وَقُرْءَانٍۢ

and Quran

waqur'ānin

مُّبِينٍۢ

clear

then soon

يَعْلَمُونَ

they will come to know

Ninguna nación puede adelantar ni retrasar su final.

ٱلذِّكْرُ

the Reminder

إِنَّكَ

indeed, you

لَمَجْنُونٌۭ

(are) surely mad

Y dicen: “¡Oh, tú [Muhámmad]! A quien se le ha descendido la revelación, eres un demente.

they would be

إِذًۭا

مُّنظَرِينَ

given respite

Pero cuando envío a los ángeles es con el castigo y, si los hubiera enviado [en respuesta a sus desafíos], ya no les quedaría tiempo.

(of) the former (people)

Envié antes de ti [otros Mensajeros] a los pueblos antiguos,

came to them

مِّن

رَّسُولٍ

Messenger

إِلَّا

يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

Así es como [la burla] se adueña del corazón de los pecadores.

No creerán en él a pesar del ejemplo de lo que les sucedió a los pueblos anteriores.

And (even) if

فَتَحْنَا

We opened

عَلَيْهِم

to them

ʿalayhim

بَابًۭا

a gate

مِّنَ

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the heaven

فَظَلُّوا۟

and they were to continue

faẓallū

فِيهِ

therein

fīhi

يَعْرُجُونَ

(to) ascend

yaʿrujūna

١٤

Y aunque les abriera una puerta en el cielo por la que pudieran ascender [y contemplar a los ángeles] no creerían.

لَقَالُوٓا۟

They would surely say

إِنَّمَا

Only

سُكِّرَتْ

have been dazzled

أَبْصَـٰرُنَا

our eyes

abṣārunā

بَلْ

Nay

نَحْنُ

we

naḥnu

قَوْمٌۭ

(are) a people

qawmun

مَّسْحُورُونَ

bewitched

masḥūrūna

١٥

Dirían: “Nuestros ojos ven visiones, nos han hechizado”.

وَلَقَدْ

And verily

walaqad

جَعَلْنَا

We have placed

jaʿalnā

فِى

in

fī

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the heavens

l-samāi

بُرُوجًۭا

constellations

burūjan

وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا

and We have beautified it

wazayyannāhā

لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ

for the observers

lilnnāẓirīna

١٦

He dispuesto constelaciones en el cielo, y las he embellecido para quienes las contemplan.

وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا

And We have protected it

waḥafiẓ'nāhā

مِن

from

min

كُلِّ

every

kulli

شَيْطَـٰنٍۢ

devil

shayṭānin

رَّجِيمٍ

accursed

rajīmin

١٧

He protegido al cielo de todo demonio maldito.

ٱسْتَرَقَ

steals

ٱلسَّمْعَ

the hearing

فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ

شِهَابٌۭ

a burning flame

مُّبِينٌۭ

clear

mubīnun

١٨

Si intenta escuchar, le arrojaré una bola de fuego visible.

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

And the earth

wal-arḍa

مَدَدْنَـٰهَا

We have spread it

madadnāhā

وَأَلْقَيْنَا

and [We] cast

wa-alqaynā

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

رَوَٰسِىَ

firm mountains

rawāsiya

وَأَنۢبَتْنَا

and [We] caused to grow

wa-anbatnā

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

مِن

of

min

كُلِّ

every

kulli

شَىْءٍۢ

thing

shayin

مَّوْزُونٍۢ

well-balanced

mawzūnin

١٩

He extendido la Tierra, he dispuesto en ella montañas firmes y he hecho crecer en ella de todo de forma equilibrada.

وَجَعَلْنَا

And We have made

wajaʿalnā

لَكُمْ

for you

lakum

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

مَعَـٰيِشَ

means of living

maʿāyisha

وَمَن

and whom

waman

لَّسْتُمْ

you are not

lastum

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

بِرَٰزِقِينَ

providers

birāziqīna

٢٠

He facilitado los medios para que podáis vivir en ella vosotros y el resto de las criaturas.

مِّن

(is) any

شَىْءٍ

thing

إِلَّا

عِندَنَا

with Us

ʿindanā

خَزَآئِنُهُۥ

(are) its treasures

وَمَا

wamā

نُنَزِّلُهُۥٓ

We send it down

nunazziluhu

إِلَّا

except

illā

بِقَدَرٍۢ

in a measure

biqadarin

مَّعْلُومٍۢ

known

maʿlūmin

٢١

En Mi poder están las reservas de su sustento y les proveo de él en la medida que he determinado.

وَأَرْسَلْنَا

And We have sent

wa-arsalnā

ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ

the winds

l-riyāḥa

لَوَٰقِحَ

fertilizing

lawāqiḥa

فَأَنزَلْنَا

and We sent down

fa-anzalnā

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the sky

l-samāi

مَآءًۭ

water

māan

فَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُمُوهُ

and We gave it to you to drink

fa-asqaynākumūhu

وَمَآ

And not

wamā

أَنتُمْ

you

antum

لَهُۥ

of it

lahu

بِخَـٰزِنِينَ

(are) retainers

bikhāzinīna

٢٢

He enviado los vientos fecundadores y hago descender del cielo agua con la que os doy de beber, y no sois vosotros los dueños de sus reservas.

وَإِنَّا

And indeed, We

wa-innā

لَنَحْنُ

surely [We]

lanaḥnu

نُحْىِۦ

We give life

nuḥ'yī

وَنُمِيتُ

and We cause death

wanumītu

وَنَحْنُ

and We

wanaḥnu

ٱلْوَٰرِثُونَ

(are) the Inheritors

l-wārithūna

٢٣

Yo doy la vida y doy la muerte, y Yo soy el heredero [a quien todo lo creado ha de retornar].

وَلَقَدْ

And verily

walaqad

عَلِمْنَا

We know

ʿalim'nā

ٱلْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ

the preceding ones

l-mus'taqdimīna

مِنكُمْ

among you

minkum

وَلَقَدْ

and verily

walaqad

عَلِمْنَا

We know

ʿalim'nā

ٱلْمُسْتَـْٔخِرِينَ

the later ones

l-mus'takhirīna

٢٤

Conozco a quienes os precedieron y también a quienes os sucederán.

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

رَبَّكَ

your Lord

rabbaka

هُوَ

He

huwa

يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ

will gather them

yaḥshuruhum

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

حَكِيمٌ

(is) All-Wise

ḥakīmun

عَلِيمٌۭ

All-Knowing

ʿalīmun

٢٥

Tu Señor les congregará. Él es Sabio, lo sabe todo.

And verily

walaqad

خَلَقْنَا

We created

khalaqnā

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ

humankind

صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ

مِّنْ

from

min

حَمَإٍۢ

black mud

ḥama-in

مَّسْنُونٍۢ

altered

masnūnin

٢٦

He creado al ser humano de arcilla, un barro maleable.

وَٱلْجَآنَّ

And the jinn

wal-jāna

خَلَقْنَـٰهُ

We created it

khalaqnāhu

مِن

before

قَبْلُ

مِن

نَّارِ

fire

scorching

٢٧

Y al yinn lo había creado ya antes de fuego.

وَإِذْ

And when

your Lord said

رَبُّكَ

your Lord said

لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ

to the Angels

lil'malāikati

إِنِّى

Indeed, I

خَـٰلِقٌۢ

(will) create

khāliqun

بَشَرًۭا

a human being

basharan

مِّن

(out) of

min

صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ

clay

ṣalṣālin

مِّنْ

from

min

حَمَإٍۢ

black mud

ḥama-in

مَّسْنُونٍۢ

altered

masnūnin

٢٨

[Recuerda] cuando tu Señor dijo a los ángeles: “Voy a crear un ser humano de arcilla, de barro maleable.

فَإِذَا

So, when

fa-idhā

سَوَّيْتُهُۥ

I have fashioned him

sawwaytuhu

وَنَفَخْتُ

and [I] breathed

wanafakhtu

فِيهِ

into him

مِن

رُّوحِى

My spirit

rūḥī

فَقَعُوا۟

then fall down

faqaʿū

لَهُۥ

to him

lahu

سَـٰجِدِينَ

prostrating

sājidīna

٢٩

Cuando lo haya completado e insuflado en él el espíritu que he creado para él, haced una reverencia [en honor a Mí] ante él”.

So prostrated

ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ

Dijo [Dios]: “¡Oh, Iblís! ¿Por qué no te cuentas entre quienes hacen la

لِّأَسْجُدَ

صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ

clay

ṣalṣālin

مِّنْ

from

min

حَمَإٍۢ

black mud

ḥama-in

مَّسْنُونٍۢ

altered

masnūnin

٣٣

Dijo: “No he de hacerla ante un ser humano [que es inferior a mí], al que has creado de arcilla, de barro maleable”.

He said

فَٱخْرُجْ

Then get out

fa-ukh'ruj

مِنْهَا

of it

min'hā

فَإِنَّكَ

for indeed, you

fa-innaka

رَجِيمٌۭ

(are) expelled

Dijo [Dios]: “Sal de aquí, pues te maldigo.

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

عَلَيْكَ

upon you

ʿalayka

ٱللَّعْنَةَ

(will be) the curse

l-laʿnata

إِلَىٰ

till

ilā

يَوْمِ

(the) Day

yawmi

ٱلدِّينِ

(of) [the] Judgment

l-dīni

٣٥

Serás maldito hasta el Día del Juicio”.

He said

رَبِّ

O my Lord

rabbi

فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ

Then give me respite

fa-anẓir'nī

إِلَىٰ

till

ilā

يَوْمِ

(the) Day

yawmi

يُبْعَثُونَ

they are raised

yub'ʿathūna

٣٦

Dijo: “¡Señor mío! Tolérame hasta el Día de la Resurrección”.

He said

فَإِنَّكَ

Then indeed you

fa-innaka

مِنَ

(are) of

mina

ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ

the ones given respite

٣٧

Dijo: “Te concedo la prórroga que me pides,

Till

ilā

يَوْمِ

the Day

yawmi

ٱلْوَقْتِ

(of) the time

ٱلْمَعْلُومِ

أَغْوَيْتَنِى

You misled me

لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ

surely, I will make (evil) fair-seeming

لَهُمْ

to them

lahum

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ

and I will mislead them

أَجْمَعِينَ

Dijo: “¡Señor mío! Por haber dejado que me extravíe, les seduciré y descarriaré a todos,

Dijo [Dios]: “A quien siga Mi camino recto le protegeré.

عَلَيْهِمْ

over them

إِلَّا

except

illā

مَنِ

those who

mani

ٱتَّبَعَكَ

follow you

ittabaʿaka

مِنَ

of

mina

ٱلْغَاوِينَ

the ones who go astray

l-ghāwīna

٤٢

No tendrás poder alguno sobre Mis siervos, salvo los que se extravíen

And indeed

جَهَنَّمَ

Hell

jahannama

لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ

(is) surely the promised place for them

أَجْمَعِينَ

El Infierno posee siete puertas y cada una está destinada para un grupo

the righteous

فِى

(will be) in

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

Gardens

jannātin

وَعُيُونٍ

and water springs

Mientras que los piadosos serán retribuidos con jardines y manantiales.

Enter it

بِسَلَـٰمٍ

in peace

ءَامِنِينَ

[Se les dirá:] Ingresad a ellos en paz, y estad seguros de que no se os

And We (will) remove

their breasts

(they will be) brothers

ikh'wānan

عَلَىٰ

ʿalā

سُرُرٍۢ

thrones

sururin

مُّتَقَـٰبِلِينَ

facing each other

mutaqābilīna

٤٧

Purificaremos sus corazones de todo rencor. Serán todos como hermanos y se sentarán unos enfrente de otros.

will touch them

will be removed

Allí no volverán a sufrir, y vivirán por toda la eternidad.

Anúnciales a Mis siervos [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] que soy el Absolvedor, el

My punishment

هُوَ

Indeed, we

مِنكُمْ

(are) of you

وَجِلُونَ

afraid

wajilūna

٥٢

Cuando se presentaron ante él, dijeron: “¡La paz sea contigo!” [Abraham y su esposa, después de haberles ofrecido comida y observar que no comían, dijeron]: “Nos infundís temor”.

They said

تَوْجَلْ

be afraid

إِنَّا

indeed, we

نُبَشِّرُكَ

[we] bring glad tidings to you

of a boy

bighulāmin

عَلِيمٍۢ

learned

ʿalīmin

٥٣

Le dijeron: “No temas, te anunciamos el nacimiento de un hijo sabio”.

أَبَشَّرْتُمُونِى

Do you give me glad tidings

abashartumūnī

عَلَىٰٓ

Do you give me glad tidings

ʿalā

أَن

مَّسَّنِىَ

has overtaken me

ٱلْكِبَرُ

old age

l-kibaru

فَبِمَ

Then about what

fabima

تُبَشِّرُونَ

you give glad tidings

tubashirūna

٥٤

Dijo: “¿Me dais ahora la albricia [de un hijo] siendo que me ha alcanzado la vejez?”

They said

بَشَّرْنَـٰكَ

We give you glad tidings

basharnāka

بِٱلْحَقِّ

in truth

bil-ḥaqi

فَلَا

so (do) not

falā

تَكُن

مِّنَ

mina

ٱلْقَـٰنِطِينَ

the despairing

l-qāniṭīna

٥٥

Dijeron: “Te albriciamos con la verdad. No seas de quienes han perdido la esperanza”.

يَقْنَطُ

despairs

yaqnaṭu

مِن

رَّحْمَةِ

(the) Mercy

raḥmati

رَبِّهِۦٓ

except

illā

ٱلضَّآلُّونَ

those who are astray

l-ḍālūna

٥٦

Dijo: “Solo desesperan de la misericordia de su Señor los extraviados”.

فَمَا

Then what

خَطْبُكُمْ

(is) your business

khaṭbukum

أَيُّهَا

O messengers

ayyuhā

ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

O messengers

Preguntó: “¿Cuál es vuestra misión? ¡Oh, emisarios [de Dios]!”

They said

إِنَّآ

Indeed, we

أُرْسِلْنَآ

[we] have been sent

ur'sil'nā

إِلَىٰ

to

ilā

قَوْمٍۢ

a people

qawmin

مُّجْرِمِينَ

criminals

muj'rimīna

٥٨

Dijeron: “Hemos sido enviados [para castigar] a un pueblo de pecadores,

Except

ءَالَ

the family

لُوطٍ

of Lut

lūṭin

إِنَّا

indeed, we

innā

لَمُنَجُّوهُمْ

surely will save them

lamunajjūhum

أَجْمَعِينَ

٥٩

salvo a la familia de Lot, a quienes salvaremos,

ٱمْرَأَتَهُۥ

his wife

im'ra-atahu

قَدَّرْنَآ ۙ

We have decreed

qaddarnā

إِنَّهَا

that she

ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ

those who remain behind

l-ghābirīna

٦٠

pero no a su mujer, a quien Dios decretó que fuese de los condenados”.

And when

(to the) family

لُوطٍ

(of) Lut

ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

the messengers

Los emisarios se presentaron ante la casa de Lot.

He said

إِنَّكُمْ

Indeed, you

قَوْمٌۭ

(are) a people

qawmun

مُّنكَرُونَ

unknown

munkarūna

٦٢

Dijo [Lot]: “Me sois gente desconocida”.

قَالُوا۟

They said

qālū

بَلْ

Nay

bal

جِئْنَـٰكَ

we have come to you

ji'nāka

بِمَا

with what

bimā

كَانُوا۟

they were

kānū

فِيهِ

in it

fīhi

يَمْتَرُونَ

disputing

yamtarūna

٦٣

Dijeron: “Hemos sido enviados para ejecutar el castigo del cual tu pueblo dudaba.

وَأَتَيْنَـٰكَ

And we have come to you

wa-ataynāka

بِٱلْحَقِّ

with the truth

bil-ḥaqi

وَإِنَّا

and indeed, we

wa-innā

لَصَـٰدِقُونَ

surely (are) truthful

laṣādiqūna

٦٤

Hemos venido a ti con la Verdad, y somos sinceros.

فَأَسْرِ

So travel

fa-asri

بِأَهْلِكَ

with your family

bi-ahlika

بِقِطْعٍۢ

in a portion

biqiṭ'ʿin

مِّنَ

of

mina

ٱلَّيْلِ

the night

al-layli

وَٱتَّبِعْ

and follow

wa-ittabiʿ

أَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ

their backs

adbārahum

وَلَا

and not

walā

يَلْتَفِتْ

let look back

yaltafit

مِنكُمْ

among you

minkum

أَحَدٌۭ

anyone

aḥadun

وَٱمْضُوا۟

and go on

wa-im'ḍū

حَيْثُ

where

ḥaythu

تُؤْمَرُونَ

you are ordered

tu'marūna

٦٥

Sal por la noche con tu familia [y tus seguidores]. Camina detrás de ellos [para protegerles] y que ninguno de vosotros mire hacia atrás. Dirigíos hacia donde se os ha ordenado”.

وَقَضَيْنَآ

And We conveyed

waqaḍaynā

إِلَيْهِ

to him

ilayhi

ذَٰلِكَ

[that]

dhālika

ٱلْأَمْرَ

the matter

l-amra

أَنَّ

that

anna

دَابِرَ

(the) root

dābira

هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ

(of) these

hāulāi

مَقْطُوعٌۭ

would be cut off

maqṭūʿun

مُّصْبِحِينَ

(by) early morning

muṣ'biḥīna

٦٦

Entonces le revelé [a Lot Mi decreto]: “Todos ellos [los pecadores] serán destruidos al amanecer”.

وَجَآءَ

And came

wajāa

أَهْلُ

(the) people

ahlu

ٱلْمَدِينَةِ

(of) the city

l-madīnati

يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ

rejoicing

yastabshirūna

٦٧

Pero se presentaron los habitantes de la ciudad contentos.

قَالَ

He said

qāla

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ

these

hāulāi

ضَيْفِى

(are) my guests

ḍayfī

فَلَا

so (do) not

falā

تَفْضَحُونِ

shame me

tafḍaḥūni

٦٨

Les dijo [Lot]: “Éstos son mis huéspedes. No me avergoncéis.

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

And fear

wa-ittaqū

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

وَلَا

and (do) not

walā

تُخْزُونِ

disgrace me

tukh'zūni

٦٩

Tened temor de Dios y no me humilléis”.

They said

أَوَلَمْ

Did not

awalam

نَنْهَكَ

we forbid you

nanhaka

عَنِ

from

ʿani

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

the world

l-ʿālamīna

Dijeron: “¿No te habíamos prohibido que protegieras a la gente [en tu casa]?”

قَالَ

He said

qāla

هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ

These

hāulāi

بَنَاتِىٓ

(are) my daughters

banātī

إِن

if

in

كُنتُمْ

you would be

kuntum

فَـٰعِلِينَ

doers

fāʿilīna

٧١

Les respondió: “Aquí están mis hijas si queréis [casaros]”.

لَعَمْرُكَ

By your life

laʿamruka

إِنَّهُمْ

indeed, they

innahum

لَفِى

were in

lafī

سَكْرَتِهِمْ

their intoxication

sakratihim

يَعْمَهُونَ

wandering blindly

yaʿmahūna

٧٢

[Dice Dios:] ¡Juro por tu vida! [¡Oh, Muhámmad!], que la aberración embriagaba sus mentes.

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ

So, seized them

fa-akhadhathumu

ٱلصَّيْحَةُ

the awful cry

l-ṣayḥatu

مُشْرِقِينَ

at sunrise

mush'riqīna

٧٣

Les sorprendió el castigo al amanecer.

فَجَعَلْنَا

And We made

fajaʿalnā

عَـٰلِيَهَا

its highest (part)

ʿāliyahā

سَافِلَهَا

its lowest

sāfilahā

وَأَمْطَرْنَا

and We rained

wa-amṭarnā

عَلَيْهِمْ

upon them

ʿalayhim

حِجَارَةًۭ

stones

ḥijāratan

مِّن

of

min

سِجِّيلٍ

baked clay

sijjīlin

٧٤

Puse al pueblo de cabeza y les envié una lluvia de piedras de arcilla.

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

(are) the Signs

laāyātin

لِّلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ

for those who discern

lil'mutawassimīna

٧٥

En eso hay signos para quienes reflexionan.

وَإِنَّهَا

And indeed, it

wa-innahā

لَبِسَبِيلٍۢ

(is) on a road

labisabīlin

مُّقِيمٍ

established

muqīmin

٧٦

[Esta ciudad arrasada] está aún en una ruta [a la vista de los viajeros].

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَةًۭ

surely (is) a Sign

laāyatan

لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

for the believers

lil'mu'minīna

En eso hay un signo para los creyentes.

وَإِن

And were

wa-in

كَانَ

And were

kāna

أَصْحَـٰبُ

(the) companions

aṣḥābu

ٱلْأَيْكَةِ

(of) the wood

l-aykati

لَظَـٰلِمِينَ

surely wrongdoers

laẓālimīna

٧٨

Los habitantes del pueblo de Jetró cometían injusticias,

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا

So We took retribution

fa-intaqamnā

مِنْهُمْ

from them

min'hum

وَإِنَّهُمَا

and indeed, they both

wa-innahumā

لَبِإِمَامٍۢ

(were) on a highway

labi-imāmin

مُّبِينٍۢ

clear

mubīnin

٧٩

por lo que les castigué. Ambas [ciudades, la de Lot y la de Jetró] son visibles desde una ruta.

And certainly

walaqad

كَذَّبَ

denied

kadhaba

أَصْحَـٰبُ

(the) companions

aṣḥābu

ٱلْحِجْرِ

(of) the Rocky Tract

l-ḥij'ri

ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

the Messengers

l-mur'salīna

٨٠

Los habitantes de Al Hiyr desmintieron a los Mensajeros.

وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ

And We gave them

waātaynāhum

ءَايَـٰتِنَا

Our Signs

āyātinā

فَكَانُوا۟

but they were

fakānū

عَنْهَا

from them

ʿanhā

مُعْرِضِينَ

turning away

muʿ'riḍīna

٨١

Les presenté Mis signos, pero los rechazaron.

وَكَانُوا۟

And they used (to)

wakānū

يَنْحِتُونَ

carve

yanḥitūna

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱلْجِبَالِ

the mountains

l-jibāli

بُيُوتًا

houses

buyūtan

ءَامِنِينَ

secure

āminīna

٨٢

Construían sus casas esculpiendo las montañas y allí se sentían seguros.

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ

But seized them

fa-akhadhathumu

ٱلصَّيْحَةُ

the awful cry

l-ṣayḥatu

مُصْبِحِينَ

(at) early morning

muṣ'biḥīna

٨٣

Pero les sorprendió el castigo al amanecer,

فَمَآ

And not

أَغْنَىٰ

availed

aghnā

عَنْهُم

them

ʿanhum

مَّا

what

mā

كَانُوا۟

they used (to)

kānū

يَكْسِبُونَ

earn

yaksibūna

y no les benefició en nada la riqueza que poseían.

وَمَا

And not

wamā

خَلَقْنَا

We created

khalaqnā

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

and the earth

wal-arḍa

وَمَا

and whatever

wamā

بَيْنَهُمَآ

(is) between them

baynahumā

إِلَّا

except

illā

بِٱلْحَقِّ ۗ

in truth

bil-ḥaqi

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

ٱلسَّاعَةَ

the Hour

l-sāʿata

لَـَٔاتِيَةٌۭ ۖ

(is) surely coming

laātiyatun

فَٱصْفَحِ

So overlook

fa-iṣ'faḥi

ٱلصَّفْحَ

(with) forgiveness

l-ṣafḥa

ٱلْجَمِيلَ

gracious

l-jamīla

٨٥

No he creado los cielos, la Tierra y cuanto hay entre ambos sino con un fin justo y verdadero. La Hora se aproxima, así que tú disculpa [a los que niegan el Mensaje] y trátalos de buena manera.

Indeed

رَبَّكَ

your Lord

rabbaka

هُوَ

He

huwa

ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ

(is) the Creator

l-khalāqu

ٱلْعَلِيمُ

the All-Knower

l-ʿalīmu

٨٦

Tu Señor es el Creador, el que todo lo sabe.

And certainly

walaqad

ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ

We have given you

ātaynāka

سَبْعًۭا

seven

sabʿan

مِّنَ

mina

ٱلْمَثَانِى

the oft-repeated

l-mathānī

وَٱلْقُرْءَانَ

and the Quran

wal-qur'āna

ٱلْعَظِيمَ

Great

l-ʿaẓīma

٨٧

Te he distinguido con la revelación de los siete versículos que se reiteran como parte del grandioso Corán.

أَزْوَٰجًۭا

(to) categories

مِّنْهُمْ

of them

وَلَا

and (do) not

walā

تَحْزَنْ

grieve

taḥzan

عَلَيْهِمْ

over them

ʿalayhim

وَٱخْفِضْ

And lower

wa-ikh'fiḍ

جَنَاحَكَ

your wing

janāḥaka

لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

to the believers

lil'mu'minīna

٨٨

No codicies aquello conque he agraciado a algunos de los ricos [de los que desmienten el Mensaje] y no sientas pena por ellos [a causa de su incredulidad]. Y baja tu ala protegiendo a los creyentes.

And say

إِنِّىٓ

Indeed, I

أَنَا

[I] am

ٱلنَّذِيرُ

a warner

ٱلْمُبِينُ

clear

Di: “He sido enviado para advertiros claramente [sobre un castigo]”,

We sent down

عَلَى

ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَ

those who divided

Those who

have made

Como los que creen en una parte del Corán y en otra no.

So by your Lord

لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْ

surely We will question them

ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

the polytheists

l-mush'rikīna

٩٤

Divulga lo que se te ordena [públicamente] y no te preocupes por los idólatras.

Indeed, We

كَفَيْنَـٰكَ

[We] are sufficient for you

kafaynāka

ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ

(against) the mockers

Yo te protegeré de quienes se burlen,

ٱلَّذِينَ

Those who

alladhīna

يَجْعَلُونَ

set up

yajʿalūna

مَعَ

with

maʿa

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

إِلَـٰهًا

god

ilāhan

ءَاخَرَ ۚ

another

ākhara

فَسَوْفَ

But soon

fasawfa

يَعْلَمُونَ

they will come to know

yaʿlamūna

٩٦

de quienes ponen junto a Dios otras deidades, ellos ya pronto sabrán [el castigo que les espera].

وَلَقَدْ

And verily

walaqad

نَعْلَمُ

We know

naʿlamu

أَنَّكَ

that [you]

annaka

يَضِيقُ

(is) straitened

yaḍīqu

صَدْرُكَ

your breast

ṣadruka

بِمَا

by what

bimā

يَقُولُونَ

they say

yaqūlūna

٩٧

Sé que te apenas por cuanto dicen,

فَسَبِّحْ

So glorify

fasabbiḥ

بِحَمْدِ

with the praise

biḥamdi

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

rabbika

وَكُن

and be

wakun

مِّنَ

of

mina

ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ

those who prostrate

l-sājidīna

٩٨

pero glorifica con alabanzas a tu Señor y cuéntate entre quienes se prosternan [en oración para aliviar su angustia],

وَٱعْبُدْ

And worship

wa-uʿ'bud

رَبَّكَ

your Lord

rabbaka

حَتَّىٰ

until

ḥattā

يَأْتِيَكَ

comes to you

yatiyaka

ٱلْيَقِينُ

the certainty

l-yaqīnu

٩٩

y adora a tu Señor hasta que te llegue la certeza.
