ٱلَّذِينَ

before you

قَبْلِكَ

before you

qablika

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu

ٱلْحَكِيمُ

the All-Wise

l-ḥakīmu

٣

[¡Oh, Muhámmad!] Dios te ha descendido la revelación, así como también a los [Mensajeros] que te precedieron. Dios es el Poderoso, el Sabio.

وَهُوَ

and He

ٱلْعَلِىُّ

(is) the Most High

l-ʿaliyu

ٱلْعَظِيمُ

the Most Great

وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ

and the Angels

wal-malāikatu

يُسَبِّحُونَ

glorify

yusabbiḥūna

بِحَمْدِ

(the) praise

biḥamdi

رَبِّهِمْ

(of) their Lord

rabbihim

وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ

and ask for forgiveness

wayastaghfirūna

لِمَن

for those

liman

فِى

on

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

the earth

l-arḍi

أَلَآ

Unquestionably

alā

إِنَّ

indeed

inna

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

هُوَ

He

huwa

ٱلْغَفُورُ

(is) the Oft-Forgiving

l-ghafūru

ٱلرَّحِيمُ

the Most Merciful

l-raḥīmu

٥

Los cielos están casi por hendirse desde arriba [por la grandiosidad de Dios] y los ángeles glorifican con alabanzas a su Señor y piden perdón por quienes están en la Tierra. ¿Acaso no es Dios el Absolvedor, el Misericordioso?

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

wa-alladhīna

ٱتَّخَذُوا۟

take

ittakhadhū

مِن

besides

دُونِهِۦٓ

أَوْلِيَآءَ

protectors

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

حَفِيظٌ

(is) a Guardian

ḥafīẓun

عَلَيْهِمْ

over them

ʿalayhim

وَمَآ

and not

wamā

أَنتَ

you

anta

عَلَيْهِم

(are) over them

ʿalayhim

بِوَكِيلٍۢ

a manager

biwakīlin

٦

Quienes han tomado a otros [como divinidades y objeto de adoración] en lugar de Dios, deben saber que Dios tiene registradas todas sus obras; pero tú [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] no eres responsable de lo que ellos hagan.

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

And thus

wakadhālika

أَوْحَيْنَآ

We have revealed

awḥaynā

إِلَيْكَ

to you

ilayka

قُرْءَانًا

a Quran

qur'ānan

عَرَبِيًّۭا

(in) Arabic

ʿarabiyyan

لِّتُنذِرَ

that you may warn

litundhira

أُمَّ

(the) mother

umma

ٱلْقُرَىٰ

(of) the towns

l-qurā

وَمَنْ

and whoever

waman

حَوْلَهَا

(is) around it

ḥawlahā

وَتُنذِرَ

and warn

watundhira

يَوْمَ

(of the) Day

yawma

ٱلْجَمْعِ

(of) Assembly

l-jamʿi

لَا

(there is) no

lā

رَيْبَ

doubt

rayba

فِيهِ ۚ

in it

fīhi

فَرِيقٌۭ

A party

farīqun

فِى

(will be) in

fī

ٱلْجَنَّةِ

Paradise

l-janati

وَفَرِيقٌۭ

and a party

wafarīqun

فِى

in

fī

ٱلسَّعِيرِ

the Blazing Fire

l-saʿīri

٧

Te he revelado el Corán en idioma árabe para que amonestes a la madre de las ciudades y a todos los que habitan en sus alrededores. Para que adviertas acerca del día de la reunión [para el Juicio Final], sobre el cual no existe duda alguna. [Después del Juicio,] un grupo irá al Paraíso y otro al Infierno.

And if

Allah willed

ٱللَّهُ

Allah willed

لَجَعَلَهُمْ

He could have made them

lajaʿalahum

أُمَّةًۭ

a community

ummatan

وَٰحِدَةًۭ

one

wāḥidatan

وَلَـٰكِن

but

walākin

يُدْخِلُ

He admits

yud'khilu

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

فِى

in (to)

fī

رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ

His Mercy

raḥmatihi

وَٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

And the wrongdoers

wal-ẓālimūna

مَا

not

mā

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مِّن

any

min

وَلِىٍّۢ

protector

waliyyin

وَلَا

and not

walā

نَصِيرٍ

any helper

naṣīrin

٨

Si Dios quisiera habría decretado que todos formaran una sola nación [con un credo único], pero agracia a quien quiere con Su misericordia, mientras que los opresores no tendrán protector alguno ni socorredor.

Or

ٱتَّخَذُوا۟

have they taken

besides Him

أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ

protectors

فَٱللَّهُ

But Allah

fal-lahu

هُوَ

He

huwa

ٱلْوَلِىُّ

(is) the Protector

l-waliyu

وَهُوَ

and He

wahuwa

يُحْىِ

gives life

yuḥ'yī

ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ

(to) the dead

l-mawtā

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

عَلَىٰ

(is) on

ʿalā

كُلِّ

every

kulli

شَىْءٍۢ

thing

shayin

قَدِيرٌۭ

All-Powerful

qadīrun

٩

¿Acaso toman a los ídolos como protectores en lugar de Dios? Dios es el Protector, Él resucitará a los muertos, porque tiene poder sobre todas las cosas [y por eso es que solo Él es Quien merece ser adorado].

And whatever

wamā

ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ

you differ

ikh'talaftum

فِيهِ

in it

fīhi

مِن

شَىْءٍۢ

a thing

فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ

then its ruling

faḥuk'muhu

إِلَى

(is) to

ilā

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

Allah

l-lahi

ذَٰلِكُمُ

That

dhālikumu

ٱللَّهُ

(is) Allah

l-lahu

رَبِّى

my Lord

rabbī

عَلَيْهِ

upon Him

ʿalayhi

تَوَكَّلْتُ

I put my trust

tawakkaltu

وَإِلَيْهِ

and to Him

wa-ilayhi

أُنِيبُ

I turn

unību

١٠

En aquello en que disputéis, su juicio debe remitirse a Dios. Dios es mi Señor, a Él me encomiendo y a Él me vuelvo arrepentido.

فَاطِرُ

(The) Creator

fāṭiru

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

جَعَلَ

He made

jaʿala

لَكُم

for you

lakum

مِّنْ

from

min

أَنفُسِكُمْ

yourselves

anfusikum

أَزْوَٰجًۭا

mates

azwājan

وَمِنَ

and among

wamina

ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ

the cattle

l-anʿāmi

أَزْوَٰجًۭا ۖ

mates

azwājan

يَذْرَؤُكُمْ

He multiplies you

yadhra-ukum

فِيهِ ۚ

thereby

fīhi

لَيْسَ

(There) is not

laysa

كَمِثْلِهِۦ

like Him

kamith'lihi

شَىْءٌۭ ۖ

anything

shayon

وَهُوَ

and He

wahuwa

ٱلسَّمِيعُ

(is) the All-Hearer

l-samīʿu

ٱلْبَصِيرُ

the All-Seer

l-baṣīru

١١

Es el Originador de los cielos y de la Tierra. Ha creado cónyuges de entre vosotros mismos [para que encontréis sosiego], y a los rebaños también los ha creado en parejas, y así es como os multiplicáis. No hay nada ni nadie semejante a Dios, y Él todo lo oye, todo lo ve.

To Him (belongs)

lahu

مَقَالِيدُ

(the) keys

maqālīdu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

يَبْسُطُ

He extends

yabsuṭu

ٱلرِّزْقَ

the provision

l-riz'qa

لِمَن

for whom

liman

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ

and restricts

wayaqdiru

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

بِكُلِّ

of every

bikulli

شَىْءٍ

thing

shayin

عَلِيمٌۭ

(is) All-Knower

ʿalīmun

١٢

Suyas son las llaves de los cielos y de la Tierra, concede Su sustento a quien Él quiere con abundancia o se lo restringe a quien quiere. Él lo sabe todo.

He has ordained

لَكُم

for you

مِّنَ

the religion

مَا

وَصَّىٰ

He enjoined

نُوحًۭا

Nuh

nūḥan

وَٱلَّذِىٓ

and that which

wa-alladhī

أَوْحَيْنَآ

We have revealed

awḥaynā

إِلَيْكَ

to you

ilayka

وَمَا

and what

wamā

وَصَّيْنَا

We enjoined

waṣṣaynā

بِهِۦٓ

upon

bihi

إِبْرَٰهِيمَ

Ibrahim

ib'rāhīma

وَمُوسَىٰ

and Musa

wamūsā

وَعِيسَىٰٓ ۖ

and Isa

waʿīsā

أَنْ

To

an

أَقِيمُوا۟

establish

aqīmū

ٱلدِّينَ

the religion

l-dīna

وَلَا

and not

walā

تَتَفَرَّقُوا۟

be divided

tatafarraqū

فِيهِ ۚ

therein

fīhi

كَبُرَ

Is difficult

kabura

عَلَى

on

ʿalā

ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

the polytheists

l-mush'rikīna

مَا

what

mā

تَدْعُوهُمْ

you call them

tadʿūhum

إِلَيْهِ ۚ

to it

ilayhi

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

يَجْتَبِىٓ

chooses

yajtabī

إِلَيْهِ

for Himself

ilayhi

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

وَيَهْدِىٓ

and guides

wayahdī

إِلَيْهِ

to Himself

ilayhi

مَن

whoever

man

يُنِيبُ

turns

yunību

١٣

Os he legislado la misma religión [monoteísta] que le había encomendado a Noé, y que te he revelado a ti [en el Corán] y que le encomendé a Abraham, a Moisés y a Jesús, para que seáis firmes en la práctica de la religión, y no creéis divisiones. Pero a los idólatras les parece difícil aquello a lo que tú les invitas. Dios elige [para que acepte la fe] a quien quiere, y guía hacia Él a quien se arrepiente.

And not

wamā

تَفَرَّقُوٓا۟

they became divided

tafarraqū

إِلَّا

until

illā

مِنۢ

after

بَعْدِ

مَا

[what]

جَآءَهُمُ

came to them

ٱلْعِلْمُ

the knowledge

l-ʿil'mu

بَغْيًۢا

(out of) rivalry

baghyan

بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ

among them

baynahum

وَلَوْلَا

And if not

walawlā

كَلِمَةٌۭ

(for) a word

kalimatun

سَبَقَتْ

(that) preceded

sabaqat

مِن

from

min

رَّبِّكَ

your Lord

rabbika

إِلَىٰٓ

for

ilā

أَجَلٍۢ

a term

ajalin

مُّسَمًّۭى

specified

musamman

لَّقُضِىَ

surely, it (would have) been settled

laquḍiya

بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ

between them

baynahum

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

أُورِثُوا۟

were made to inherit

ūrithū

ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ

the Book

l-kitāba

مِنۢ

after them

min

بَعْدِهِمْ

after them

baʿdihim

لَفِى

(are) surely in

lafī

شَكٍّۢ

doubt

shakkin

مِّنْهُ

concerning it

min'hu

مُرِيبٍۢ

disquieting

murībin

١٤

No se dividieron sino después de haberles llegado el conocimiento, por codicia entre ellos [acerca del liderazgo]. Si no fuese por una palabra previa de tu Señor que decidió un plazo prefijado [para el fin del mundo], todo habría sido decidido entre ellos. Quienes heredaron el Libro tienen dudas.

فَلِذَٰلِكَ

So to that

falidhālika

فَٱدْعُ ۖ

then invite

fa-ud'ʿu

وَٱسْتَقِمْ

and stand firm

wa-is'taqim

كَمَآ

as

kamā

أُمِرْتَ ۖ

you are commanded

umir'ta

وَلَا

and (do) not

walā

تَتَّبِعْ

follow

tattabiʿ

أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۖ

their desires

ahwāahum

وَقُلْ

but say

waqul

ءَامَنتُ

I believe

āmantu

بِمَآ

in what

bimā

أَنزَلَ

Allah has sent down

anzala

ٱللَّهُ

Allah has sent down

l-lahu

مِن

of

min

كِتَـٰبٍۢ ۖ

(the) Book

kitābin

وَأُمِرْتُ

and I am commanded

wa-umir'tu

لِأَعْدِلَ

that I do justice

li-aʿdila

بَيْنَكُمُ ۖ

between you

baynakumu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

رَبُّنَا

(is) our Lord

rabbunā

وَرَبُّكُمْ ۖ

and your Lord

warabbukum

لَنَآ

For us

lanā

أَعْمَـٰلُنَا

our deeds

aʿmālunā

وَلَكُمْ

and for you

walakum

أَعْمَـٰلُكُمْ ۖ

your deeds

aʿmālukum

لَا

(There is) no

lā

حُجَّةَ

argument

ḥujjata

بَيْنَنَا

between us

baynanā

وَبَيْنَكُمُ ۖ

and between you

wabaynakumu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

يَجْمَعُ

will assemble

yajmaʿu

بَيْنَنَا ۖ

[between] us

baynanā

وَإِلَيْهِ

and to Him

wa-ilayhi

ٱلْمَصِيرُ

(is) the final return

l-maṣīru

١٥

Por esto [¡Oh, Muhámmad!], invita [a aceptar el Islam] y obra rectamente como te fue ordenado, no sigas sus deseos y diles: “Creo en los Libros que Dios reveló [en su forma original], y me fue ordenado establecer justicia entre vosotros. Dios es nuestro Señor y también el vuestro, nosotros seremos juzgados por nuestras obras y vosotros por las vuestras. No hay necesidad de disputas entre nosotros y vosotros. Dios nos reunirá a todos cuando regresemos a Él para ser juzgados”.

And those who

ٱسْتُجِيبَ

response has been made to Him

حُجَّتُهُمْ

their argument

ḥujjatuhum

دَاحِضَةٌ

(is) invalid

dāḥiḍatun

عِندَ

with

ʿinda

رَبِّهِمْ

their Lord

rabbihim

وَعَلَيْهِمْ

and upon them

waʿalayhim

غَضَبٌۭ

(is) wrath

ghaḍabun

وَلَهُمْ

and for them

walahum

عَذَابٌۭ

(is) a punishment

ʿadhābun

شَدِيدٌ

severe

shadīdun

١٦

Aquellos que argumentan sobre Dios, después de que la gente creyera [en el Islam], sabes que sus argumentos carecen de validez ante vuestro Señor. Sobre ellos recaerá la ira [de Dios] y recibirán un castigo severo.

وَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۗ

and the Balance

wal-mīzāna

وَمَا

And what

wamā

يُدْرِيكَ

will make you know

yud'rīka

لَعَلَّ

Perhaps

laʿalla

ٱلسَّاعَةَ

the Hour

l-sāʿata

قَرِيبٌۭ

(is) near

qarībun

١٧

Dios es Quien reveló el Libro con la verdad y la justicia. ¿Y quién sabe? Quizá la Hora esté cercana.

Seek to hasten

بِهَا

[of] it

ٱلَّذِينَ

وَٱلَّذِينَ

and those who

wa-alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

مُشْفِقُونَ

(are) fearful

mush'fiqūna

مِنْهَا

of it

min'hā

وَيَعْلَمُونَ

and know

wayaʿlamūna

أَنَّهَا

that it

annahā

ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ

(is) the truth

l-ḥaqu

أَلَآ

Unquestionably

alā

إِنَّ

indeed

inna

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

يُمَارُونَ

dispute

yumārūna

فِى

concerning

fī

ٱلسَّاعَةِ

the Hour

l-sāʿati

لَفِى

(are) certainly in

lafī

ضَلَـٰلٍۭ

error

ḍalālin

بَعِيدٍ

far

baʿīdin

١٨

Quienes no creen en ella exigen que se adelante. Pero, en cambio, los creyentes sienten temor de ella y saben que es una verdad. ¿No es evidente que quienes discuten sobre cuándo será la Hora [del Juicio] están en un error profundo?

Allah

لَطِيفٌۢ

(is) Subtle

laṭīfun

بِعِبَادِهِۦ

with His slaves

biʿibādihi

يَرْزُقُ

He gives provision

yarzuqu

مَن

(to) whom

man

يَشَآءُ ۖ

He wills

yashāu

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

ٱلْقَوِىُّ

(is) the All-Strong

l-qawiyu

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzu

١٩

Dios es Bondadoso con Sus siervos, sustenta a quien quiere. Él es el Fuerte, el Poderoso.

desiring

حَرْثَ

(the) harvest

ḥartha

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

(of) the Hereafter

l-ākhirati

نَزِدْ

We increase

nazid

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

فِى

in

fī

حَرْثِهِۦ ۖ

his harvest

ḥarthihi

وَمَن

And whoever

waman

كَانَ

is

kāna

يُرِيدُ

desiring

yurīdu

حَرْثَ

(the) harvest

ḥartha

ٱلدُّنْيَا

(of) the world

l-dun'yā

نُؤْتِهِۦ

We give him

nu'tihi

مِنْهَا

of it

min'hā

وَمَا

but not

wamā

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ

the Hereafter

l-ākhirati

مِن

any

min

نَّصِيبٍ

share

naṣībin

٢٠

A aquel que busque obtener la recompensa de la otra vida [a través de obras buenas], se la multiplicaré. Pero a quien solo pretenda obtener bienes materiales en este mundo, se los concederé, pero no obtendrá recompensa alguna en la otra vida.

Or

am

لَهُمْ

شُرَكَـٰٓؤُا۟

(are) partners

shurakāu

شَرَعُوا۟

who have ordained

sharaʿū

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مِّنَ

mina

ٱلدِّينِ

the religion

l-dīni

مَا

what

mā

لَمْ

not

lam

يَأْذَنۢ

Allah has given permission of it

yadhan

بِهِ

Allah has given permission of it

bihi

ٱللَّهُ ۚ

Allah has given permission of it

l-lahu

وَلَوْلَا

And if not

walawlā

كَلِمَةُ

(for) a word

kalimatu

ٱلْفَصْلِ

decisive

l-faṣli

لَقُضِىَ

surely, it (would have) been judged

laquḍiya

بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ

between them

baynahum

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

عَذَابٌ

(is a) punishment

ʿadhābun

أَلِيمٌۭ

painful

alīmun

٢١

¿Acaso [los idólatras] tienen divinidades que les han establecido preceptos religiosos que Dios no ha prescrito? Si no fuese porque Dios ha decretado cuándo será el Día del Juicio, ya se los habría juzgado. Los injustos opresores sufrirán un castigo doloroso.

You will see

tarā

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna

مُشْفِقِينَ

fearful

mush'fiqīna

مِمَّا

of what

mimmā

كَسَبُوا۟

they earned

kasabū

وَهُوَ

and it

wahuwa

وَاقِعٌۢ

(will) befall

wāqiʿun

بِهِمْ ۗ

[on] them

bihim

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

wa-alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and do

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

فِى

(will be) in

fī

رَوْضَاتِ

flowering meadows

rawḍāti

ٱلْجَنَّاتِ ۖ

(of) the Gardens

l-janāti

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مَّا

(is) whatever

mā

يَشَآءُونَ

they wish

yashāūna

عِندَ

with

ʿinda

رَبِّهِمْ ۚ

their Lord

rabbihim

ذَٰلِكَ

That

dhālika

هُوَ

it

huwa

ٱلْفَضْلُ

(is) the Bounty

l-faḍlu

ٱلْكَبِيرُ

the Great

l-kabīru

٢٢

Verás [el Día del Juicio a los opresores] aterrorizados [de ser juzgados] por lo que cometieron, pero no podrán evitarlo. En cambio, quienes creyeron y obraron rectamente estarán en jardines del Paraíso junto a su Señor, donde se les concederá lo que deseen; este es el favor inmenso.

That

dhālika

ٱلَّذِى

(is of) which

alladhī

يُبَشِّرُ

Allah gives glad tidings

yubashiru

ٱللَّهُ

Allah gives glad tidings

l-lahu

عِبَادَهُ

(to) His slaves

ʿibādahu

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and do

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ ۗ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

قُل

Say

qul

لَّآ

Not

lā

أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ

I ask you

asalukum

عَلَيْهِ

for it

ʿalayhi

أَجْرًا

any payment

ajran

إِلَّا

except

illā

ٱلْمَوَدَّةَ

the love

l-mawadata

فِى

among

fī

ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ ۗ

the relatives

l-qur'bā

وَمَن

And whoever

waman

يَقْتَرِفْ

earns

yaqtarif

حَسَنَةًۭ

any good

ḥasanatan

نَّزِدْ

We increase

nazid

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

حُسْنًا ۚ

good

ḥus'nan

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

غَفُورٌۭ

(is) Oft-Forgiving

ghafūrun

شَكُورٌ

All-Appreciative

shakūrun

٢٣

Esta [es la recompensa] con la que Dios albricia a Sus siervos que creen y obran rectamente. Diles [¡Oh, Muhámmad!]: “No os pido ninguna remuneración, solo que me améis por el parentesco que nos une”. A quien realice una buena obra le aumentaré con un bien mayor. Dios es Absolvedor, Agradecido.

Or

am

يَقُولُونَ

(do) they say

yaqūlūna

ٱفْتَرَىٰ

He has invented

if'tarā

عَلَى

about

ʿalā

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

كَذِبًۭا ۖ

a lie

kadhiban

فَإِن

But if

fa-in

يَشَإِ

Allah willed

yasha-i

ٱللَّهُ

Allah willed

l-lahu

يَخْتِمْ

He would seal

yakhtim

عَلَىٰ

[over]

ʿalā

قَلْبِكَ ۗ

your heart

qalbika

وَيَمْحُ

And Allah eliminates

wayamḥu

ٱللَّهُ

And Allah eliminates

l-lahu

ٱلْبَـٰطِلَ

the falsehood

l-bāṭila

وَيُحِقُّ

and establishes

wayuḥiqqu

ٱلْحَقَّ

the truth

l-ḥaqa

بِكَلِمَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ

by His Words

bikalimātihi

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

عَلِيمٌۢ

(is) All-Knowing

ʿalīmun

بِذَاتِ

of what

bidhāti

ٱلصُّدُورِ

(is in) the breasts

l-ṣudūri

٢٤

Algunos dicen: “[Muhámmad] ha inventado mentiras acerca de Dios”, pero si fuera así Dios habría sellado su corazón. Dios hace que se desvanezca lo falso y que prevalezca la Verdad por Su palabra. Él conoce cuanto encierran los pechos.

And He

wahuwa

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

alladhī

يَقْبَلُ

accepts

yaqbalu

ٱلتَّوْبَةَ

the repentance

l-tawbata

عَنْ

of

ʿan

عِبَادِهِۦ

His slaves

ʿibādihi

وَيَعْفُوا۟

and pardons

wayaʿfū

عَنِ

[of]

ʿani

ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ

the evil

l-sayiāti

وَيَعْلَمُ

and He knows

wayaʿlamu

مَا

what

mā

تَفْعَلُونَ

you do

tafʿalūna

٢٥

Él es Quien acepta el arrepentimiento de Sus siervos, perdona sus pecados y está bien enterado de cuanto hacen.

وَيَسْتَجِيبُ

And He answers

wayastajību

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and do

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

وَيَزِيدُهُم

and increases (for) them

wayazīduhum

مِّن

from

min

فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ

His Bounty

faḍlihi

وَٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

And the disbelievers

wal-kāfirūna

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

عَذَابٌۭ

(will be) a punishment

ʿadhābun

شَدِيدٌۭ

severe

shadīdun

٢٦

Él responde [las súplicas] a quienes creen y obran rectamente, y les aumenta su favor. En cambio, los que se niegan a creer tendrán un castigo severo.

۞ وَلَوْ

And if

walaw

بَسَطَ

Allah extends

basaṭa

ٱللَّهُ

Allah extends

l-lahu

ٱلرِّزْقَ

the provision

l-riz'qa

لِعِبَادِهِۦ

for His slaves

liʿibādihi

لَبَغَوْا۟

surely they would rebel

labaghaw

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

وَلَـٰكِن

but

walākin

يُنَزِّلُ

He sends down

yunazzilu

بِقَدَرٍۢ

in (due) measure

biqadarin

مَّا

what

mā

يَشَآءُ ۚ

He wills

yashāu

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

بِعِبَادِهِۦ

of His slaves

biʿibādihi

خَبِيرٌۢ

(is) All-Aware

khabīrun

بَصِيرٌۭ

All-Seer

baṣīrun

٢٧

Si Dios les hubiera dado a Sus siervos un sustento sin límites, se habrían extralimitado en la Tierra; pero les concede [el sustento] en la justa medida [para cada uno]. Él lo sabe todo y lo ve todo.

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

alladhī

يُنَزِّلُ

sends down

yunazzilu

ٱلْغَيْثَ

the rain

l-ghaytha

مِنۢ

after

min

بَعْدِ

after

baʿdi

مَا

[what]

mā

قَنَطُوا۟

they have despaired

qanaṭū

وَيَنشُرُ

and spreads

wayanshuru

رَحْمَتَهُۥ ۚ

His mercy

raḥmatahu

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

ٱلْوَلِىُّ

(is) the Protector

l-waliyu

ٱلْحَمِيدُ

the Praiseworthy

l-ḥamīdu

٢٨

Él es Quien hizo descender la lluvia beneficiosa cuando habían caído en la desesperación, esparciendo Su misericordia. Él es el Protector, el Digno de alabanza.

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ

His Signs

āyātihi

خَلْقُ

(is the) creation

khalqu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

وَمَا

and whatever

wamā

بَثَّ

He has dispersed

batha

فِيهِمَا

in both of them

fīhimā

مِن

of

min

دَآبَّةٍۢ ۚ

(the) creatures

dābbatin

وَهُوَ

And He

wahuwa

عَلَىٰ

(is) over

ʿalā

جَمْعِهِمْ

their gathering

jamʿihim

إِذَا

when

idhā

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

قَدِيرٌۭ

All-Powerful

qadīrun

٢٩

Entre Sus signos está la creación de los cielos, de la Tierra y de todas las criaturas que diseminó en ella. Él tiene poder para congregarlos a todos cuando quiera.

وَمَآ

And whatever

wamā

أَصَـٰبَكُم

befalls you

aṣābakum

مِّن

of

min

مُّصِيبَةٍۢ

(the) misfortune

muṣībatin

فَبِمَا

(is because) of what

fabimā

كَسَبَتْ

have earned

kasabat

أَيْدِيكُمْ

your hands

aydīkum

وَيَعْفُوا۟

But He pardons

wayaʿfū

عَن

[from]

ʿan

كَثِيرٍۢ

much

kathīrin

٣٠

Si os aflige una desgracia, es consecuencia de [los pecados] que vuestras propias manos han cometido, a pesar de que Dios os perdona muchas faltas [por Su gracia].

وَمَآ

And not

wamā

أَنتُم

you

antum

بِمُعْجِزِينَ

(can) escape

bimuʿ'jizīna

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ

the earth

l-arḍi

وَمَا

and not

wamā

لَكُم

for you

lakum

مِّن

besides

min

دُونِ

besides

dūni

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

مِن

any

min

وَلِىٍّۢ

protector

waliyyin

وَلَا

and not

walā

نَصِيرٍۢ

any helper

naṣīrin

٣١

No hay lugar en la Tierra en el que podáis escapar de Dios. No tenéis protector ni socorredor fuera de Dios.

وَمِنْ

And among

wamin

ءَايَـٰتِهِ

His Signs

āyātihi

ٱلْجَوَارِ

(are) the ships

l-jawāri

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْبَحْرِ

the sea

l-baḥri

كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِ

like [the] mountains

kal-aʿlāmi

٣٢

Entre los signos [de Su misericordia] están los barcos que navegan en el mar, grandes como montañas.

إِن

If

in

يَشَأْ

He wills

yasha

يُسْكِنِ

He can cause the wind to become still

yus'kini

ٱلرِّيحَ

He can cause the wind to become still

l-rīḥa

فَيَظْلَلْنَ

then they would remain

fayaẓlalna

رَوَاكِدَ

motionless

rawākida

عَلَىٰ

on

ʿalā

ظَهْرِهِۦٓ ۚ

its back

ẓahrihi

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) Signs

laāyātin

لِّكُلِّ

for everyone

likulli

صَبَّارٍۢ

patient

ṣabbārin

شَكُورٍ

(and) grateful

shakūrin

٣٣

Pero cuando quiere, calma el viento y permanecen inmóviles en la superficie. En esto hay signos para todo perseverante, agradecido [con Dios].

Or

aw

يُوبِقْهُنَّ

He could destroy them

yūbiq'hunna

بِمَا

for what

bimā

كَسَبُوا۟

they have earned

kasabū

وَيَعْفُ

but He pardons

wayaʿfu

عَن

[from]

ʿan

كَثِيرٍۢ

much

kathīrin

٣٤

O podría hacerles naufragar a causa de sus pecados, pero Dios perdona muchas de las faltas.

وَيَعْلَمَ

And may know

wayaʿlama

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

يُجَـٰدِلُونَ

dispute

yujādilūna

فِىٓ

concerning

fī

ءَايَـٰتِنَا

Our Signs

āyātinā

مَا

(that) not

mā

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مِّن

any

min

مَّحِيصٍۢ

place of refuge

maḥīṣin

٣٥

Ya sabrán quienes disputan sobre Mis signos que no tendrán escapatoria.

فَمَآ

So whatever

famā

أُوتِيتُم

you are given

ūtītum

مِّن

of

min

شَىْءٍۢ

a thing

shayin

فَمَتَـٰعُ

(is) but a passing enjoyment

famatāʿu

ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ

(for) the life

l-ḥayati

ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ

(of) the world

l-dun'yā

وَمَا

But what

wamā

عِندَ

(is) with

ʿinda

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

خَيْرٌۭ

(is) better

khayrun

وَأَبْقَىٰ

and more lasting

wa-abqā

لِلَّذِينَ

for those who

lilladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَلَىٰ

and upon

waʿalā

رَبِّهِمْ

their Lord

rabbihim

يَتَوَكَّلُونَ

put (their) trust

yatawakkalūna

٣٦

Lo que se les ha concedido [de bienes materiales] es parte de los placeres transitorios de esta vida mundanal. Pero la recompensa que Dios tiene reservada [en el Paraíso] será mejor y más duradera, para quienes crean y se encomienden a su Señor,

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

wa-alladhīna

يَجْتَنِبُونَ

avoid

yajtanibūna

كَبَـٰٓئِرَ

(the) greater

kabāira

ٱلْإِثْمِ

sins

l-ith'mi

وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ

and the immoralities

wal-fawāḥisha

وَإِذَا

and when

wa-idhā

مَا

and when

mā

غَضِبُوا۟

they are angry

ghaḍibū

هُمْ

they

hum

يَغْفِرُونَ

forgive

yaghfirūna

٣٧

para quienes evitan los pecados graves y las obscenidades, y cuando se enojan saben perdonar;

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

wa-alladhīna

ٱسْتَجَابُوا۟

respond

is'tajābū

لِرَبِّهِمْ

to their Lord

lirabbihim

وَأَقَامُوا۟

and establish

wa-aqāmū

ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ

prayer

l-ṣalata

وَأَمْرُهُمْ

and their affairs

wa-amruhum

شُورَىٰ

(are conducted by) consultation

shūrā

بَيْنَهُمْ

among them

baynahum

وَمِمَّا

and from what

wamimmā

رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ

We have provided them

razaqnāhum

يُنفِقُونَ

they spend

yunfiqūna

٣٨

para quienes responden a su Señor, cumplen con la oración prescrita, se consultan para resolver sus asuntos y con lo que les he concedido hacen caridades,

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

wa-alladhīna

إِذَآ

when

idhā

أَصَابَهُمُ

strikes them

aṣābahumu

ٱلْبَغْىُ

tyranny

l-baghyu

هُمْ

they

hum

يَنتَصِرُونَ

defend themselves

yantaṣirūna

٣٩

y cuando son víctimas de una injusticia son solidarios unos con otros [para restablecer la justicia].

وَجَزَٰٓؤُا۟

(The) recompense

wajazāu

سَيِّئَةٍۢ

(of) an evil

sayyi-atin

سَيِّئَةٌۭ

(is) an evil

sayyi-atun

مِّثْلُهَا ۖ

like it

mith'luhā

فَمَنْ

But whoever

faman

عَفَا

pardons

ʿafā

وَأَصْلَحَ

and makes reconciliation

wa-aṣlaḥa

فَأَجْرُهُۥ

then his reward

fa-ajruhu

عَلَى

(is) on

ʿalā

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

Allah

l-lahi

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

لَا

(does) not

lā

يُحِبُّ

like

yuḥibbu

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna

٤٠

La ofensa debe ser retribuida por una pena equivalente, pero quienes sepan perdonar y acepten conciliar serán recompensados por Dios. Él no ama a los injustos.

وَلَمَنِ

And surely whosoever

walamani

ٱنتَصَرَ

defends himself

intaṣara

بَعْدَ

after

baʿda

ظُلْمِهِۦ

he has been wronged

ẓul'mihi

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

then those

fa-ulāika

مَا

not

mā

عَلَيْهِم

(is) against them

ʿalayhim

مِّن

any

min

سَبِيلٍ

way

sabīlin

٤١

Quien se defiende cuando es oprimido, no debe ser reprochado.

Only

innamā

ٱلسَّبِيلُ

the way

l-sabīlu

عَلَى

against

ʿalā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

يَظْلِمُونَ

oppress

ٱلنَّاسَ

the people

l-nāsa

وَيَبْغُونَ

and rebel

wayabghūna

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

l-arḍi

بِغَيْرِ

without

bighayri

ٱلْحَقِّ ۚ

right

l-ḥaqi

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ

Those

ulāika

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

عَذَابٌ

(is) a punishment

ʿadhābun

أَلِيمٌۭ

painful

alīmun

٤٢

Los que deben ser reprochados son quienes oprimen a la gente y se comportan con soberbia en la Tierra sin derecho alguno. Esos sufrirán un castigo doloroso.

And whoever

walaman

صَبَرَ

(is) patient

ṣabara

وَغَفَرَ

and forgives

waghafara

إِنَّ

indeed

inna

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَمِنْ

(is) surely of

lamin

عَزْمِ

matters of determination

ʿazmi

ٱلْأُمُورِ

matters of determination

l-umūri

٤٣

Pero tener paciencia [ante las injusticias] y perdonar, es algo que requiere de gran determinación.

And whoever

يُضْلِلِ

Allah lets go astray

yuḍ'lili

ٱللَّهُ

Allah lets go astray

l-lahu

فَمَا

then not

famā

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

مِن

وَلِىٍّۢ

protector

waliyyin

مِّنۢ

after Him

min

بَعْدِهِۦ ۗ

after Him

baʿdihi

وَتَرَى

And you will see

watarā

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna

لَمَّا

when

lammā

رَأَوُا۟

they see

ra-awū

ٱلْعَذَابَ

the punishment

l-ʿadhāba

يَقُولُونَ

saying

Is

hal

إِلَىٰ

(there) for

ilā

مَرَدٍّۢ

return

maraddin

مِّن

any

min

سَبِيلٍۢ

way

sabīlin

٤٤

Para quien Dios haya decretado el desvío, no tendrá protector alguno fuera de Él. Cuando los opresores contemplen el castigo los verás decir: “¿Hay alguna forma de volver [a la vida mundanal y corregir nuestras elecciones]?”

وَتَرَىٰهُمْ

And you will see them

watarāhum

يُعْرَضُونَ

being exposed

yuʿ'raḍūna

عَلَيْهَا

to it

ʿalayhā

خَـٰشِعِينَ

humbled

khāshiʿīna

مِنَ

by

mina

ٱلذُّلِّ

disgrace

l-dhuli

يَنظُرُونَ

looking

yanẓurūna

مِن

with

min

طَرْفٍ

a glance

ṭarfin

خَفِىٍّۢ ۗ

stealthy

khafiyyin

وَقَالَ

And will say

waqāla

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

believed

āmanū

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ

the losers

l-khāsirīna

ٱلَّذِينَ

(are) those who

alladhīna

خَسِرُوٓا۟

lost

khasirū

أَنفُسَهُمْ

themselves

anfusahum

وَأَهْلِيهِمْ

and their families

wa-ahlīhim

يَوْمَ

(on the) Day

yawma

ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ

(of) the Resurrection

l-qiyāmati

أَلَآ

Unquestionably

alā

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

the wrongdoers

l-ẓālimīna

فِى

(are) in

fī

عَذَابٍۢ

a punishment

ʿadhābin

مُّقِيمٍۢ

lasting

muqīmin

٤٥

Podrás verles expuestos al castigo, sumisos y humillados, mirando con temor [al Infierno]; entonces dirán los creyentes: “Los perdedores serán quienes se malogren a sí mismos y a sus familias el Día de la Resurrección”. ¿Acaso los opresores no recibirán un castigo eterno?

And not

wamā

كَانَ

will be

kāna

لَهُم

for them

lahum

مِّنْ

any

min

أَوْلِيَآءَ

protector

awliyāa

يَنصُرُونَهُم

(who) will help them

yanṣurūnahum

مِّن

besides

min

دُونِ

besides

dūni

ٱللَّهِ ۗ

Allah

l-lahi

وَمَن

And whom

waman

يُضْلِلِ

Allah lets go astray

yuḍ'lili

ٱللَّهُ

Allah lets go astray

l-lahu

فَمَا

then not

famā

لَهُۥ

for him

lahu

مِن

any

min

سَبِيلٍ

way

sabīlin

٤٦

Tampoco tendrán protectores fuera de Dios que los defiendan. Para quien Dios haya decretado el extravío, no podrá encaminarse jamás.

ٱسْتَجِيبُوا۟

Respond

is'tajībū

لِرَبِّكُم

to your Lord

lirabbikum

مِّن

before

min

قَبْلِ

before

qabli

أَن

[that]

an

يَأْتِىَ

comes

yatiya

يَوْمٌۭ

a Day

yawmun

لَّا

(there is) no

lā

مَرَدَّ

averting

maradda

لَهُۥ

for it

lahu

مِنَ

from

mina

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

Allah

l-lahi

مَا

Not

mā

لَكُم

(is) for you

lakum

مِّن

any

min

مَّلْجَإٍۢ

refuge

malja-in

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

(on) that Day

yawma-idhin

وَمَا

and not

wamā

لَكُم

for you

lakum

مِّن

any

min

نَّكِيرٍۢ

denial

nakīrin

٤٧

Obedeced a vuestro Señor antes de que llegue el día en que no podáis evitar [recibir el castigo] de Dios, porque ese día no tendréis refugio alguno ni podréis negar lo que hicisteis.

فَإِنْ

Then if

fa-in

أَعْرَضُوا۟

they turn away

aʿraḍū

فَمَآ

then not

famā

أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ

We have sent you

arsalnāka

عَلَيْهِمْ

over them

ʿalayhim

حَفِيظًا ۖ

(as) a guardian

ḥafīẓan

إِنْ

Not

in

عَلَيْكَ

(is) on you

ʿalayka

إِلَّا

except

illā

ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ۗ

the conveyance

l-balāghu

وَإِنَّآ

And indeed

wa-innā

إِذَآ

when

idhā

أَذَقْنَا

We cause to taste

adhaqnā

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ

[the] man

l-insāna

مِنَّا

from Us

minnā

رَحْمَةًۭ

Mercy

raḥmatan

فَرِحَ

he rejoices

fariḥa

بِهَا ۖ

in it

bihā

وَإِن

But if

wa-in

تُصِبْهُمْ

befalls them

tuṣib'hum

سَيِّئَةٌۢ

evil

sayyi-atun

بِمَا

for what

bimā

قَدَّمَتْ

have sent forth

qaddamat

أَيْدِيهِمْ

their hands

aydīhim

فَإِنَّ

then indeed

fa-inna

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ

[the] man

l-insāna

كَفُورٌۭ

(is) ungrateful

kafūrun

٤٨

Si se niegan a obedecer, sabe [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] que no te he enviado para hacerte responsable de sus obras. Tú solo debes divulgar [el Mensaje]. Cuando agracio a una persona con Mi misericordia, esta se alegra, pero si le alcanza una desgracia como consecuencia de lo que hizo con sus propias manos, entonces la persona se muestra desagradecida.

لِّلَّهِ

To Allah

lillahi

مُلْكُ

(belongs the) dominion

mul'ku

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

يَخْلُقُ

He creates

yakhluqu

مَا

what

mā

يَشَآءُ ۚ

He wills

yashāu

يَهَبُ

He grants

yahabu

لِمَن

to whom

liman

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

إِنَـٰثًۭا

females

ināthan

وَيَهَبُ

and He grants

wayahabu

لِمَن

to whom

liman

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

ٱلذُّكُورَ

[the] males

l-dhukūra

٤٩

A Dios pertenece el reino de los cielos y de la Tierra, Él crea lo que quiere, agracia a quien quiere con hijas mujeres y a quien quiere con hijos varones,

Or

aw

يُزَوِّجُهُمْ

He grants them

yuzawwijuhum

ذُكْرَانًۭا

males

dhuk'rānan

وَإِنَـٰثًۭا ۖ

and females

wa-ināthan

وَيَجْعَلُ

and He makes

wayajʿalu

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

عَقِيمًا ۚ

barren

ʿaqīman

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

عَلِيمٌۭ

(is) All-Knower

ʿalīmun

قَدِيرٌۭ

All-Powerful

qadīrun

٥٠

o les concede hijos varones y mujeres, o los hace estériles. Él lo sabe todo, es sobre toda cosa Poderoso.

۞ وَمَا

And not

wamā

كَانَ

is

kāna

لِبَشَرٍ

for any human

libasharin

أَن

that

an

يُكَلِّمَهُ

Allah should speak to him

yukallimahu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah should speak to him

l-lahu

إِلَّا

except

illā

وَحْيًا

(by) revelation

waḥyan

أَوْ

or

aw

مِن

from

min

وَرَآئِ

behind

warāi

حِجَابٍ

a veil

ḥijābin

أَوْ

or

aw

يُرْسِلَ

(by) sending

yur'sila

رَسُولًۭا

a messenger

rasūlan

فَيُوحِىَ

then he reveals

fayūḥiya

بِإِذْنِهِۦ

by His permission

bi-idh'nihi

مَا

what

mā

يَشَآءُ ۚ

He wills

yashāu

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

innahu

عَلِىٌّ

(is) Most High

ʿaliyyun

حَكِيمٌۭ

Most Wise

ḥakīmun

٥١

Dios no habla a las personas excepto por inspiración o tras un velo o enviando un Mensajero [el ángel Gabriel] para transmitirle por Su voluntad lo que Él quiera de la revelación. Él es Sublime, Sabio.

وَكَذَٰلِكَ

And thus

wakadhālika

أَوْحَيْنَآ

We have revealed

awḥaynā

إِلَيْكَ

to you

ilayka

رُوحًۭا

an inspiration

rūḥan

مِّنْ

by

min

أَمْرِنَا ۚ

Our Command

amrinā

مَا

Not

mā

كُنتَ

(did) you

kunta

تَدْرِى

know

tadrī

مَا

what

mā

ٱلْكِتَـٰبُ

the Book (is)

l-kitābu

وَلَا

and not

walā

ٱلْإِيمَـٰنُ

the faith

l-īmānu

وَلَـٰكِن

But

walākin

جَعَلْنَـٰهُ

We have made it

jaʿalnāhu

نُورًۭا

a light

nūran

نَّهْدِى

We guide

nahdī

بِهِۦ

with it

bihi

مَن

whom

man

نَّشَآءُ

We will

nashāu

مِنْ

of

min

عِبَادِنَا ۚ

Our slaves

ʿibādinā

وَإِنَّكَ

And indeed, you

wa-innaka

لَتَهْدِىٓ

surely guide

latahdī

إِلَىٰ

to

ilā

صِرَٰطٍۢ

(the) Path

ṣirāṭin

مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ

Straight

mus'taqīmin

٥٢

Te he revelado [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] una inspiración Mía [el Corán]. Tú no conocías el Libro [revelado anteriormente] ni la fe [en sus detalles]. Entonces hice que fuera una luz con la que guío a quienes quiero, y tú [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] guías al sendero recto,

صِرَٰطِ

(The) path

ṣirāṭi

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

ٱلَّذِى

the One

alladhī

لَهُۥ

to Whom

lahu

مَا

(belongs) whatever

mā

فِى

(is) in

fī

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَمَا

and whatever

wamā

فِى

(is) in

fī

ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ

the earth

l-arḍi

أَلَآ

Unquestionably

alā

إِلَى

To

ilā

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

تَصِيرُ

reach

taṣīru

ٱلْأُمُورُ

all affairs

l-umūru

٥٣

el sendero de Dios, a Quien pertenece cuanto hay en los cielos y en la Tierra. ¿Acaso no retornan a Dios todos los asuntos?
