seréis divididos en tres grupos:

Then (the) companions

fa-aṣḥābu

ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ

(of) the right

مَآ

(are the) companions

(of) the right

Los compañeros de la derecha. ¡Qué afortunados serán los compañeros de la derecha!

Gardens

ٱلنَّعِيمِ

A company

ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

the former (people)

Muchos de ellos serán de las primeras generaciones

And a few

مِّنَ

ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ

the later (people)

Tendrán lechos incrustados con oro y piedras preciosas,

Reclining

عَلَيْهَا

مُتَقَـٰبِلِينَ

Circularán entre ellos sirvientes eternamente jóvenes,

No oirán frivolidades ni incitación al pecado,

[We] have produced them

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُنَّ

And We have made them

أَبْكَارًا

virgins

Devoted

أَتْرَابًۭا

equals in age

atrāban

٣٧

amorosas y siempre con la misma edad.

(of) the right

¡Pero qué desafortunados serán los compañeros de la izquierda!

And were

And they used (to)

وَكُنَّا

and become

وَعِظَـٰمًا

and bones

waʿiẓāman

أَءِنَّا

will we

a-innā

لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

surely be resurrected

lamabʿūthūna

٤٧

y preguntaban burlándose: “¿Acaso cuando muramos y ya seamos tierra y huesos, vamos a ser resucitados?

أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا

And also our fathers

awaābāunā

ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ

former

¿Y nuestros ancestros también?”

Indeed

ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Luego, ¡oh, extraviados y desmentidores!,

Will surely eat

And will drink

aniquilaros y sustituiros [por otra generación], y resucitaros [el Día del Juicio] conforme a un proceso que desconocéis.

you take heed

Si reconocéis que habéis sido creados por primera vez, ¿por qué no reflexionáis?

¿Vosotros los hacéis germinar, o soy Yo Quien los hace germinar?

We (would) surely, make it

تَفَكَّهُونَ

wondering

٦٥

Si quisiera los convertiría en pasto seco y entonces os lamentaríais,

لَمُغْرَمُونَ

surely are laden with debt

(are) deprived

maḥrūmūna

y nos hemos quedado en la ruina”.

ٱلَّذِى

ٱلْمُنزِلُونَ

(are) the Ones to send

We (could) make it

then why are you not grateful

¿Vosotros habéis creado el árbol con el que lo encendéis o soy Yo el creador?

جَعَلْنَـٰهَا

have made it

jaʿalnāhā

تَذْكِرَةًۭ

a reminder

tadhkiratan

وَمَتَـٰعًۭا

and a provision

wamatāʿan

لِّلْمُقْوِينَ

for the wayfarers in the desert

lil'muq'wīna

٧٣

He creado el fuego para que reflexionéis, y para beneficio de los viajeros.

فَسَبِّحْ

So glorify

fasabbiḥ

بِٱسْمِ

(the) name

bi-is'mi

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

rabbika

ٱلْعَظِيمِ

the Most Great

Glorifica el nombre de tu Señor, el Grandioso.

۞ فَلَآ

But nay

falā

أُقْسِمُ

I swear

uq'simu

بِمَوَٰقِعِ

by setting

bimawāqiʿi

ٱلنُّجُومِ

(of) the stars

l-nujūmi

٧٥

¡Juro por las estrellas cuando desaparecen!

وَإِنَّهُۥ

And indeed, it

wa-innahu

لَقَسَمٌۭ

(is) surely an oath

laqasamun

لَّوْ

if

law

تَعْلَمُونَ

you know

taʿlamūna

عَظِيمٌ

great

ʿaẓīmun

Lo cual, si supieran, es un juramento grandioso.

Indeed, it

لَقُرْءَانٌۭ

(is) surely, a Quran

laqur'ānun

كَرِيمٌۭ

noble

karīmun

a Book

مَّكْنُونٍۢ

well-guarded

preservado en un libro custodiado,

touch it

إِلَّا

except

illā

ٱلْمُطَهَّرُونَ

the purified

l-muṭaharūna

تَنزِيلٌۭ

A Revelation

tanzīlun

مِّن

from

min

رَّبِّ

(the) Lord

rabbi

ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

(of) the worlds

l-ʿālamīna

٨٠

Es una revelación descendida por el Señor del universo.

أَفَبِهَـٰذَا

Then is it to this

afabihādhā

ٱلْحَدِيثِ

statement

l-ḥadīthi

أَنتُم

that you

antum

مُّدْهِنُونَ

(are) indifferent

mud'hinūna

¿A este Mensaje sois indiferentes?

And you make

watajʿalūna

رِزْقَكُمْ

your provision

riz'qakum

أَنَّكُمْ

that you

تُكَذِّبُونَ

بَلَغَتِ

it reaches

ٱلْحُلْقُومَ

Entonces, cuando [el alma] llegue hasta la garganta,

And you

wa-antum

حِينَئِذٍۢ

(at) that time

ḥīna-idhin

تَنظُرُونَ

look on

tanẓurūna

mientras vosotros estéis mirándolo,

And We

wanaḥnu

أَقْرَبُ

(are) nearer

aqrabu

إِلَيْهِ

to him

ilayhi

مِنكُمْ

than you

minkum

وَلَـٰكِن

but

walākin

لَّا

you (do) not see

lā

تُبْصِرُونَ

you (do) not see

tub'ṣirūna

٨٥

Yo estoy aún más cerca que vosotros de él, aunque no lo veáis.

Then why not

إِن

كُنتُمْ

you are

kuntum

غَيْرَ

ghayra

مَدِينِينَ

to be recompensed

Si es verdad como decís que no seréis juzgados,

he was

مِنَ

mina

ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

those brought near

Si [el agonizante] es uno de los adelantados

فَرَوْحٌۭ

Then rest

farawḥun

وَرَيْحَانٌۭ

and bounty

warayḥānun

وَجَنَّتُ

and a Garden

wajannatu

نَعِيمٍۢ

(of) Pleasure

naʿīmin

tendrá descanso, plenitud y el Jardín de las Delicias.

وَأَمَّآ

And

wa-ammā

إِن

if

in

كَانَ

he was

kāna

مِنْ

of

min

أَصْحَـٰبِ

(the) companions

aṣḥābi

ٱلْيَمِينِ

(of) the right

l-yamīni

Y si es de los compañeros de la derecha:

فَسَلَـٰمٌۭ

Then, peace

fasalāmun

لَّكَ

for you

laka

مِنْ

[from]

min

أَصْحَـٰبِ

(the) companions

aṣḥābi

ٱلْيَمِينِ

(of) the right

“La paz sea contigo, pues eres de los compañeros de la derecha”.

وَأَمَّآ

But

wa-ammā

إِن

كَانَ

he was

kāna

مِنَ

mina

ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

the deniers

l-mukadhibīna

ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

the astray

l-ḍālīna

٩٢

Pero si es de los que negaron la Verdad, de los extraviados,

فَنُزُلٌۭ

Then, hospitality

fanuzulun

مِّنْ

of

min

حَمِيمٍۢ

(the) scalding water

ḥamīmin

٩٣

será atormentado con un líquido hirviente

And burning

wataṣliyatu

جَحِيمٍ

(in) Hellfire

jaḥīmin

٩٤

y luego será arrojado al fuego del Infierno.

هَـٰذَا

this

hādhā

لَهُوَ

surely, it

lahuwa

حَقُّ

(is the) truth

ḥaqqu

ٱلْيَقِينِ

certain
