Dijo: “¡Señor mío! Mis huesos se han debilitado y mi cabeza se ha llenado de canas. Mis ruegos nunca han sido rechazados.

Dijo: “¡Señor mío! ¿Cómo he de tener un hijo si mi mujer es estéril y yo he llegado ya a la vejez extrema?”

Dijo [el ángel]: “Así será, pues tu Señor dice: ‘Eso es fácil para Mí, te he creado antes, cuando no existías’”.

Dijo [Zacarías]: “¡Señor mío! Concédeme una señal [de que mi esposa quedará embarazada]”. Dijo: “Tu señal será que no podrás hablar con la gente durante tres noches seguidas, a pesar de no tener impedimento”.

فَخَرَجَ

Then he came out

فَأَوْحَىٰٓ

and he signaled

fa-awḥā

إِلَيْهِمْ

to them

أَن

سَبِّحُوا۟

glorify (Allah)

sabbiḥū

بُكْرَةًۭ

(in) the morning

buk'ratan

وَعَشِيًّۭا

and (in) the evening

waʿashiyyan

١١

[Cumplida la señal, Zacarías] salió del oratorio hacia su gente [cuando su mujer quedó embarazada] y les indicó por señas que debían glorificar a Dios por la mañana y por la tarde.

O Yahya

خُذِ

Hold

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

the Scripture

بِقُوَّةٍۢ ۖ

وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ

And We gave him

waātaynāhu

ٱلْحُكْمَ

[the] wisdom

l-ḥuk'ma

صَبِيًّۭا

(when he was) a child

ṣabiyyan

١٢

[Cuando su hijo alcanzó la pubertad, le dije:] “¡Oh, Juan! Aférrate al Libro con firmeza”. Le concedí sabiduría desde su infancia,

And affection

مِّن

Ella dijo: “Me refugio en el Compasivo de ti, [apártate de aquí] si es que tienes temor de Dios”.

Ella dijo: “¿Cómo voy a tener un hijo si no me ha tocado ningún hombre ni he fornicado?”

وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ

and so that We will make him

walinajʿalahu

ءَايَةًۭ

a sign

āyatan

لِّلنَّاسِ

for the mankind

lilnnāsi

وَرَحْمَةًۭ

and a Mercy

waraḥmatan

مِّنَّا ۚ

from Us

minnā

وَكَانَ

And (it) is

wakāna

أَمْرًۭا

a matter

amran

مَّقْضِيًّۭا

decreed.'

maqḍiyyan

٢١

Le dijo [el ángel]: “Así será, pues tu Señor dice: ‘Eso es fácil para Mí. Le convertiré [a tu hijo] en un milagro y una misericordia para la humanidad. Es un asunto decidido’”.

۞ فَحَمَلَتْهُ

So she conceived him

فَٱنتَبَذَتْ

and she withdrew

Cuando se sintió embarazada, decidió retirarse a un lugar apartado.

O! I wish

هَـٰذَا

this

وَكُنتُ

and I was

wakuntu

نَسْيًۭا

(in) oblivion

nasyan

مَّنسِيًّۭا

forgotten

mansiyyan

Los dolores de parto la llevaron junto al tronco de una palmera. Exclamó: “Preferiría haber muerto antes que esto, y así hubiera sido olvidada completamente”.

So cried to her

a stream

٢٤

Entonces [el ángel] la llamó desde abajo [en el valle]: “No estés triste, pues tu Señor ha hecho fluir debajo de ti un arroyo.

وَهُزِّىٓ

And shake

wahuzzī

إِلَيْكِ

towards you

بِجِذْعِ

(the) trunk

ٱلنَّخْلَةِ

(of) the date-palm

it will drop

tusāqiṭ

عَلَيْكِ

upon you

رُطَبًۭا

fresh dates

ruṭaban

جَنِيًّۭا

ripe

janiyyan

[I] have vowed

لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

to the Most Gracious

lilrraḥmāni

صَوْمًۭا

a fast

ṣawman

فَلَنْ

so not

falan

أُكَلِّمَ

I will speak

ukallima

ٱلْيَوْمَ

today

l-yawma

إِنسِيًّۭا

(to any) human being

insiyyan

٢٦

Come, bebe y anímate. Pero cuando veas a alguien dile: ‘He realizado un voto de silencio al Compasivo y no hablaré hoy con ninguna persona’”.

O Maryam

an amazing thing

فَرِيًّۭا

an amazing thing

٢٧

Se presentó ante su pueblo llevándole en brazos [a Jesús]. Le dijeron: “¡Oh, María! Has hecho algo abominable.

Ella le señaló [al niño] y, entonces, le dijeron: “¿Cómo vamos a hablar con un niño que aún está en la cuna?”

Entonces [Jesús] habló: “Soy un siervo de Dios, Él me revelará el Libro y hará de mí un Profeta.

as long as I am

حَيًّۭا

alive

ḥayyan

Seré bendecido dondequiera que me encuentre y me ha encomendado hacer la oración, dar caridad mientras viva,

I will die

وَيَوْمَ

فَإِنَّمَا

يَقُولُ

He says

yaqūlu

لَهُۥ

to it

lahu

كُن

Be

kun

فَيَكُونُ

and it is

fayakūnu

٣٥

No es propio de Dios tener un hijo. ¡Glorificado sea! Cuando decide algo, dice: “¡Sé!”, y es.

And indeed

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

رَبِّى

(is) my Lord

وَرَبُّكُمْ

and your Lord

فَٱعْبُدُوهُ ۚ

fa-uʿ'budūhu

هَـٰذَا

This

hādhā

صِرَٰطٌۭ

(is) a path

ṣirāṭun

مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ

straight

mus'taqīmun

٣٦

[Dijo Jesús:] “Dios es mi Señor y el vuestro, ¡adoradle! Ese es el sendero recto”.

فَٱخْتَلَفَ

But differed

لِّلَّذِينَ

to those who

lilladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

disbelieve

مَّشْهَدِ

(the) witnessing

يَوْمٍ

(of) a Day

yawmin

عَظِيمٍ

great

ʿaẓīmin

٣٧

Pero discreparon las sectas sobre él. ¡Cuán desdichados serán ese día los que negaron la verdad cuando comparezcan [ante Dios] en un día terrible!

the wrongdoers

مُّبِينٍۢ

clear

Oirán y verán muy bien [su error] el día que comparezcan ante Mí. Pero los que cometen injusticias [atribuyendo un hijo a Dios] en esta vida están evidentemente extraviados.

And warn them

يُؤْمِنُونَ

believe

Adviérteles acerca del día que se lamentarán, cuando la sentencia sea cumplida. Pero ellos, a pesar de esto, siguen indiferentes y no creen.

Cuando [Abraham] dijo a su padre: “¡Oh, padre mío! ¿Por qué adoras a lo que no oye ni ve ni puede beneficiarte en absoluto?

فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ

أَهْدِكَ

I will guide you

صِرَٰطًۭا

(to) the path

ṣirāṭan

سَوِيًّۭا

even

sawiyyan

٤٣

¡Oh, padre mío! Se me ha revelado un conocimiento que tú no tienes. Sígueme, y te guiaré por el sendero recto.

لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

to the Most Gracious

lilrraḥmāni

عَصِيًّۭا

disobedient

ʿaṣiyyan

٤٤

¡Oh, padre mío! No adores al demonio, porque el demonio fue desobediente con el Compasivo.

O my father

إِنِّىٓ

Indeed, I

أَخَافُ

[I] fear

akhāfu

أَن

يَمَسَّكَ

will touch you

مِّنَ

from

mina

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

فَتَكُونَ

so you would be

fatakūna

لِلشَّيْطَـٰنِ

to the Shaitaan

lilshayṭāni

وَلِيًّۭا

a friend

waliyyan

٤٥

¡Oh, padre mío! Temo que te alcance un castigo del Compasivo y seas de los que acompañen al demonio [al Infierno]”.

Do you hate

Do you hate

ءَالِهَتِى

يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ ۖ

O Ibrahim

yāib'rāhīmu

لَئِن

Surely, if

لَّمْ

not

lam

تَنتَهِ

you desist

tantahi

لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ ۖ

surely, I will stone you

la-arjumannaka

وَٱهْجُرْنِى

so leave me

wa-uh'jur'nī

مَلِيًّۭا

(for) a prolonged time

maliyyan

٤٦

Dijo [su padre]: “¡Oh, Abraham! ¿Acaso rechazas a mis ídolos? Si no dejas de hacerlo te lapidaré. Aléjate de mí durante un largo tiempo”.

قَالَ

He said

سَلَـٰمٌ

Peace (be)

salāmun

عَلَيْكَ ۖ

on you

ʿalayka

سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ

I will ask forgiveness

sa-astaghfiru

رَبِّىٓ ۖ

(from) my Lord

rabbī

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

كَانَ

is

بِى

to me

bī

حَفِيًّۭا

Ever Gracious

ḥafiyyan

٤٧

Dijo [Abraham]: “¡Que la paz sea sobre ti! Pediré perdón por ti a mi Señor. Él ha sido generoso conmigo.

وَأَعْتَزِلُكُمْ

And I will leave you

wa-aʿtazilukum

وَمَا

and what

wamā

تَدْعُونَ

you invoke

tadʿūna

مِن

besides

دُونِ

وَأَدْعُوا۟

and I will invoke

wa-adʿū

رَبِّى

my Lord

rabbī

عَسَىٰٓ

May be

ʿasā

أَلَّآ

that not

allā

أَكُونَ

I will be

akūna

بِدُعَآءِ

in invocation

biduʿāi

رَبِّى

(to) my Lord

rabbī

شَقِيًّۭا

unblessed

shaqiyyan

٤٨

Me alejaré de vosotros y de cuanto invocáis en lugar de Dios e imploraré a mi Señor, y espero que mis ruegos a mi Señor no sean rechazados”.

فَلَمَّا

So when

falammā

ٱعْتَزَلَهُمْ

he left them

iʿ'tazalahum

وَمَا

and what

wamā

يَعْبُدُونَ

they worshipped

yaʿbudūna

مِن

besides Allah

dūni

ٱللَّهِ

besides Allah

l-lahi

وَهَبْنَا

[and] We bestowed

wahabnā

لَهُۥٓ

[to] him

lahu

إِسْحَـٰقَ

Isaac

is'ḥāqa

وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ

and Yaqub

wayaʿqūba

وَكُلًّۭا

and each (of them)

wakullan

جَعَلْنَا

We made

jaʿalnā

نَبِيًّۭا

a Prophet

nabiyyan

٤٩

Cuando se apartó de ellos y de cuanto adoraban en lugar de Dios, le agracié con [su hijo] Isaac y [luego su nieto] Jacob, y a ambos les designé profetas.

And We bestowed

a Messenger

نَّبِيًّۭا

Nárrales [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] la historia de Moisés mencionada en el Libro. Él fue elegido para ser Profeta y Mensajero.

And We called him

وَقَرَّبْنَـٰهُ

and brought him near

(for) conversation

And We bestowed

Nárrales [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] la historia de Ismael mencionada en el Libro. Siempre cumplió su palabra, fue Profeta y Mensajero.

And We raised him

وَمِمَّنْ

and of those

wamimman

حَمَلْنَا

We carried

ḥamalnā

مَعَ

نُوحٍۢ

Nuh

nūḥin

وَمِن

and of

wamin

ذُرِّيَّةِ

(the) offspring

dhurriyyati

إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

(of) Ibrahim

ib'rāhīma

وَإِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ

and Israel

wa-is'rāīla

وَمِمَّنْ

and of (those) whom

wamimman

هَدَيْنَا

We guided

hadaynā

وَٱجْتَبَيْنَآ ۚ

and We chose

wa-ij'tabaynā

إِذَا

When

idhā

تُتْلَىٰ

were recited

tut'lā

عَلَيْهِمْ

to them

ʿalayhim

ءَايَـٰتُ

(the) Verses

āyātu

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

(of) the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

خَرُّوا۟

they fell

kharrū

سُجَّدًۭا

prostrating

sujjadan

وَبُكِيًّۭا ۩

and weeping

wabukiyyan

٥٨

Ellos son a quienes Dios ha agraciado: Profetas descendientes de Adán, descendientes de los que transportamos [en el arca] con Noé, de los descendientes de Abraham y de Israel [Jacob], entre los que guié y elegí. Cuando se les recitaban los versículos del Compasivo, se prosternaban, llorando conmovidos.

Then succeeded

ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِ ۖ

the lusts

فَسَوْفَ

so soon

fasawfa

يَلْقَوْنَ

they will meet

yalqawna

غَيًّا

evil

ghayyan

٥٩

Pero vinieron después de ellos generaciones que descuidaron la oración y siguieron sus pasiones, por lo que tendrán una merecida condena.

Except

repented

وَءَامَنَ

and believed

وَعَمِلَ

Then those

fa-ulāika

يَدْخُلُونَ

will enter

yadkhulūna

ٱلْجَنَّةَ

Paradise

l-janata

وَلَا

and not

walā

يُظْلَمُونَ

they will be wronged

yuẓ'lamūna

شَيْـًۭٔا

(in) anything

shayan

٦٠

Salvo quienes se arrepintieron, creyeron y obraron rectamente. Estos ingresarán al Paraíso y no serán oprimidos en absoluto.

Gardens

(to) His slaves

بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۚ

Indeed, [it]

وَعْدُهُۥ

His promise

waʿduhu

مَأْتِيًّۭا

sure to come

matiyyan

٦١

[Entrarán] a los Jardines del Edén, prometidos por el Compasivo a Sus siervos [en las revelaciones] de lo oculto. Su promesa será cumplida.

No oirán frivolidades allí, sino saludos de paz, y recibirán su sustento por la mañana y por la tarde.

forgetful

nasiyyan

[Dice el ángel Gabriel:] “Los ángeles no descienden sino por orden de tu señor. Él conoce nuestro presente, pasado y futuro. Tu Señor nunca olvida.

رَّبُّ

Lord

rabbu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

وَمَا

and whatever

wamā

بَيْنَهُمَا

(is) between both of them

baynahumā

فَٱعْبُدْهُ

so worship Him

fa-uʿ'bud'hu

وَٱصْطَبِرْ

and be constant

wa-iṣ'ṭabir

لِعِبَـٰدَتِهِۦ ۚ

in His worship

liʿibādatihi

هَلْ

Do

hal

تَعْلَمُ

you know

taʿlamu

لَهُۥ

for Him

lahu

سَمِيًّۭا

any similarity

samiyyan

٦٥

Es el Señor de los cielos, de la Tierra y de cuanto hay entre ambos. Adóralo y persevera en Su adoración. ¿Conoces a alguien similar a Él?”

وَيَقُولُ

And says

wayaqūlu

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ

[the] man

l-insānu

أَءِذَا

What! When

a-idhā

مَا

What! When

mā

مِتُّ

I am dead

mittu

لَسَوْفَ

surely will

lasawfa

أُخْرَجُ

I be brought forth

ukh'raju

حَيًّا

alive

ḥayyan

٦٦

El ser humano dice: “¿Acaso después de morir voy a ser resucitado?”

Does not

يَذْكُرُ

remember

yadhkuru

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ

[the] man

l-insānu

أَنَّا

that We

annā

خَلَقْنَـٰهُ

We created him

before

قَبْلُ

before

qablu

وَلَمْ

while not

walam

يَكُ

he was

yaku

شَيْـًۭٔا

anything

shayan

٦٧

¿Acaso no recuerda el ser humano que le he creado por primera vez cuando no era nada?

فَوَرَبِّكَ

So by your Lord

fawarabbika

لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ

surely, We will gather them

lanaḥshurannahum

وَٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ

and the devils

wal-shayāṭīna

ثُمَّ

then

thumma

لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ

surely, We will bring them

lanuḥ'ḍirannahum

حَوْلَ

around

ḥawla

جَهَنَّمَ

Hell

jahannama

جِثِيًّۭا

bent (on) knees

jithiyyan

٦٨

¡Por tu Señor! Les congregaré junto con los demonios [que adoraban], y he de hacerles comparecer de rodillas alrededor del Infierno [para ser juzgados].

Then

thumma

لَنَنزِعَنَّ

surely, We will drag out

lananziʿanna

مِن

from

min

كُلِّ

every

kulli

شِيعَةٍ

sect

shīʿatin

أَيُّهُمْ

those of them

ayyuhum

أَشَدُّ

(who were) worst

ashaddu

عَلَى

against

ʿalā

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

عِتِيًّۭا

(in) rebellion

ʿitiyyan

٦٩

Luego, sacaré de cada comunidad a aquellos que hayan sido más insolentes con el Compasivo.

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

لَنَحْنُ

surely, We

lanaḥnu

أَعْلَمُ

know best

aʿlamu

بِٱلَّذِينَ

[of] those who

bi-alladhīna

هُمْ

[they]

hum

أَوْلَىٰ

(are) most worthy

awlā

بِهَا

therein

bihā

صِلِيًّۭا

(of) being burnt

ṣiliyyan

٧٠

Yo sé mejor que nadie quiénes son los que más merecen ser arrojados al Infierno.

وَإِن

And (there is) not

wa-in

مِّنكُمْ

(any) of you

minkum

إِلَّا

but

illā

وَارِدُهَا ۚ

(will be) passing over it

wāriduhā

كَانَ

(This) is

kāna

عَلَىٰ

upon

ʿalā

رَبِّكَ

your Lord

rabbika

حَتْمًۭا

an inevitability

ḥatman

مَّقْضِيًّۭا

decreed

maqḍiyyan

٧١

Todos vosotros lo contemplaréis [el Infierno], y esa es una determinación irrevocable de tu Señor.

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

نُنَجِّى

We will deliver

nunajjī

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ٱتَّقَوا۟

feared (Allah)

ittaqaw

وَّنَذَرُ

and We will leave

wanadharu

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

جِثِيًّۭا

bent (on) knees

jithiyyan

٧٢

Luego, salvaré a los piadosos y dejaré en él a los que hayan cometido la injusticia [de la idolatría] de rodillas.

وَإِذَا

And when

wa-idhā

تُتْلَىٰ

are recited

tut'lā

عَلَيْهِمْ

to them

ʿalayhim

ءَايَـٰتُنَا

Our Verses

āyātunā

بَيِّنَـٰتٍۢ

clear

bayyinātin

قَالَ

say

qāla

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

disbelieved

kafarū

لِلَّذِينَ

to those who

lilladhīna

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

believed

āmanū

أَىُّ

Which

ayyu

ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ

(of) the two groups

l-farīqayni

خَيْرٌۭ

(is) better

khayrun

مَّقَامًۭا

(in) position

maqāman

وَأَحْسَنُ

and best

wa-aḥsanu

نَدِيًّۭا

(in) assembly

nadiyyan

٧٣

Cuando se les recitan Mis claros versículos, los que se niegan a creer dicen con arrogancia a los creyentes: “¿Quién posee de nosotros moradas más placenteras y mejores lugares de encuentro?”

وَكَمْ

And how many

wakam

أَهْلَكْنَا

We destroyed

ahlaknā

قَبْلَهُم

before them

qablahum

مِّن

of

min

قَرْنٍ

a generation

qarnin

هُمْ

they

hum

أَحْسَنُ

(were) better

aḥsanu

أَثَـٰثًۭا

(in) possessions

athāthan

وَرِءْيًۭا

and appearance

wari'yan

٧٤

Pero, ¿a cuántas generaciones que les precedieron, de mayor riqueza y mejor aspecto, he destruido?

Say

qul

مَن

Whoever

man

كَانَ

is

kāna

فِى

in

fī

ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةِ

[the] error

l-ḍalālati

فَلْيَمْدُدْ

then surely will extend

falyamdud

لَهُ

for him

lahu

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmānu

مَدًّا ۚ

an extension

maddan

حَتَّىٰٓ

until

ḥattā

إِذَا

when

idhā

رَأَوْا۟

they see

ra-aw

مَا

what

mā

يُوعَدُونَ

they were promised

yūʿadūna

إِمَّا

either

immā

ٱلْعَذَابَ

the punishment

l-ʿadhāba

وَإِمَّا

or

wa-immā

ٱلسَّاعَةَ

the Hour

l-sāʿata

فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ

then they will know

fasayaʿlamūna

مَنْ

who

man

هُوَ

[he]

huwa

شَرٌّۭ

(is) worst

sharrun

مَّكَانًۭا

(in) position

makānan

وَأَضْعَفُ

and weaker

wa-aḍʿafu

جُندًۭا

(in) forces

jundan

٧٥

Diles: “A quienes se encuentren desviados, el Compasivo les dejará continuar en el desvío hasta que les acontezca lo que Dios ha deparado para ellos: su destrucción en esta vida o después de comparecer en el Día del Juicio. Entonces sabrán quiénes se encuentran en peor situación y quién tiene el ejército más débil”.

وَيَزِيدُ

And Allah increases

wayazīdu

ٱللَّهُ

And Allah increases

l-lahu

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ٱهْتَدَوْا۟

accept guidance

ih'tadaw

هُدًۭى ۗ

(in) guidance

hudan

وَٱلْبَـٰقِيَـٰتُ

And the everlasting

wal-bāqiyātu

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتُ

good deeds

l-ṣāliḥātu

خَيْرٌ

(are) better

khayrun

عِندَ

near

ʿinda

رَبِّكَ

your Lord

rabbika

ثَوَابًۭا

(for) reward

thawāban

وَخَيْرٌۭ

and better

wakhayrun

مَّرَدًّا

(for) return

maraddan

٧٦

Dios encaminará a quienes hayan seguido la guía. Las obras que a Dios Le complacen son las que realmente perduran y las que tienen una gran recompensa.

أَفَرَءَيْتَ

Then, have you seen

afara-ayta

ٱلَّذِى

he who

alladhī

كَفَرَ

disbelieved

kafara

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

in Our Verses

biāyātinā

وَقَالَ

and said

waqāla

لَأُوتَيَنَّ

Surely, I will be given

laūtayanna

مَالًۭا

wealth

mālan

وَوَلَدًا

and children

wawaladan

٧٧

¿Acaso observas a quien no cree en Mis signos y dice: “Me serán concedidos bienes materiales e hijos [cuando sea resucitado]”?

أَطَّلَعَ

Has he looked

aṭṭalaʿa

ٱلْغَيْبَ

(into) the unseen

l-ghayba

أَمِ

or

ami

ٱتَّخَذَ

has he taken

ittakhadha

عِندَ

from

ʿinda

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

عَهْدًۭا

a promise

ʿahdan

٧٨

¿Acaso tiene conocimiento de lo oculto o tiene un pacto con el Compasivo?

كَلَّا ۚ

Nay

kallā

سَنَكْتُبُ

We will record

sanaktubu

مَا

what

mā

يَقُولُ

he says

yaqūlu

وَنَمُدُّ

and We will extend

wanamuddu

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلْعَذَابِ

the punishment

l-ʿadhābi

مَدًّۭا

extensively

maddan

٧٩

¡Claro que no! Registraré lo que dice y le prolongaré [por ello] el castigo.

وَنَرِثُهُۥ

And We will inherit (from) him

wanarithuhu

مَا

what

mā

يَقُولُ

he says

yaqūlu

وَيَأْتِينَا

and he will come to Us

wayatīnā

فَرْدًۭا

alone

fardan

٨٠

Yo seré Quien herede sus bienes materiales e hijos y [el Día del Juicio] comparecerá completamente solo.

وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟

And they have taken

wa-ittakhadhū

مِن

besides Allah

min

دُونِ

besides Allah

dūni

ٱللَّهِ

besides Allah

l-lahi

ءَالِهَةًۭ

gods

ālihatan

لِّيَكُونُوا۟

that they may be

liyakūnū

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

عِزًّۭا

an honor

ʿizzan

٨١

[Los idólatras] han tomado a los ídolos como divinidades en lugar de Dios para que les dieran protección.

كَلَّا ۚ

Nay

kallā

سَيَكْفُرُونَ

they will deny

sayakfurūna

بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ

their worship (of them)

biʿibādatihim

وَيَكُونُونَ

and they will be

wayakūnūna

عَلَيْهِمْ

against them

ʿalayhim

ضِدًّا

opponents

ḍiddan

٨٢

¡Pero no! [Estos ídolos] negarán que hayan sido objeto de culto y se convertirán en sus adversarios.

أَلَمْ

Do not

alam

تَرَ

you see

tara

أَنَّآ

that We

annā

أَرْسَلْنَا

[We] have sent

arsalnā

ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ

the devils

l-shayāṭīna

عَلَى

upon

ʿalā

ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

the disbelievers

l-kāfirīna

تَؤُزُّهُمْ

inciting them

ta-uzzuhum

أَزًّۭا

(with) incitement

azzan

٨٣

¿Acaso no ves que he enviado demonios sobre los incrédulos para que les induzcan a cometer el mal?

فَلَا

So (do) not

falā

تَعْجَلْ

make haste

taʿjal

عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ

against them

ʿalayhim

إِنَّمَا

Only

innamā

نَعُدُّ

We count

naʿuddu

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

عَدًّۭا

a number

ʿaddan

٨٤

No esperes que el castigo les azote antes de tiempo, que ya tienen sus días contados.

(The) Day

yawma

نَحْشُرُ

We will gather

naḥshuru

ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

the righteous

l-mutaqīna

إِلَى

to

ilā

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

وَفْدًۭا

(as) a delegation

wafdan

٨٥

El día que congregue a las delegaciones de piadosos ante el Compasivo

وَنَسُوقُ

And We will drive

wanasūqu

ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ

the criminals

l-muj'rimīna

إِلَىٰ

to

ilā

جَهَنَّمَ

Hell

jahannama

وِرْدًۭا

thirsty

wir'dan

٨٦

y conduzca a los pecadores hacia el Infierno sedientos.

Not

lā

يَمْلِكُونَ

they will have the power

yamlikūna

ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ

(of) the intercession

l-shafāʿata

إِلَّا

except

illā

مَنِ

(he) who

mani

ٱتَّخَذَ

has taken

ittakhadha

عِندَ

from

ʿinda

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

عَهْدًۭا

a covenant

ʿahdan

٨٧

No tendrán quien interceda por ellos, salvo quienes hayan asumido el compromiso con el Compasivo [de creer que Él es la única divinidad con derecho a ser adorada].

وَقَالُوا۟

And they say

waqālū

ٱتَّخَذَ

Has taken

ittakhadha

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmānu

وَلَدًۭا

a son

waladan

Dicen: “El Compasivo ha tenido un hijo”.

لَّقَدْ

Verily

laqad

جِئْتُمْ

you have put forth

ji'tum

شَيْـًٔا

a thing

shayan

إِدًّۭا

atrocious

٨٩

Han proferido algo terrible;

تَكَادُ

Almost

takādu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ

the heavens

l-samāwātu

يَتَفَطَّرْنَ

get torn

yatafaṭṭarna

مِنْهُ

therefrom

min'hu

وَتَنشَقُّ

and splits asunder

watanshaqqu

ٱلْأَرْضُ

the earth

l-arḍu

وَتَخِرُّ

and collapse

watakhirru

ٱلْجِبَالُ

the mountain

l-jibālu

هَدًّا

(in) devastation

haddan

٩٠

los cielos han estado a punto de hendirse, la Tierra de abrirse y las montañas de caer derrumbadas,

دَعَوْا۟

they invoke

daʿaw

لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

to the Most Gracious

وَلَدًۭا

a son

And not

يَنۢبَغِى

is appropriate

yanbaghī

لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

for the Most Gracious

أَن

يَتَّخِذَ

He should take

وَلَدًا

a son

waladan

٩٢

No es propio [de la grandiosidad] del Compasivo tener un hijo.

Not

كُلُّ

all

مَن

who

man

فِى

(are) in

fī

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

إِلَّآ

but

illā

ءَاتِى

(will) come

ātī

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ

(to) the Most Gracious

l-raḥmāni

عَبْدًۭا

(as) a slave

ʿabdan

٩٣

Todos los que habitan en los cielos y en la Tierra se presentarán sumisos ante el Compasivo.

لَّقَدْ

Verily

laqad

أَحْصَىٰهُمْ

He has enumerated them

aḥṣāhum

وَعَدَّهُمْ

and counted them

waʿaddahum

عَدًّۭا

a counting

ʿaddan

٩٤

Los ha enumerado y contado perfectamente.

وَكُلُّهُمْ

And all of them

wakulluhum

ءَاتِيهِ

(will) come (to) Him

ātīhi

يَوْمَ

(on the) Day

yawma

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ

(of) the Resurrection

l-qiyāmati

فَرْدًا

alone

fardan

٩٥

Todos se presentarán solos ante Él en el Día del Juicio.

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believed

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and did

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

good deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

سَيَجْعَلُ

will bestow

sayajʿalu

لَهُمُ

for them

lahumu

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmānu

وُدًّۭا

affection

wuddan

٩٦

El Compasivo hará que, quienes hayan creído y obrado rectamente, sean amados [por la gente].

فَإِنَّمَا

So, only

fa-innamā

يَسَّرْنَـٰهُ

We (have) made it easy

yassarnāhu

بِلِسَانِكَ

in your tongue

bilisānika

لِتُبَشِّرَ

that you may give glad tidings

litubashira

بِهِ

with it

bihi

ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

(to) the righteous

l-mutaqīna

وَتُنذِرَ

and warn

watundhira

بِهِۦ

with it

bihi

قَوْمًۭا

a people

qawman

لُّدًّۭا

hostile

luddan

٩٧

Te he facilitado [el Corán] revelándotelo [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] en tu idioma para que albricies con él a los piadosos y adviertas a tus enemigos.

And how many

wakam

أَهْلَكْنَا

We (have) destroyed

ahlaknā

قَبْلَهُم

before them

qablahum

مِّن

قَرْنٍ

a generation

qarnin

هَلْ

Can

تُحِسُّ

you perceive

tuḥissu

مِنْهُم

of them

min'hum

مِّنْ

any

min

أَحَدٍ

one

aḥadin

أَوْ

or

aw

تَسْمَعُ

hear

tasmaʿu

لَهُمْ

from them

lahum

رِكْزًۢا

a sound

rik'zan

٩٨

A muchas generaciones que les precedieron las he destruido. ¿Acaso puedes ver a alguno de ellos u oír sus murmullos?
