وَٱلطُّورِ

By the Mount

wal-ṭūri

١

[Juro] por el monte,

Then woe

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ

that Day

لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

to the deniers

¡Cuán desdichados serán ese día los que rechazaron la verdad!,

El día que sean empujados al fuego del Infierno,

إِنَّمَا

you are being recompensed

(for) what

كُنتُمْ

you used to

kuntum

تَعْمَلُونَ

do

taʿmalūna

١٦

Entrad en él, lo soportéis o no, será igual. Solo se os castiga por lo que obrasteis”.

Indeed

ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ

the righteous

l-mutaqīna

فِى

(will be) in

fī

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

Gardens

jannātin

وَنَعِيمٍۢ

and pleasure

wanaʿīmin

١٧

En cambio, los piadosos morarán en jardines y deleite.

فَـٰكِهِينَ

Enjoying

fākihīna

بِمَآ

in what

bimā

ءَاتَىٰهُمْ

has given them

ātāhum

رَبُّهُمْ

their Lord

rabbuhum

وَوَقَىٰهُمْ

and protected them

wawaqāhum

رَبُّهُمْ

their Lord

rabbuhum

عَذَابَ

(from the) punishment

ʿadhāba

ٱلْجَحِيمِ

(of) Hellfire

l-jaḥīmi

١٨

Disfrutando lo que su Señor les conceda. Su Señor les salvó del castigo del Infierno.

Eat

وَٱشْرَبُوا۟

and drink

wa-ish'rabū

هَنِيٓـًٔۢا

(in) satisfaction

بِمَا

تَعْمَلُونَ

do

taʿmalūna

١٩

“Comed y bebed para satisfaceros, como recompensa por vuestras obras”.

مُتَّكِـِٔينَ

Reclining

muttakiīna

عَلَىٰ

on

ʿalā

سُرُرٍۢ

thrones

sururin

مَّصْفُوفَةٍۢ ۖ

lined up

maṣfūfatin

وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم

and We will marry them

wazawwajnāhum

بِحُورٍ

to fair ones

biḥūrin

عِينٍۢ

(with) large eyes

ʿīnin

٢٠

Estarán recostados sobre sofás distribuidos en líneas, y los desposaremos con huríes de grandes ojos.

وَٱلَّذِينَ

And those who

wa-alladhīna

ءَامَنُوا۟

believed

āmanū

وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْ

and followed them

wa-ittabaʿathum

ذُرِّيَّتُهُم

their offspring

dhurriyyatuhum

بِإِيمَـٰنٍ

in faith

biīmānin

أَلْحَقْنَا

We will join

alḥaqnā

بِهِمْ

with them

bihim

ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ

their offspring

dhurriyyatahum

وَمَآ

and not

wamā

أَلَتْنَـٰهُم

We will deprive them

alatnāhum

مِّنْ

of

min

عَمَلِهِم

their deeds

ʿamalihim

مِّن

(in) any

min

شَىْءٍۢ ۚ

thing

shayin

كُلُّ

Every

kullu

ٱمْرِئٍۭ

person

im'ri-in

بِمَا

for what

bimā

كَسَبَ

he earned

kasaba

رَهِينٌۭ

(is) pledged

rahīnun

٢١

Los creyentes y sus descendientes que los hayan seguido en la fe serán reunidos, sin que se pierda ninguna de sus obras. Toda persona es responsable de sus propias acciones.

وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُم

And We will provide them

wa-amdadnāhum

بِفَـٰكِهَةٍۢ

with fruit

bifākihatin

وَلَحْمٍۢ

and meat

walaḥmin

مِّمَّا

from what

mimmā

يَشْتَهُونَ

they desire

yashtahūna

٢٢

Les agraciaremos con tanta fruta y carne como la que deseen.

يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ

They will pass to one another

yatanāzaʿūna

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

كَأْسًۭا

a cup

kasan

لَّا

no

lā

لَغْوٌۭ

ill speech

وَلَا

and no

walā

تَأْثِيمٌۭ

sin

tathīmun

٢٣

Se pasarán unos a otros una copa que no incitará a frivolidades ni pecados.

۞ وَيَطُوفُ

And will circulate

عَلَيْهِمْ

among them

ʿalayhim

غِلْمَانٌۭ

boys

ghil'mānun

لَّهُمْ

for them

lahum

كَأَنَّهُمْ

as if they (were)

ka-annahum

لُؤْلُؤٌۭ

pearls

lu'lu-on

مَّكْنُونٌۭ

well-protected

maknūnun

Serán rodeados por sirvientes, bellos como perlas guardadas.

وَأَقْبَلَ

And will approach

wa-aqbala

بَعْضُهُمْ

some of them

baʿḍuhum

عَلَىٰ

to

ʿalā

بَعْضٍۢ

others

baʿḍin

يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

inquiring

yatasāalūna

٢٥

Y [los bienaventurados] se preguntarán unos a otros.

قَالُوٓا۟

They will say

إِنَّا

Indeed, we

كُنَّا

[we] were

قَبْلُ

before

فِىٓ

among

أَهْلِنَا

our families

مُشْفِقِينَ

fearful

mush'fiqīna

٢٦

Dirán: “Cuando estábamos viviendo junto a nuestra familia, teníamos temor,

But Allah conferred favor

ٱللَّهُ

But Allah conferred favor

عَلَيْنَا

upon us

ʿalaynā

وَوَقَىٰنَا

and protected us

wawaqānā

عَذَابَ

(from the) punishment

ʿadhāba

ٱلسَّمُومِ

(of) the Scorching Fire

l-samūmi

٢٧

pero Dios nos agració y nos preservó del tormento del Fuego.

Indeed, we

كُنَّا

[we] used to

قَبْلُ

نَدْعُوهُ ۖ

call Him

إِنَّهُۥ

Indeed, He

[He]

huwa

ٱلْبَرُّ

(is) the Most Kind

ٱلرَّحِيمُ

the Most Merciful

l-raḥīmu

٢٨

A Él le suplicábamos, pues Él es el Bondadoso, el Misericordioso”.

فَذَكِّرْ

Therefore remind

فَمَآ

بِنِعْمَتِ

(are) by (the) grace

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

بِكَاهِنٍۢ

a soothsayer

bikāhinin

وَلَا

and not

walā

مَجْنُونٍ

a madman

majnūnin

٢٩

Llama al Mensaje [¡Oh, Muhámmad!], tú no eres, por la gracia de tu Señor, un adivino ni un loco.

Or

am

يَقُولُونَ

(do) they say

yaqūlūna

شَاعِرٌۭ

A poet

shāʿirun

نَّتَرَبَّصُ

we wait

natarabbaṣu

بِهِۦ

for him

bihi

رَيْبَ

a misfortune of time

rayba

ٱلْمَنُونِ

a misfortune of time

l-manūni

٣٠

O te acusan diciendo: “Es un poeta, esperemos a que le llegue la muerte”.

Say

تَرَبَّصُوا۟

Wait

tarabbaṣū

فَإِنِّى

for indeed I am

fa-innī

مَعَكُم

with you

maʿakum

مِّنَ

among

mina

ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ

those who wait

l-mutarabiṣīna

(are) a people

طَاغُونَ

transgressing

También dicen: “Él lo ha inventado”. Pero la verdad es que no creen.

فَلْيَأْتُوا۟

Then let them bring

truthful

¡Que presenten ellos un libro semejante, si es verdad lo que dicen!

the creators

٣٥

¿Acaso surgieron de la nada o son ellos sus propios creadores?

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚ

and the earth

يُوقِنُونَ

they are certain

٣٦

¿O crearon los cielos y la Tierra? No tienen certeza de nada.

(are the) treasures

the controllers

l-muṣayṭirūna

¿Acaso poseen los tesoros de tu Señor o tienen autoridad absoluta?

سُلَّمٌۭ

(is) a stairway

يَسْتَمِعُونَ

they listen

فِيهِ ۖ

Then let bring

مُسْتَمِعُهُم

their listener

mus'tamiʿuhum

بِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ

an authority

bisul'ṭānin

مُّبِينٍ

clear

mubīnin

٣٨

¿O tienen una escalera para escuchar los designios de Dios? Quien de ellos logre escuchar, que traiga una prueba clara.

ٱلْبَنَـٰتُ

(are) daughters

وَلَكُمُ

while for you

ٱلْبَنُونَ

(are) sons

¿Acaso a Dios Le pertenecen las hijas mujeres y a ellos los hijos varones?

(do) you ask from them

أَجْرًۭا

a payment

فَهُم

(are) overburdened

٤٠

¿O acaso tú [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] les pides una retribución que hace que se vean abrumados por las deudas?

ٱلْغَيْبُ

(is) the unseen

فَهُمْ

so they

يَكْتُبُونَ

write (it) down

¿O tienen el conocimiento de lo oculto y lo han registrado?

يُرِيدُونَ

(do) they intend

كَيْدًۭا ۖ

a plot

فَٱلَّذِينَ

But those who

fa-alladhīna

كَفَرُوا۟

ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ

(are in) the plot

l-makīdūna

¿O es que quieren tenderte una trampa? Los que se niegan a creer son quienes han caído en una trampa.

a god

ٱللَّهِ ۚ

Allah

ٱللَّهِ

(to) Allah

l-lahi

عَمَّا

from what

ʿammā

يُشْرِكُونَ

they associate (with Him)

yush'rikūna

٤٣

¿O acaso tienen otra divinidad además de Dios? ¡Glorificado sea Dios de cuanto Le asocian!

And if

يَرَوْا۟

they were to see

كِسْفًۭا

a portion

مِّنَ

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the sky

يَقُولُوا۟

they will say

yaqūlū

سَحَابٌۭ

Clouds

saḥābun

مَّرْكُومٌۭ

heaped up

markūmun

٤٤

Si vieran caer parte del cielo dirían: “Son solo nubes acumuladas”.

So leave them

حَتَّىٰ

يُلَـٰقُوا۟

يُصْعَقُونَ

they will faint

Déjalos, que ya les llegará el día en que quedarán paralizados de terror.

(in) anything

walā

هُمْ

يُنصَرُونَ

will be helped

وَإِنَّ

And indeed

wa-inna

لِلَّذِينَ

for those who

lilladhīna

ظَلَمُوا۟

do wrong

ẓalamū

عَذَابًۭا

(is) a punishment

ʿadhāban

دُونَ

before

dūna

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

وَلَـٰكِنَّ

but

walākinna

أَكْثَرَهُمْ

most of them

aktharahum

لَا

(do) not

lā

يَعْلَمُونَ

know

yaʿlamūna

٤٧

Los injustos sufrirán, además de este, otros castigos, pero la mayoría no lo sabe.

وَٱصْبِرْ

So be patient

wa-iṣ'bir

لِحُكْمِ

for (the) Command

liḥuk'mi

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

rabbika

فَإِنَّكَ

for indeed, you

fa-innaka

بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ

(are) in Our Eyes

bi-aʿyuninā

وَسَبِّحْ

And glorify

wasabbiḥ

بِحَمْدِ

(the) praise

biḥamdi

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

rabbika

حِينَ

when

ḥīna

تَقُومُ

you arise

taqūmu

٤٨

Ten paciencia con los designios de tu Señor, y sabe que te encuentras bajo Mis ojos. Glorifica con alabanzas a tu Señor cuando te levantes [a orar],

وَمِنَ

And of

wamina

ٱلَّيْلِ

the night

al-layli

فَسَبِّحْهُ

glorify Him

fasabbiḥ'hu

وَإِدْبَـٰرَ

and after

wa-id'bāra

ٱلنُّجُومِ

the stars

l-nujūmi

٤٩
