إِنَّا

Indeed

innā

فَتَحْنَا

We have given victory

fataḥnā

لَكَ

to you

laka

فَتْحًۭا

a victory

fatḥan

مُّبِينًۭا

clear

Te he concedido [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] una victoria evidente.

His favor

upon you

ʿalayka

وَيَهْدِيَكَ

and guide you

wayahdiyaka

صِرَٰطًۭا

(to) a Path

ṣirāṭan

مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا

Straight

mus'taqīman

٢

Dios te perdonará [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] las faltas que cometiste y las que pudieses cometer, completará Su gracia sobre ti, te afianzará en el sendero recto,

مَّعَ

maʿa

إِيمَـٰنِهِمْ ۗ

their faith

īmānihim

وَلِلَّهِ

And for Allah

walillahi

جُنُودُ

(are the) hosts

junūdu

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

وَكَانَ

and Allah

wakāna

ٱللَّهُ

and Allah

l-lahu

عَلِيمًا

(is) All-Knower

ʿalīman

حَكِيمًۭا

All-Wise

ḥakīman

٤

Él es Quien hizo descender el sosiego en los corazones de los creyentes para aumentarles fe a la fe que ya tenían. A Dios pertenecen los ejércitos de los cielos y de la Tierra; y Dios lo sabe todo, es Sabio.

لِّيُدْخِلَ

That He may admit

liyud'khila

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

the believing men

l-mu'minīna

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ

and the believing women

wal-mu'mināti

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

(to) Gardens

jannātin

تَجْرِى

flow

tajrī

مِن

from

min

تَحْتِهَا

underneath them

taḥtihā

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ

the rivers

l-anhāru

خَـٰلِدِينَ

(to) abide forever

khālidīna

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

وَيُكَفِّرَ

and (to) remove

wayukaffira

عَنْهُمْ

from them

ʿanhum

سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ ۚ

their misdeeds

sayyiātihim

وَكَانَ

and is

wakāna

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

عِندَ

with

ʿinda

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

فَوْزًا

a success

fawzan

عَظِيمًۭا

great

ʿaẓīman

٥

[Dios] introducirá por toda la eternidad a los creyentes y a las creyentes en jardines por donde corren ríos, y les perdonará sus pecados. Este es un éxito grandioso ante Dios.

وَيُعَذِّبَ

And He (may) punish

wayuʿadhiba

ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ

the hypocrite men

l-munāfiqīna

وَٱلْمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ

and the hypocrite women

wal-munāfiqāti

وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

and the polytheist men

wal-mush'rikīna

وَٱلْمُشْرِكَـٰتِ

and the polytheist women

wal-mush'rikāti

ٱلظَّآنِّينَ

who assume

l-ẓānīna

بِٱللَّهِ

about Allah

bil-lahi

ظَنَّ

an assumption

ẓanna

ٱلسَّوْءِ ۚ

evil

l-sawi

عَلَيْهِمْ

Upon them

ʿalayhim

دَآئِرَةُ

(is) a turn

dāiratu

ٱلسَّوْءِ ۖ

(of) evil

l-sawi

وَغَضِبَ

and Allah's wrath (is)

waghaḍiba

ٱللَّهُ

and Allah's wrath (is)

l-lahu

عَلَيْهِمْ

upon them

ʿalayhim

وَلَعَنَهُمْ

and He has cursed them

walaʿanahum

وَأَعَدَّ

and prepared

wa-aʿadda

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

جَهَنَّمَ ۖ

Hell

jahannama

وَسَآءَتْ

and evil

wasāat

مَصِيرًۭا

(is the) destination

maṣīran

٦

En cambio, a los hipócritas y las hipócritas, y a los idólatras y las idólatras que pensaban mal de Dios, los castigará; la ira de Dios recaerá sobre ellos y los maldecirá, y les tiene reservado el castigo del Infierno. ¡Qué horrible destino!

And for Allah

walillahi

جُنُودُ

(are the) hosts

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

وَكَانَ

and Allah

wakāna

ٱللَّهُ

and Allah

عَزِيزًا

(is) All-Mighty

ʿazīzan

حَكِيمًا

All-Wise

ḥakīman

A Dios pertenecen los ejércitos de los cielos y de la Tierra. Dios es Poderoso, Sabio.

Indeed, We

innā

أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ

[We] have sent you

arsalnāka

شَـٰهِدًۭا

(as) a witness

shāhidan

وَمُبَشِّرًۭا

and (as) a bearer of glad tidings

wamubashiran

وَنَذِيرًۭا

and (as) a warner

wanadhīran

٨

Te he enviado [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] como testigo [de la unicidad divina], albriciador y amonestador,

لِّتُؤْمِنُوا۟

That you may believe

litu'minū

بِٱللَّهِ

in Allah

bil-lahi

وَرَسُولِهِۦ

and His Messenger

warasūlihi

وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ

and (may) honor him

watuʿazzirūhu

وَتُوَقِّرُوهُ

and respect him

watuwaqqirūhu

وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ

and glorify Him

watusabbiḥūhu

بُكْرَةًۭ

morning

buk'ratan

وَأَصِيلًا

and evening

wa-aṣīlan

٩

para que creáis en Dios y en Su Mensajero, asistáis y honréis [al Profeta], y glorifiquéis [a Dios] por la mañana y por la tarde.

Indeed

inna

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

يُبَايِعُونَكَ

pledge allegiance to you

yubāyiʿūnaka

إِنَّمَا

only

innamā

يُبَايِعُونَ

they pledge allegiance

yubāyiʿūna

ٱللَّهَ

(to) Allah

l-laha

يَدُ

(The) Hand

yadu

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

فَوْقَ

(is) over

fawqa

أَيْدِيهِمْ ۚ

their hands

aydīhim

فَمَن

Then whoever

faman

نَّكَثَ

breaks (his oath)

nakatha

فَإِنَّمَا

then only

fa-innamā

يَنكُثُ

he breaks

yankuthu

عَلَىٰ

against

ʿalā

نَفْسِهِۦ ۖ

himself

nafsihi

وَمَنْ

and whoever

waman

أَوْفَىٰ

fulfils

awfā

بِمَا

what

bimā

عَـٰهَدَ

he has covenanted

ʿāhada

عَلَيْهُ

(with)

ʿalayhu

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

فَسَيُؤْتِيهِ

soon He will give him

fasayu'tīhi

أَجْرًا

a reward

ajran

عَظِيمًۭا

great

ʿaẓīman

١٠

Quienes te juran fidelidad en realidad están jurando fidelidad a Dios, pues la mano de Dios está sobre sus manos. Quien no cumpla con el juramento solo se perjudicará a sí mismo; en cambio, quien respete lo pactado con Dios recibirá una recompensa grandiosa.

سَيَقُولُ

Will say

sayaqūlu

لَكَ

to you

ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ

those who remained behind

l-mukhalafūna

مِنَ

mina

ٱلْأَعْرَابِ

the Bedouins

l-aʿrābi

شَغَلَتْنَآ

Kept us busy

shaghalatnā

أَمْوَٰلُنَا

our properties

amwālunā

وَأَهْلُونَا

and our families

wa-ahlūnā

فَٱسْتَغْفِرْ

so ask forgiveness

fa-is'taghfir

لَنَا ۚ

for us

lanā

يَقُولُونَ

They say

yaqūlūna

بِأَلْسِنَتِهِم

with their tongues

bi-alsinatihim

مَّا

what

mā

لَيْسَ

is not

laysa

فِى

in

fī

قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ

their hearts

qulūbihim

قُلْ

Say

qul

فَمَن

Then who

faman

يَمْلِكُ

has power

yamliku

لَكُم

for you

lakum

مِّنَ

against

mina

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

l-lahi

شَيْـًٔا

(in) anything

shayan

إِنْ

if

in

أَرَادَ

He intends

arāda

بِكُمْ

for you

bikum

ضَرًّا

harm

ḍarran

أَوْ

or

aw

أَرَادَ

He intends

arāda

بِكُمْ

for you

bikum

نَفْعًۢا ۚ

a benefit

nafʿan

بَلْ

Nay

bal

كَانَ

is

kāna

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

بِمَا

of what

bimā

تَعْمَلُونَ

you do

taʿmalūna

خَبِيرًۢا

All-Aware

khabīran

١١

[¡Oh, Muhámmad!] Los beduinos que no participaron [del viaje a La Meca y del pacto de Hudaibiiah] dirán: “Nos mantuvieron ocupados nuestros bienes materiales y nuestras familias, pídele a Dios que nos perdone”. Pero solo dicen con sus lenguas lo que no sienten sus corazones. Diles: “Si Dios quisiera perjudicarles o beneficiarles, nadie podría impedirlo. Dios sabe lo que hacéis”.

ظَنَنتُمْ

you thought

ٱلرَّسُولُ

the Messenger

وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ

and the believers

wal-mu'minūna

إِلَىٰٓ

ilā

أَهْلِيهِمْ

their families

ahlīhim

أَبَدًۭا

ever

abadan

وَزُيِّنَ

that was made fair-seeming

wazuyyina

ذَٰلِكَ

that was made fair-seeming

dhālika

فِى

in

fī

قُلُوبِكُمْ

your hearts

qulūbikum

وَظَنَنتُمْ

And you assumed

waẓanantum

ظَنَّ

an assumption

ẓanna

ٱلسَّوْءِ

evil

l-sawi

وَكُنتُمْ

and you became

wakuntum

قَوْمًۢا

a people

qawman

بُورًۭا

ruined

būran

١٢

Creyeron que el Mensajero y los creyentes jamás regresarían a sus familias. Eso es lo que el demonio infundió en sus corazones, y por eso pensaron mal. Son gente que se ha arruinado a sí misma.

وَمَن

And whoever

لَّمْ

(has) not believed

يُؤْمِنۢ

(has) not believed

yu'min

بِٱللَّهِ

in Allah

bil-lahi

وَرَسُولِهِۦ

and His Messenger

فَإِنَّآ

then indeed, We

fa-innā

أَعْتَدْنَا

[We] have prepared

aʿtadnā

لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ

for the disbelievers

lil'kāfirīna

سَعِيرًۭا

a Blazing Fire

saʿīran

١٣

Quien no crea en Dios y en Su Mensajero sepa que el castigo del Infierno está reservado para los incrédulos.

And for Allah

walillahi

مُلْكُ

(is the) kingdom

mul'ku

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

(of) the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ

and the earth

wal-arḍi

يَغْفِرُ

He forgives

yaghfiru

لِمَن

whom

liman

يَشَآءُ

He wills

yashāu

وَيُعَذِّبُ

and punishes

wayuʿadhibu

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ ۚ

He wills

yashāu

وَكَانَ

And is

wakāna

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

غَفُورًۭا

Oft-Forgiving

ghafūran

رَّحِيمًۭا

Most Merciful

raḥīman

١٤

A Dios pertenece el reino de los cielos y de la Tierra, perdona a quien Él quiere y castiga a quien Él quiere. Dios es Absolvedor, Misericordioso.

Will say

ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَ

مَغَانِمَ

(the) spoils of war

لِتَأْخُذُوهَا

to take it

ذَرُونَا

Allow us

dharūnā

نَتَّبِعْكُمْ ۖ

(to) follow you

nattabiʿ'kum

يُرِيدُونَ

They wish

yurīdūna

أَن

to

an

يُبَدِّلُوا۟

change

yubaddilū

كَلَـٰمَ

(the) Words

kalāma

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

قُل

Say

qul

لَّن

Never

lan

تَتَّبِعُونَا

will you follow us

tattabiʿūnā

كَذَٰلِكُمْ

Thus

kadhālikum

قَالَ

Allah said

qāla

ٱللَّهُ

Allah said

l-lahu

مِن

before

min

قَبْلُ ۖ

before

qablu

فَسَيَقُولُونَ

Then they will say

fasayaqūlūna

بَلْ

Nay

bal

تَحْسُدُونَنَا ۚ

you envy us

taḥsudūnanā

بَلْ

Nay

bal

كَانُوا۟

they were

kānū

لَا

not

lā

يَفْقَهُونَ

understanding

yafqahūna

إِلَّا

except

illā

قَلِيلًۭا

a little

qalīlan

١٥

Cuando salgan en busca del botín, quienes no participaron [de la expedición a La Meca] dirán: “Dejadnos participar de la expedición”. Pretenden cambiar el designio de Dios. Diles [¡Oh, Muhámmad!]: “No participaréis de ella, pues así lo ha decretado Dios”. Entonces responderán: “En realidad nos tienen envidia”, pero es poco lo que comprenden.

لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَ

to those who remained behind

إِلَىٰ

ilā

قَوْمٍ

a people

أُو۟لِى

possessors of military might

بَأْسٍۢ

possessors of military might

basin

شَدِيدٍۢ

great

shadīdin

تُقَـٰتِلُونَهُمْ

you will fight them

tuqātilūnahum

أَوْ

or

aw

يُسْلِمُونَ ۖ

they will submit

yus'limūna

فَإِن

Then if

fa-in

تُطِيعُوا۟

you obey

tuṭīʿū

يُؤْتِكُمُ

Allah will give you

yu'tikumu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah will give you

l-lahu

أَجْرًا

a reward

ajran

حَسَنًۭا ۖ

good

ḥasanan

وَإِن

but if

wa-in

تَتَوَلَّوْا۟

you turn away

tatawallaw

كَمَا

as

kamā

تَوَلَّيْتُم

you turned away

tawallaytum

مِّن

before

min

قَبْلُ

before

qablu

يُعَذِّبْكُمْ

He will punish you

yuʿadhib'kum

عَذَابًا

(with) a punishment

ʿadhāban

أَلِيمًۭا

painful

alīman

١٦

Diles a los beduinos que no participaron [en la expedición a La Meca]: “Se os convocará para luchar contra un pueblo militarmente poderoso, puede que combatan o que ellos se rindan. Si obedecen, Dios os concederá una bella recompensa. Pero si desertáis, como lo hicisteis anteriormente, os dará un castigo doloroso [en el más allá]”.

And whoever

يُطِعِ

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

وَرَسُولَهُۥ

and His Messenger

warasūlahu

يُدْخِلْهُ

He will admit him

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

(to) Gardens

jannātin

تَجْرِى

flow

مِن

تَحْتِهَا

underneath them

ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ ۖ

the rivers

وَمَن

but whoever

يَتَوَلَّ

turns away

يُعَذِّبْهُ

He will punish him

عَذَابًا

(with) a punishment

ʿadhāban

أَلِيمًۭا

painful

١٧

No hay nada que reprochar al ciego, al lisiado y al enfermo [que no participan en las expediciones militares]. Quien obedezca a Dios y a Su Mensajero, Él lo introducirá en jardines por donde corren ríos. Pero a quien deserte, Dios le dará un castigo doloroso.

Certainly

the believers

يُبَايِعُونَكَ

they pledged allegiance to you

yubāyiʿūnaka

تَحْتَ

under

taḥta

ٱلشَّجَرَةِ

the tree

l-shajarati

فَعَلِمَ

and He knew

faʿalima

مَا

what

mā

فِى

(was) in

fī

قُلُوبِهِمْ

their hearts

qulūbihim

فَأَنزَلَ

so He sent down

fa-anzala

ٱلسَّكِينَةَ

the tranquility

l-sakīnata

عَلَيْهِمْ

upon them

ʿalayhim

وَأَثَـٰبَهُمْ

and rewarded them

wa-athābahum

فَتْحًۭا

(with) a victory

fatḥan

قَرِيبًۭا

near

qarīban

١٨

Dios quedó complacido con los creyentes cuando te juraron fidelidad bajo el árbol. [Él] sabía [la fe] que había en sus corazones e hizo descender el sosiego sobre ellos y los recompensó con una victoria cercana,

And spoils of war

All-Mighty

فَعَجَّلَ

and He has hastened

لَكُمْ

هَـٰذِهِۦ

this

hādhihi

وَكَفَّ

and has withheld

wakaffa

أَيْدِىَ

(the) hands

aydiya

ٱلنَّاسِ

(of) the people

l-nāsi

عَنكُمْ

from you

ʿankum

وَلِتَكُونَ

that it may be

walitakūna

ءَايَةًۭ

a sign

āyatan

لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

for the believers

lil'mu'minīna

وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ

and He may guide you

wayahdiyakum

صِرَٰطًۭا

(to the) Path

ṣirāṭan

مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا

Straight

mus'taqīman

٢٠

Dios os ha prometido que obtendréis muchos botines, y por eso os adelantó este [en Jaibar]. [Él] os ha protegido de las manos [opresoras] de alguna gente para que seáis vosotros un signo para los creyentes, yos guiará por el sendero recto.

And others

تَقْدِرُوا۟

you had power

عَلَيْهَا

over them

Allah encompassed

ٱللَّهُ

Allah encompassed

بِهَا ۚ

them

bihā

وَكَانَ

and is

wakāna

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

عَلَىٰ

over

ʿalā

كُلِّ

all

kulli

شَىْءٍۢ

things

shayin

قَدِيرًۭا

All-Powerful

qadīran

Y [también os ha prometido] otras victorias que no tienen capacidad de conseguir, pero que Dios os tiene reservadas. Dios tiene poder sobre todas las cosas.

And if

قَـٰتَلَكُمُ

fight you

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

disbelieve

لَوَلَّوُا۟

ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ

the backs

l-adbāra

ثُمَّ

Then

thumma

لَا

not

lā

يَجِدُونَ

they would find

yajidūna

وَلِيًّۭا

any protector

waliyyan

وَلَا

and not

walā

نَصِيرًۭا

any helper

naṣīran

٢٢

Sabed que aun cuando los que se negaron a creer les hubieran combatido [en Hudaibiiah], habrían huido vencidos, pues no hubieran encontrado quién les protegiera ni los defendiera.

Ese es el proceder de Dios que ha regido siempre en el pasado [de socorrer a los creyentes]. No encontrarás que el proceder de Dios cambie.

أَظْفَرَكُمْ

He gave you victory

aẓfarakum

عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ

over them

ʿalayhim

وَكَانَ

And is

wakāna

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

بِمَا

of what

bimā

تَعْمَلُونَ

you do

taʿmalūna

بَصِيرًا

All-Seer

baṣīran

٢٤

Él es Quien os protegió de las manos de vuestros enemigos y los protegió a ellos de vuestras manos en el valle de La Meca, después de haberos dado la victoria sobre ellos. Dios vio lo que hicisteis.

They

and hindered you

Al-Masjid Al-Haraam

l-masjidi

ٱلْحَرَامِ

Al-Masjid Al-Haraam

l-ḥarāmi

وَٱلْهَدْىَ

while the offering

wal-hadya

مَعْكُوفًا

(was) prevented

maʿkūfan

أَن

from

an

يَبْلُغَ

reaching

yablugha

مَحِلَّهُۥ ۚ

its place (of sacrifice)

maḥillahu

وَلَوْلَا

And if not

walawlā

رِجَالٌۭ

(for) men

rijālun

مُّؤْمِنُونَ

believing

mu'minūna

وَنِسَآءٌۭ

and women

wanisāon

مُّؤْمِنَـٰتٌۭ

believing

mu'minātun

لَّمْ

not

lam

تَعْلَمُوهُمْ

you knew them

taʿlamūhum

أَن

that

an

تَطَـُٔوهُمْ

you may trample them

taṭaūhum

فَتُصِيبَكُم

and would befall you

fatuṣībakum

مِّنْهُم

from them

min'hum

مَّعَرَّةٌۢ

any harm

maʿarratun

بِغَيْرِ

without

bighayri

عِلْمٍۢ ۖ

knowledge

ʿil'min

لِّيُدْخِلَ

That Allah may admit

liyud'khila

ٱللَّهُ

That Allah may admit

l-lahu

فِى

to

fī

رَحْمَتِهِۦ

His Mercy

raḥmatihi

مَن

whom

man

يَشَآءُ ۚ

He wills

yashāu

لَوْ

If

law

تَزَيَّلُوا۟

they had been apart

tazayyalū

لَعَذَّبْنَا

surely, We would have punished

laʿadhabnā

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

disbelieved

kafarū

مِنْهُمْ

among them

min'hum

عَذَابًا

(with) a punishment

ʿadhāban

أَلِيمًا

painful

alīman

٢٥

Ellos son los que se negaron a creer y no os dejaron llegar a la Mezquita Sagrada, impidiendo que los animales [que llevaban para sacrificarlos como ofrenda en La Meca] llegaran a su destino. De no haber sido porque podrían haber cometido un grave pecado si atacaban La Meca, matando o hiriendo sin darse cuenta a algunos hombres y mujeres creyentes que no conocían y que habitaban en ella, Dios se los habría permitido. Dios alcanza con Su misericordia a quien Él quiere. Si les hubiera sido posible diferenciarlos unos de otros, les habríamos hecho infligir un castigo doloroso a los que se negaron a creer.

حَمِيَّةَ

(the) disdain

ḥamiyyata

ٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِ

(of the time of) ignorance

l-jāhiliyati

فَأَنزَلَ

Then Allah sent down

fa-anzala

ٱللَّهُ

Then Allah sent down

l-lahu

سَكِينَتَهُۥ

His tranquility

sakīnatahu

عَلَىٰ

upon

ʿalā

رَسُولِهِۦ

His Messenger

rasūlihi

وَعَلَى

and upon

waʿalā

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

the believers

l-mu'minīna

وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ

and made them adhere

wa-alzamahum

كَلِمَةَ

(to the) word

kalimata

ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ

(of) righteousness

l-taqwā

وَكَانُوٓا۟

and they were

wakānū

أَحَقَّ

more deserving

aḥaqqa

بِهَا

of it

bihā

وَأَهْلَهَا ۚ

and worthy of it

wa-ahlahā

وَكَانَ

And is

wakāna

ٱللَّهُ

Allah

l-lahu

بِكُلِّ

of every

bikulli

شَىْءٍ

thing

shayin

عَلِيمًۭا

All-Knower

ʿalīman

٢٦

Cuando los que se negaron a creer cerraron sus corazones con una arrogancia similar a la de la época de la ignorancia [previa al Islam], Dios hizo descender el sosiego sobre Su Mensajero y sobre los creyentes, y los hizo mantenerse leales al compromiso, pues eran los más merecedores y los más dignos de él. Dios lo sabe todo.

بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ

لَتَدْخُلُنَّ

Surely, you will enter

ٱلْمَسْجِدَ

Al-Masjid Al-Haraam

l-masjida

ٱلْحَرَامَ

Al-Masjid Al-Haraam

l-ḥarāma

إِن

if

in

شَآءَ

Allah wills

shāa

ٱللَّهُ

Allah wills

l-lahu

ءَامِنِينَ

secure

āminīna

مُحَلِّقِينَ

having shaved

muḥalliqīna

رُءُوسَكُمْ

your heads

ruūsakum

وَمُقَصِّرِينَ

and shortened

wamuqaṣṣirīna

لَا

not

lā

تَخَافُونَ ۖ

fearing

takhāfūna

فَعَلِمَ

But He knew

faʿalima

مَا

what

mā

لَمْ

not

lam

تَعْلَمُوا۟

you knew

taʿlamū

فَجَعَلَ

and He made

fajaʿala

مِن

besides

min

دُونِ

besides

dūni

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

فَتْحًۭا

a victory

fatḥan

قَرِيبًا

near

qarīban

٢٧

Dios hará realidad la visión que tuvo Su Mensajero [en sueños] y vosotros entraréis en la Mezquita Sagrada, si Dios quiere, algunos con las cabezas rasuradas y otros con el cabello recortado, sin temer absolutamente nada. Dios sabe lo que vosotros ignoráis. Él os concederá, además, una victoria cercana.

He

ٱلَّذِىٓ

(is) the One Who

alladhī

أَرْسَلَ

(has) sent

arsala

رَسُولَهُۥ

His Messenger

rasūlahu

بِٱلْهُدَىٰ

with guidance

وَدِينِ

and (the) religion

wadīni

ٱلْحَقِّ

the true

l-ḥaqi

لِيُظْهِرَهُۥ

that He (may) make it prevail

liyuẓ'hirahu

عَلَى

over

ʿalā

ٱلدِّينِ

the religions

l-dīni

كُلِّهِۦ ۚ

all

kullihi

وَكَفَىٰ

And sufficient is

wakafā

بِٱللَّهِ

Allah

bil-lahi

شَهِيدًۭا

(as) a Witness

shahīdan

٢٨

Él es Quien os envió a Su Mensajero con la guía y la práctica de adoración verdadera, para que prevalezca sobre todas las demás. Dios es suficiente como testigo.

Muhammad

(are) with him

maʿahu

أَشِدَّآءُ

(are) firm

ashiddāu

عَلَى

against

ʿalā

ٱلْكُفَّارِ

the disbelievers

l-kufāri

رُحَمَآءُ

and merciful

ruḥamāu

بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ

among themselves

baynahum

تَرَىٰهُمْ

You see them

tarāhum

رُكَّعًۭا

bowing

rukkaʿan

سُجَّدًۭا

and prostrating

sujjadan

يَبْتَغُونَ

seeking

yabtaghūna

فَضْلًۭا

Bounty

faḍlan

مِّنَ

from Allah

mina

ٱللَّهِ

from Allah

l-lahi

وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا ۖ

and pleasure

wariḍ'wānan

سِيمَاهُمْ

Their mark

sīmāhum

فِى

(is) on

fī

وُجُوهِهِم

their faces

wujūhihim

مِّنْ

from

min

أَثَرِ

(the) trace

athari

ٱلسُّجُودِ ۚ

(of) the prostration

l-sujūdi

ذَٰلِكَ

That

dhālika

مَثَلُهُمْ

(is) their similitude

mathaluhum

فِى

in

fī

ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ ۚ

the Taurah

l-tawrāti

وَمَثَلُهُمْ

And their similitude

wamathaluhum

فِى

in

fī

ٱلْإِنجِيلِ

the Injeel

l-injīli

كَزَرْعٍ

(is) like a seed

kazarʿin

أَخْرَجَ

(which) sends forth

akhraja

شَطْـَٔهُۥ

its shoot

shaṭahu

فَـَٔازَرَهُۥ

then strengthens it

faāzarahu

فَٱسْتَغْلَظَ

then it becomes thick

fa-is'taghlaẓa

فَٱسْتَوَىٰ

and it stands

fa-is'tawā

عَلَىٰ

upon

ʿalā

سُوقِهِۦ

its stem

sūqihi

يُعْجِبُ

delighting

yuʿ'jibu

ٱلزُّرَّاعَ

the sowers

l-zurāʿa

لِيَغِيظَ

that He (may) enrage

liyaghīẓa

بِهِمُ

by them

bihimu

ٱلْكُفَّارَ ۗ

the disbelievers

l-kufāra

وَعَدَ

Allah has promised

waʿada

ٱللَّهُ

Allah has promised

l-lahu

ٱلَّذِينَ

those who

alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believe

āmanū

وَعَمِلُوا۟

and do

waʿamilū

ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ

righteous deeds

l-ṣāliḥāti

مِنْهُم

among them

min'hum

مَّغْفِرَةًۭ

forgiveness

maghfiratan

وَأَجْرًا

and a reward

wa-ajran

عَظِيمًۢا

great

ʿaẓīman

٢٩

Muhámmad es el Mensajero de Dios. [Los creyentes] que están con él son severos con los que se niegan a creer, pero misericordiosos entre ellos. Los verás [rezando] inclinados y prosternados, anhelando alcanzar la misericordia de Dios y Su complacencia. En sus rostros se encuentran las huellas de la prosternación. Así fueron descritos en la Torá; mientras que en el Evangelio se los compara con una semilla que germina, brota, se fortalece, cobra grosor y se afirma en su tallo, causando alegría a los sembradores. Para que se indignen los que se niegan a creer. A los que crean y obren rectamente, Dios les ha prometido el perdón y una recompensa grandiosa.
