥū

بِحَمْدِ

(the) praises

biḥamdi

رَبِّهِمْ

(of) their Lord

rabbihim

وَهُمْ

and they

wahum

لَا

are not arrogant

lā

يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩

are not arrogant

yastakbirūna

١٥

Solo creen en Mis signos quienes se prosternan cuando se les recitan [mis versículos], glorifican a su Señor y no se comportan con soberbia,

تَتَجَافَىٰ

Forsake

tatajāfā

جُنُوبُهُمْ

their sides

junūbuhum

عَنِ

from

ʿani

ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ

(their) beds

l-maḍājiʿi

يَدْعُونَ

they call

yadʿūna

رَبَّهُمْ

their Lord

rabbahum

خَوْفًۭا

(in) fear

khawfan

وَطَمَعًۭا

and hope

waṭamaʿan

وَمِمَّا

and out of what

wamimmā

رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ

We have provided them

razaqnāhum

يُنفِقُونَ

they spend

yunfiqūna

١٦

se levantan de sus lechos para invocar a su Señor con temor y anhelo [de Su respuesta], y dan en caridad parte de lo que les he provisto.

فَلَا

And not

falā

تَعْلَمُ

knows

taʿlamu

نَفْسٌۭ

a soul

nafsun

مَّآ

what

mā

أُخْفِىَ

is hidden

ukh'fiya

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مِّن

min

قُرَّةِ

(the) comfort

qurrati

أَعْيُنٍۢ

(for) the eyes

aʿyunin

جَزَآءًۢ

(as) a reward

jazāan

بِمَا

for what

bimā

كَانُوا۟

they used (to)

kānū

يَعْمَلُونَ

do

yaʿmalūna

١٧

Nadie sabe la alegría que les espera [a los creyentes] como recompensa por sus obras.

أَفَمَن

Then is one who

afaman

كَانَ

is

kāna

مُؤْمِنًۭا

a believer

mu'minan

كَمَن

like (him) who

kaman

كَانَ

kāna

فَاسِقًۭا ۚ

defiantly disobedient

fāsiqan

لَّا

Not

lā

يَسْتَوُۥنَ

they are equal

yastawūna

١٨

¿Acaso el creyente y el pecador son iguales? No lo son.

أَمَّا

As for

ammā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and do

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

فَلَهُمْ

then for them

falahum

جَنَّـٰتُ

(are) Gardens

jannātu

ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ

(of) Refuge

l-mawā

نُزُلًۢا

(as) hospitality

nuzulan

بِمَا

for what

bimā

كَانُوا۟

they used (to)

kānū

يَعْمَلُونَ

do

yaʿmalūna

١٩

Quienes crean y obren rectamente obtendrán los jardines del Paraíso como morada en recompensa por sus obras.

وَأَمَّا

But as for

wa-ammā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

فَسَقُوا۟

are defiantly disobedient

fasaqū

فَمَأْوَىٰهُمُ

then their refuge

famawāhumu

ٱلنَّارُ ۖ

(is) the Fire

l-nāru

كُلَّمَآ

Every time

kullamā

أَرَادُوٓا۟

they wish

arādū

أَن

to

an

يَخْرُجُوا۟

come out

yakhrujū

مِنْهَآ

from it

min'hā

أُعِيدُوا۟

they (will) be returned

uʿīdū

فِيهَا

in it

fīhā

وَقِيلَ

and it (will) be said

waqīla

لَهُمْ

to them

lahum

ذُوقُوا۟

Taste

dhūqū

عَذَابَ

(the) punishment

ʿadhāba

ٱلنَّارِ

(of) the Fire

l-nāri

ٱلَّذِى

which

alladhī

كُنتُم

you used (to)

kuntum

بِهِۦ

[in it]

bihi

تُكَذِّبُونَ

deny

tukadhibūna

٢٠

Pero quienes desobedezcan [a Dios] tendrán como morada el Fuego. Cada vez que quieran escapar de él, serán devueltos al castigo y se les dirá: “Sufrid el tormento del Fuego por haber desmentido [a los Profetas y su Mensaje]”.

وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم

And surely, We will let them taste

walanudhīqannahum

مِّنَ

of

mina

ٱلْعَذَابِ

the punishment

l-ʿadhābi

ٱلْأَدْنَىٰ

the nearer

l-adnā

دُونَ

before

dūna

ٱلْعَذَابِ

the punishment

l-ʿadhābi

ٱلْأَكْبَرِ

the greater

l-akbari

لَعَلَّهُمْ

so that they may

laʿallahum

يَرْجِعُونَ

return

yarjiʿūna

٢١

Pero les haré probar un castigo inmediato en esta vida antes de que los azote el castigo mayor [del Infierno], quizás así recapaciten.

وَمَنْ

And who

waman

أَظْلَمُ

(is) more unjust

aẓlamu

مِمَّن

than (he) who

mimman

ذُكِّرَ

is reminded

dhukkira

بِـَٔايَـٰتِ

of (the) Verses

biāyāti

رَبِّهِۦ

(of) his Lord

rabbihi

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

أَعْرَضَ

he turns away

aʿraḍa

عَنْهَآ ۚ

from them

ʿanhā

إِنَّا

Indeed, We

innā

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

the criminals

l-muj'rimīna

مُنتَقِمُونَ

(will) take retribution

muntaqimūna

٢٢

¿Acaso hay alguien más injusto que aquel que después de que se le recitan los versículos de Dios se aparta de ellos? He de retribuir a los pecadores con lo que merecen.

وَلَقَدْ

And certainly

walaqad

ءَاتَيْنَا

We gave

ātaynā

مُوسَى

Musa

mūsā

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

the Scripture

l-kitāba

فَلَا

so (do) not

falā

تَكُن

be

takun

فِى

in

fī

مِرْيَةٍۢ

doubt

mir'yatin

مِّن

about

min

لِّقَآئِهِۦ ۖ

receiving it

liqāihi

وَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ

And We made it

wajaʿalnāhu

هُدًۭى

a guide

hudan

لِّبَنِىٓ

for the Children of Israel

libanī

إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

for the Children of Israel

is'rāīla

٢٣

Le di a Moisés el Libro e hice de él guía para los Hijos de Israel; y no dudes [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] de que te encontrarás con él.

وَجَعَلْنَا

And We made

wajaʿalnā

مِنْهُمْ

from them

min'hum

أَئِمَّةًۭ

leaders

a-immatan

يَهْدُونَ

guiding

yahdūna

بِأَمْرِنَا

by Our Command

bi-amrinā

لَمَّا

when

lammā

صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ

they were patient

ṣabarū

وَكَانُوا۟

and they were

wakānū

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

of Our Verses

biāyātinā

يُوقِنُونَ

certain

yūqinūna

٢٤

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ

(of) Resurrection

l-qiyāmati

فِيمَا

in what

fīmā

كَانُوا۟

they used (to)

kānū

فِيهِ

[in it]

fīhi

يَخْتَلِفُونَ

differ

yakhtalifūna

٢٥

Tu Señor juzgará entre ellos el Día de la Resurrección acerca de lo que discrepaban.

Does it not

يَهْدِ

guide

لَهُمْ

[for] them

(that) how many

أَهْلَكْنَا

We have destroyed

مِن

before them

qablihim

مِّنَ

ٱلْقُرُونِ

the generations

l-qurūni

يَمْشُونَ

they walk about

yamshūna

فِى

in

fī

مَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۚ

their dwellings

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍ ۖ

surely, are Signs

laāyātin

أَفَلَا

Then do not

afalā

يَسْمَعُونَ

they hear

yasmaʿūna

٢٦

¿Acaso no se les ha evidenciado [a quienes no creen en este Mensaje] cuántas civilizaciones he destruido, siendo que ellos ahora pueden observar sus ruinas? En eso hay signos para que reflexionen.

Do not

they see

ٱلْمَآءَ

water

إِلَى

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the land

l-arḍi

ٱلْجُرُزِ

[the] barren

l-juruzi

فَنُخْرِجُ

then We bring forth

fanukh'riju

بِهِۦ

thereby

bihi

زَرْعًۭا

crops

zarʿan

تَأْكُلُ

eat

takulu

مِنْهُ

from it

min'hu

أَنْعَـٰمُهُمْ

their cattle

anʿāmuhum

وَأَنفُسُهُمْ ۖ

and they themselves

wa-anfusuhum

أَفَلَا

Then do not

afalā

يُبْصِرُونَ

they see

yub'ṣirūna

٢٧

¿Acaso no ven cómo envío la lluvia a la tierra árida, y con ella hago brotar los sembrados de los que comen ellos mismos y también sus rebaños? ¿Acaso no recapacitan?

وَيَقُولُونَ

And they say

When (will be)

هَـٰذَا

this

ٱلْفَتْحُ

decision

كُنتُمْ

صَـٰدِقِينَ

truthful

ṣādiqīna

Y preguntan [a los creyentes]: “¿Cuándo llegará el Día del Juicio, si es que decís la verdad?”

will benefit

كَفَرُوٓا۟

disbelieve

kafarū

إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ

their belief

īmānuhum

وَلَا

and not

walā

هُمْ

they

hum

يُنظَرُونَ

will be granted respite

yunẓarūna

Diles: “Cuando llegue el Día del Juicio ya no os servirá creer a los que rechazaron el Mensaje, ni tendréis otra oportunidad”.

فَأَعْرِضْ

So turn away

fa-aʿriḍ

عَنْهُمْ

from them

ʿanhum

وَٱنتَظِرْ

and wait

wa-intaẓir

إِنَّهُم

Indeed, they

innahum

مُّنتَظِرُونَ

(are) waiting

muntaẓirūna

٣٠

Apártate de ellos y aguarda [pacientemente el designio de Dios], y sabe que ellos seguirán acechándote.
