وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ

By the Quran

wal-qur'āni

ٱلْمَجِيدِ

the Glorious

Qaf. [Juro] por el glorioso Corán,

ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

the disbelievers

هَـٰذَا

This

hādhā

شَىْءٌ

(is) a thing

عَجِيبٌ

amazing

ʿajībun

pero los que se niegan a creer se asombran de que haya surgido un amonestador de entre ellos mismos, y dicen: “¡Esto es algo asombroso!

¿Acaso cuando hayamos muerto y nos hayamos convertido en polvo [seremos resucitados]? ¡Eso es imposible!”

وَعِندَنَا

and with Us

كِتَـٰبٌ

(is) a Book

حَفِيظٌۢ

guarded

ḥafīẓun

Yo sé lo que la tierra consumirá de ellos. Todo lo tengo registrado en un libro protegido.

بَنَيْنَـٰهَا

We structured it

banaynāhā

وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا

and adorned it

wazayyannāhā

وَمَا

and not

wamā

لَهَا

for it

lahā

مِن

any

min

فُرُوجٍۢ

rifts

furūjin

٦

¿Acaso no observan el cielo por encima de ellos, cómo lo he erigido y embellecido, y que no tiene ninguna imperfección?

And the earth

wal-arḍa

مَدَدْنَـٰهَا

We have spread it out

وَأَلْقَيْنَا

and cast

wa-alqaynā

فِيهَا

firmly set mountains

rawāsiya

وَأَنۢبَتْنَا

and We made to grow

wa-anbatnā

فِيهَا

therein

fīhā

مِن

of

min

كُلِّ

every

kulli

زَوْجٍۭ

kind

zawjin

بَهِيجٍۢ

beautiful

bahījin

٧

¿Y a la tierra, cómo la he extendido, fijado en ella montañas firmes, y he hecho brotar en ella vegetales de toda especie?,

وَذِكْرَىٰ

And We have sent down

then We made to grow

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

وَحَبَّ

and grain

waḥabba

ٱلْحَصِيدِ

(for) the harvest

l-ḥaṣīdi

٩

Hago descender del cielo agua bendita, con la que hago brotar jardines y el grano de la cosecha,

And the palms trees

wal-nakhla

بَاسِقَـٰتٍۢ

tall

لَّهَا

(are) layers

١٠

y palmeras esbeltas cubiertas de racimos [de dátiles],

A provision

لِّلْعِبَادِ ۖ

for the slaves

وَأَحْيَيْنَا

and We give life

wa-aḥyaynā

بِهِۦ

(to) a land

baldatan

مَّيْتًۭا ۚ

dead

maytan

كَذَٰلِكَ

Thus

kadhālika

ٱلْخُرُوجُ

(will be) the coming forth

como sustento para los siervos. Así como doy vida con la lluvia a la tierra árida, así los resucitaré.

Antes que ellos ya lo habían hecho el pueblo de Noé, los habitantes de Rass y Zamud,

y los habitantes de los valles boscosos y el pueblo de Tubba’. Todos desmintieron a sus Mensajeros, y entonces se cumplió Mi advertencia.

¿Acaso fallé al crearlos por primera vez? Pero a pesar de eso dudan de una nueva creación.

بِهِۦ

نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ

وَنَحْنُ

and We

أَقْرَبُ

إِلَيْهِ

to him

مِنْ

than

min

حَبْلِ

(his) jugular vein

ḥabli

ٱلْوَرِيدِ

(his) jugular vein

La trompeta será inevitablemente soplada. Ese es un día prometido.

فَبَصَرُكَ

so your sight

fabaṣaruka

ٱلْيَوْمَ

today

l-yawma

حَدِيدٌۭ

(is) sharp

ḥadīdun

٢٢

[Se le dirá:] “Fuiste indiferente a este [día]. Hoy te quito el velo que cubría tu vista y ahora puedes ver”.

And (will) say

El que lo acompañó durante su vida dirá: “Esto es lo que he registrado”.

Dirá el que le susurró toda su vida: “¡Señor nuestro! Yo no le desvié, sino que él estaba en un profundo extravío”.

the Warning

Dirá: “No discutáis ante Mí, ya os había advertido sobre esto.

Ese día le diré al Infierno: “¿Ya te has llenado?” Y exclamará: “No. ¿Aún hay más?”

¿A cuántas generaciones más poderosas que ellos he destruido en la antigüedad? Recorrieron tierras buscando escapar, pero ¿acaso se puede escapar?

surely, is a reminder

a heart

أَلْقَى

(who) gives ear

alqā

ٱلسَّمْعَ

(who) gives ear

l-samʿa

وَهُوَ

while he

wahuwa

شَهِيدٌۭ

(is) a witness

shahīdun

En esto hay un motivo de reflexión para quienes tienen uso de razón y prestan oído con una mente consciente.

And certainly

walaqad

خَلَقْنَا

We created

khalaqnā

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

and the earth

wal-arḍa

وَمَا

and whatever

wamā

بَيْنَهُمَا

(is) between both of them

baynahumā

فِى

in

fī

سِتَّةِ

six

sittati

أَيَّامٍۢ

periods

ayyāmin

وَمَا

and (did) not

wamā

مَسَّنَا

touch Us

massanā

مِن

any

min

لُّغُوبٍۢ

fatigue

lughūbin

٣٨

He creado los cielos y la Tierra y todo cuanto existe entre ambos en seis eras, sin sufrir cansancio.

فَٱصْبِرْ

So be patient

عَلَىٰ

وَسَبِّحْ

and glorify

(the) praise

biḥamdi

رَبِّكَ

(of) your Lord

rabbika

قَبْلَ

before

qabla

طُلُوعِ

(the) rising

ṭulūʿi

ٱلشَّمْسِ

(of) the sun

l-shamsi

وَقَبْلَ

and before

waqabla

ٱلْغُرُوبِ

the setting

l-ghurūbi

٣٩

Ten paciencia [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] ante sus palabras ofensivas, y glorifica con alabanzas a tu Señor antes de la salida del Sol y antes del ocaso,

ٱلَّيْلِ

the night

فَسَبِّحْهُ

glorify Him

fasabbiḥ'hu

وَأَدْبَـٰرَ

and after

wa-adbāra

Mantente siempre alerta del día que convoque el pregonero desde un lugar cercano;

بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ

يَوْمُ

(is the) Day

yawmu

ٱلْخُرُوجِ

(of) coming forth

l-khurūji

ese día todos escucharán el soplido que anuncia la verdad. Ese será el Día de la Resurrección.

Indeed, We

ٱلْمَصِيرُ

(is) the final return

Yo doy la vida y la muerte, y a Mí será el retorno.

ذَٰلِكَ

حَشْرٌ

(is) a gathering

ḥashrun

عَلَيْنَا

for Us

ʿalaynā

يَسِيرٌۭ

easy

yasīrun

Ese día la tierra se abrirá, y saldrán [de las tumbas] presurosos. Eso es fácil para Mí.

بِجَبَّارٍۢ ۖ

the one to compel

bijabbārin

فَذَكِّرْ

But remind

fadhakkir

بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ

with the Quran

bil-qur'āni

مَن

whoever

man

يَخَافُ

fears

yakhāfu

وَعِيدِ

My threat

waʿīdi

٤٥

Sé muy bien lo que dicen de ti [¡Oh, Muhámmad!]. Pero tú no puedes forzarlos a creer, solo exhórtalos con el Corán, que quien tema Mi amenaza recapacitará.
