ٱلْعَزِيزِ

That you may warn

Se ha hecho realidad la palabra de Dios sobre la mayoría de ellos, pues no están dispuestos a creer.

Indeed, We

[We] have placed

jaʿalnā

فِىٓ

on

أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ

their necks

aʿnāqihim

أَغْلَـٰلًۭا

iron collars

فَهِىَ

and they

fahiya

إِلَى

(are up) to

ilā

ٱلْأَذْقَانِ

the chins

l-adhqāni

فَهُم

so they

fahum

مُّقْمَحُونَ

(are with) heads raised up

muq'maḥūna

Les pondré en sus cuellos argollas que llegarán a sus barbillas, y sus cabezas quedarán erguidas.

وَجَعَلْنَا

And We have made

مِنۢ

their hands/their front

خَلْفِهِمْ

behind them

فَأَغْشَيْنَـٰهُمْ

and We covered them

fa-aghshaynāhum

فَهُمْ

so they

fahum

لَا

(do) not

lā

يُبْصِرُونَ

see

yub'ṣirūna

٩

Pondré ante ellos una barrera y otra detrás, y los cubriré con un velo y no podrán ver.

And it (is) same

ءَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ

whether you warn them

warn them

يُؤْمِنُونَ

they will believe

Les da lo mismo que los amonestes o no, no creerán.

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنَ

the Most Gracious

بِٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ

in the unseen

bil-ghaybi

فَبَشِّرْهُ

So give him glad tidings

fabashir'hu

بِمَغْفِرَةٍۢ

of forgiveness

bimaghfiratin

وَأَجْرٍۢ

and a reward

wa-ajrin

كَرِيمٍ

noble

karīmin

١١

Solo se beneficia con tu amonestación quien sigue el Mensaje y teme al Compasivo en su intimidad. A ellos anúnciales que obtendrán el perdón y una recompensa generosa.

Indeed, We

نَحْنُ

[We]

[We] give life

ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ

(to) the dead

وَنَكْتُبُ

and We record

wanaktubu

مَا

what

mā

قَدَّمُوا۟

they have sent before

qaddamū

وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمْ ۚ

and their footprints

waāthārahum

وَكُلَّ

and every

wakulla

شَىْءٍ

thing

shayin

أَحْصَيْنَـٰهُ

We have enumerated it

aḥṣaynāhu

فِىٓ

in

fī

إِمَامٍۢ

a Register

imāmin

مُّبِينٍۢ

clear

mubīnin

١٢

Yo soy Quien resucita a los muertos, y registro lo que hagan de bien y lo que hagan del mal; todo lo tengo mencionado en un libro claro.

وَٱضْرِبْ

And set forth

لَهُم

to them

مَّثَلًا

أَصْحَـٰبَ

(of the) companions

إِذْ

when

جَآءَهَا

came to it

ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

the Messengers

١٣

[A quienes te desmienten] menciónales el ejemplo de los habitantes de una ciudad, cuando se presentaron ante ellos los Mensajeros.

We sent

إِلَيْهِمُ

to them

ٱثْنَيْنِ

two (Messengers)

ith'nayni

فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا

but they denied both of them

fakadhabūhumā

فَعَزَّزْنَا

so We strengthened them

faʿazzaznā

بِثَالِثٍۢ

with a third

bithālithin

فَقَالُوٓا۟

and they said

faqālū

إِنَّآ

Indeed, We

innā

إِلَيْكُم

to you

ilaykum

مُّرْسَلُونَ

(are) Messengers

mur'salūna

١٤

Les envié dos Mensajeros pero los desmintieron, entonces los reforcé con un tercero. Ellos dijeron [a los habitantes de la ciudad]: “Hemos sido enviados a vosotros [por Dios]”.

human beings

أَنزَلَ

has revealed

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmānu

مِن

any

min

شَىْءٍ

thing

shayin

إِنْ

Not

in

أَنتُمْ

you

antum

إِلَّا

(are) but

illā

تَكْذِبُونَ

lying

takdhibūna

١٥

Respondieron [los incrédulos]: “vosotros no sois más que seres humanos como nosotros. El Misericordioso no ha revelado nada, vosotros sois tan solo unos mentirosos”.

They said

رَبُّنَا

Our Lord

يَعْلَمُ

knows

yaʿlamu

إِنَّآ

that we

إِلَيْكُمْ

to you

لَمُرْسَلُونَ

(are) surely Messengers

lamur'salūna

١٦

Dijeron [los Mensajeros]: “Nuestro Señor sabe que realmente somos

إِلَّا

ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ

the conveyance

ٱلْمُبِينُ

Solo somos responsables de transmitir el Mensaje de forma clara”.

They said

إِنَّا

Indeed, we

تَطَيَّرْنَا

[we] see an evil omen

taṭayyarnā

بِكُمْ ۖ

from you

bikum

لَئِن

If

la-in

لَّمْ

not

lam

تَنتَهُوا۟

you desist

tantahū

لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ

surely, we will stone you

lanarjumannakum

وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم

and surely will touch you

walayamassannakum

مِّنَّا

from us

minnā

عَذَابٌ

a punishment

ʿadhābun

أَلِيمٌۭ

painful

alīmun

١٨

Dijeron [los incrédulos]: “Tenemos un mal presagio con vosotros, y si no dejáis [de condenar la idolatría] os lapidaremos y torturaremos para causaros mucho dolor”.

They said

طَـٰٓئِرُكُم

Your evil omen

ṭāirukum

مَّعَكُمْ ۚ

(be) with you

maʿakum

أَئِن

Is it because

ذُكِّرْتُم ۚ

you are admonished

dhukkir'tum

بَلْ

Nay

bal

أَنتُمْ

you

antum

قَوْمٌۭ

(are) a people

qawmun

مُّسْرِفُونَ

transgressing

mus'rifūna

١٩

Dijeron [los Mensajeros]: “Vuestro destino [bueno o malo] depende de vosotros. Pero vosotros, por el solo hecho de que os amonestemos [diréis que os traemos mala suerte]. En realidad, sois un pueblo de transgresores”.

And came

ٱلْمَدِينَةِ

رَجُلٌۭ

قَالَ

He said

يَـٰقَوْمِ

O my People

yāqawmi

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟

Follow

ittabiʿū

ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

the Messengers

l-mur'salīna

٢٠

Entonces llegó desde un extremo de la ciudad un hombre corriendo, que dijo: “¡Oh, pueblo mío! Seguid a los Mensajeros.

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟

Follow

ittabiʿū

مَن

(those) who

لَّا

يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ

ask (of) you

yasalukum

أَجْرًۭا

any payment

وَهُم

and they

مُّهْتَدُونَ

(are) rightly guided

muh'tadūna

Seguid a quienes no os piden retribución alguna [por transmitirles el conocimiento], y están bien guiados.

وَمَا

And what

لِىَ

(is) for me

لَآ

(that) not

أَعْبُدُ

I worship

aʿbudu

ٱلَّذِى

the One Who

alladhī

فَطَرَنِى

created me

faṭaranī

وَإِلَيْهِ

and to Whom

wa-ilayhi

تُرْجَعُونَ

you will be returned

tur'jaʿūna

٢٢

¿Cómo no iba a adorar a Quien me creó, ante Él compareceréis?

Should I take

will avail

عَنِّى

[from] me

ʿannī

شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ

their intercession

shafāʿatuhum

شَيْـًۭٔا

(in) anything

shayan

وَلَا

and not

walā

يُنقِذُونِ

they (can) save me

yunqidhūni

٢٣

¿Acaso iba a tomar, en lugar de Él, a ídolos que, si el Compasivo decretara alguna adversidad para mí, su intercesión de nada me valdría ni podrían protegerme?

Indeed, I

فَٱسْمَعُونِ

so listen to me

fa-is'maʿūni

Escuchadme, yo he abrazado la fe en vuestro Señor”. [Pero su pueblo lo mató.]

يَعْلَمُونَ

yaʿlamūna

٢٦

Entonces le fue dicho: “Ingresa al Paraíso”. Dijo: “¡Ojalá mi pueblo supiera

We sent down

جُندٍۢ

host

jundin

مِّنَ

from

mina

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the heaven

l-samāi

وَمَا

and not

wamā

كُنَّا

were We

kunnā

مُنزِلِينَ

(to) send down

munzilīna

٢٨

No envié contra su pueblo, después de él, ningún ejército [de ángeles],

صَيْحَةًۭ

a shout

وَٰحِدَةًۭ

خَـٰمِدُونَ

(were) extinguished

khāmidūna

٢٩

pues fue suficiente con un único sonido desgarrador para que fueran aniquilados.

Alas

عَلَى

ʿalā

ٱلْعِبَادِ ۚ

رَّسُولٍ

Messenger

rasūlin

إِلَّا

كَانُوا۟

they did

بِهِۦ

mock at him

يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

mock at him

yastahziūna

¡Pobres de esos siervos que cada vez que se presenta ante ellos un Mensajero, se burlan de él!

We destroyed

¿Acaso no observan cuántas generaciones que los precedieron he destruido? Esos ya no volverán [a la vida mundanal].

Todos deberán comparecer ante Mí.

And a Sign

ٱلْأَرْضُ

(is) the earth

ٱلْمَيْتَةُ

أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا

We give it life

aḥyaynāhā

وَأَخْرَجْنَا

and We bring forth

wa-akhrajnā

مِنْهَا

from it

min'hā

حَبًّۭا

grain

ḥabban

فَمِنْهُ

and from it

famin'hu

يَأْكُلُونَ

they eat

yakulūna

٣٣

Un signo [que evidencia cómo es la resurrección] es la tierra árida que revivo [con lluvias] y hago brotar de ella los granos con que se alimentan.

And We placed

wajaʿalnā

فِيهَا

therein

جَنَّـٰتٍۢ

gardens

jannātin

مِّن

نَّخِيلٍۢ

date-palms

nakhīlin

وَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢ

and grapevines

wa-aʿnābin

وَفَجَّرْنَا

and We caused to gush forth

wafajjarnā

فِيهَا

in it

fīhā

مِنَ

of

mina

ٱلْعُيُونِ

the springs

l-ʿuyūni

٣٤

En ella hay jardines de palmeras y vides, e hice brotar de ella manantiales

That they may eat

ثَمَرِهِۦ

its fruit

وَمَا

And not

wamā

عَمِلَتْهُ

أَفَلَا

So will not

يَشْكُرُونَ

they be grateful

Glory be

ٱلَّذِى

(to) the One Who

خَلَقَ

created

khalaqa

ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ

(in) pairs

l-azwāja

كُلَّهَا

all

kullahā

مِمَّا

of what

mimmā

تُنۢبِتُ

grows

tunbitu

ٱلْأَرْضُ

the earth

l-arḍu

وَمِنْ

and of

wamin

أَنفُسِهِمْ

themselves

anfusihim

وَمِمَّا

and of what

wamimmā

لَا

not

lā

يَعْلَمُونَ

they know

yaʿlamūna

٣٦

Glorificado sea Aquel que creó todas las especies en pares; las que brotan de la tierra, los seres humanos y otras [criaturas] que desconocen.

وَءَايَةٌۭ

And a Sign

waāyatun

لَّهُمُ

for them

lahumu

ٱلَّيْلُ

(is) the night

al-laylu

نَسْلَخُ

We withdraw

مِنْهُ

from it

ٱلنَّهَارَ

the day

l-nahāra

فَإِذَا

Then behold

fa-idhā

هُم

They

hum

مُّظْلِمُونَ

(are) those in darkness

muẓ'limūna

٣٧

Tienen un signo [del poder divino] en la noche que le sucede al día, y quedan entonces a oscuras.

وَٱلشَّمْسُ

And the sun

wal-shamsu

تَجْرِى

runs

tajrī

لِمُسْتَقَرٍّۢ

to a term appointed

limus'taqarrin

لَّهَا ۚ

for it

lahā

ذَٰلِكَ

That

dhālika

تَقْدِيرُ

(is the) Decree

taqdīru

ٱلْعَزِيزِ

(of) the All-Mighty

l-ʿazīzi

ٱلْعَلِيمِ

the All-Knowing

l-ʿalīmi

El Sol sigue una trayectoria determinada hacia donde le fue designado por decreto del Poderoso, el que todo lo sabe.

وَٱلْقَمَرَ

And the moon

wal-qamara

قَدَّرْنَـٰهُ

We have ordained for it

qaddarnāhu

مَنَازِلَ

phases

حَتَّىٰ

كَٱلْعُرْجُونِ

like the date stalk

kal-ʿur'jūni

ٱلْقَدِيمِ

the old

l-qadīmi

وَلَا

ٱلنَّهَارِ ۚ

the day

l-nahāri

وَكُلٌّۭ

but all

wakullun

فِى

in

fī

فَلَكٍۢ

an orbit

falakin

يَسْبَحُونَ

they are floating

yasbaḥūna

No le es posible al Sol alcanzar a la Luna, ni la noche puede adelantarse al día. Cada [astro] circula en su órbita.

And a Sign

لَّهُمْ

حَمَلْنَا

We carried

فِى

fī

ٱلْفُلْكِ

the ship

l-ful'ki

ٱلْمَشْحُونِ

laden

l-mashḥūni

Otro signo [del poder divino] es que a sus descendientes los transporté en una barca cargada.

And We created

wakhalaqnā

لَهُم

for them

مِّن

مِّثْلِهِۦ

(the) likes of it

Y creé para ellos otras [barcas] en las que se embarcan.

We will

نُغْرِقْهُمْ

We could drown them

فَلَا

صَرِيخَ

(would be) a responder to a cry

وَلَا

and not

walā

هُمْ

they

hum

يُنقَذُونَ

would be saved

Si hubiera querido habría hecho que se ahogaran, y nadie podría haberlos socorrido ni ayudado,

aydīkum

وَمَا

and what

wamā

خَلْفَكُمْ

(is) behind you

khalfakum

لَعَلَّكُمْ

so that you may

laʿallakum

تُرْحَمُونَ

receive mercy

tur'ḥamūna

٤٥

Cuando se les dice: “Tened precaución de lo que pueda aconteceros ahora [de castigo en este mundo] y [del castigo] en la otra vida, quizá así alcancéis la misericordia [de Dios]”.

تَأْتِيهِم

comes to them

a Sign

ءَامَنُوٓا۟

believed

أَنُطْعِمُ

Should we feed

anuṭ'ʿimu

مَن

whom

man

لَّوْ

if

law

يَشَآءُ

Allah willed

yashāu

ٱللَّهُ

Allah willed

l-lahu

أَطْعَمَهُۥٓ

He would have fed him

aṭʿamahu

إِنْ

Not

in

أَنتُمْ

(are) you

antum

إِلَّا

except

illā

فِى

in

fī

ضَلَـٰلٍۢ

an error

ḍalālin

مُّبِينٍۢ

clear

mubīnin

٤٧

Cuando se les dice: “Dad caridades de lo que Dios os ha provisto”, dicen los incrédulos a los creyentes: “¿Acaso tenemos que alimentar a quienes, si Dios quisiera, Él mismo alimentaría?” Están en un error evidente.

وَيَقُولُونَ

And they say

wayaqūlūna

مَتَىٰ

When (is)

matā

هَـٰذَا

this

hādhā

ٱلْوَعْدُ

promise

l-waʿdu

إِن

if

in

كُنتُمْ

you are

kuntum

صَـٰدِقِينَ

truthful

ṣādiqīna

٤٨

Y dicen [desafiantes]: “¿Cuándo se cumplirá esta advertencia, si es verdad lo que dices?”

يَنظُرُونَ

they await

yanẓurūna

إِلَّا

except

صَيْحَةًۭ

a shout

ṣayḥatan

وَٰحِدَةًۭ

it will seize them

takhudhuhum

وَهُمْ

while they

wahum

يَخِصِّمُونَ

are disputing

yakhiṣṣimūna

٤٩

No les espera sino que un solo clamor les sorprenda mientras están discutiendo.

Then not

يَسْتَطِيعُونَ

they will be able

yastaṭīʿūna

تَوْصِيَةًۭ

(to) make a will

tawṣiyatan

وَلَآ

and not

walā

إِلَىٰٓ

أَهْلِهِمْ

their people

ahlihim

يَرْجِعُونَ

they (can) return

yarjiʿūna

٥٠

[Cuando eso suceda] no tendrán tiempo siquiera para dar una indicación, y tampoco podrán retornar con los suyos.

And will be blown

فِى

ٱلصُّورِ

the trumpet

فَإِذَا

and behold

fa-idhā

هُم

They

hum

مِّنَ

ٱلْأَجْدَاثِ

the graves

l-ajdāthi

إِلَىٰ

to

ilā

رَبِّهِمْ

their Lord

rabbihim

يَنسِلُونَ

[they] will hasten

yansilūna

Cuando se sople la trompeta [por segunda vez], saldrán de sus tumbas hacia su Señor.

They [will] say

يَـٰوَيْلَنَا

O woe to us

yāwaylanā

مَنۢ

Who

man

بَعَثَنَا

has raised us

baʿathanā

مِن

from

مَّرْقَدِنَا ۜ ۗ

our sleeping place

marqadinā

هَـٰذَا

This (is)

hādhā

مَا

What

mā

وَعَدَ

(had) promised

waʿada

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ

the Most Gracious

l-raḥmānu

وَصَدَقَ

and told (the) truth

waṣadaqa

ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ

the Messengers

l-mur'salūna

٥٢

Dirán: “¡Ay de nosotros! ¿Qué nos hizo surgir de nuestro lecho?” [Se les dirá:] “Eso fue lo que os prometió el Misericordioso, los Mensajeros les decían la verdad”.

صَيْحَةًۭ

a shout

وَٰحِدَةًۭ

جَمِيعٌۭ

all

jamīʿun

لَّدَيْنَا

before Us

ladaynā

مُحْضَرُونَ

(will be) brought

muḥ'ḍarūna

٥٣

No habrá más que un solo soplido [de la trompeta para marcar la resurrección], todos ellos deberán comparecer ante Mí.

So this Day

لَا

تُظْلَمُ

will be wronged

tuẓ'lamu

نَفْسٌۭ

a soul

nafsun

شَيْـًۭٔا

(in) anything

and not

walā

تُجْزَوْنَ

you will be recompensed

tuj'zawna

إِلَّا

except

illā

مَا

(for) what

mā

كُنتُمْ

you used (to)

kuntum

تَعْمَلُونَ

do

taʿmalūna

٥٤

Ese día ningún alma será tratada injustamente, solo serán juzgados acorde a las obras que realizaron.

Indeed

أَصْحَـٰبَ

(the) companions

aṣḥāba

ٱلْجَنَّةِ

(of) Paradise

ٱلْيَوْمَ

this Day

will be occupied

shughulin

فَـٰكِهُونَ

(in) amusement

fākihūna

٥٥

La gente del Paraíso, ese día, estarán despreocupados, disfrutando.

and their spouses

فِى

مُتَّكِـُٔونَ

reclining

muttakiūna

Ellos y sus cónyuges estarán a la sombra, reclinados sobre sofás.

فَـٰكِهَةٌۭ

(are) fruits

وَلَهُم

and for them

مَّا

(is) whatever

Allí tendrán frutos, y todo lo que pidan.

Peace

“¡La paz sea con vosotros!”, serán las palabras del Señor Misericordioso.

But stand apart

ٱلْيَوْمَ

O criminals

ayyuhā

ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ

O criminals

¡Oh, transgresores! Hoy, por lo que habéis hecho, estaréis lejos [de los creyentes].

Did not

أَعْهَدْ

I enjoin

aʿhad

إِلَيْكُمْ

upon you

ilaykum

يَـٰبَنِىٓ

O Children of Adam

yābanī

ءَادَمَ

O Children of Adam

أَن

That

an

لَّا

(do) not

lā

تَعْبُدُوا۟

worship

taʿbudū

ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنَ ۖ

the Shaitaan

l-shayṭāna

إِنَّهُۥ

indeed, he

innahu

لَكُمْ

(is) for you

lakum

عَدُوٌّۭ

an enemy

ʿaduwwun

مُّبِينٌۭ

clear

mubīnun

٦٠

¿Acaso no tomasteis un compromiso conmigo, ¡oh, hijos de Adán!, de no obedecer ni adorar al demonio, que es vuestro enemigo declarado,

And that

wa-ani

ٱعْبُدُونِى ۚ

you worship Me

uʿ'budūnī

هَـٰذَا

This

hādhā

صِرَٰطٌۭ

(is) a Path

ṣirāṭun

مُّسْتَقِيمٌۭ

Straight

mus'taqīmun

٦١

y de que Me adoraríais [solo a Mí]? Este es el sendero recto [que debíais seguir].

And indeed

walaqad

أَضَلَّ

he led astray

مِنكُمْ

from you

جِبِلًّۭا

a multitude

كَثِيرًا ۖ

great

Then did not

afalam

تَكُونُوا۟

you

takūnū

تَعْقِلُونَ

use reason

taʿqilūna

٦٢

Pero él [el demonio] desvió a muchos de vosotros. ¿Por qué no reflexionáis?

جَهَنَّمُ

(the) Hell

and will speak to Us

watukallimunā

أَيْدِيهِمْ

their hands

aydīhim

وَتَشْهَدُ

and will bear witness

watashhadu

أَرْجُلُهُم

their feet

arjuluhum

بِمَا

about what

bimā

كَانُوا۟

they used to

kānū

يَكْسِبُونَ

earn

yaksibūna

٦٥

Hoy sellaré sus bocas y serán sus manos las que me hablen, y sus pies darán testimonio de lo que cometieron.

وَلَوْ

And if

نَشَآءُ

We willed

nashāu

لَطَمَسْنَا

We (would have) surely obliterated

laṭamasnā

عَلَىٰٓ

[over]

ʿalā

أَعْيُنِهِمْ

their eyes

aʿyunihim

فَٱسْتَبَقُوا۟

then they (would) race

fa-is'tabaqū

ٱلصِّرَٰطَ

(to find) the path

l-ṣirāṭa

فَأَنَّىٰ

then how

fa-annā

يُبْصِرُونَ

(could) they see

yub'ṣirūna

٦٦

Si quisiera les cegaría, pero aunque se precipitaran [por encontrar] el camino, ¿cómo podrían ver?

وَلَوْ

And if

نَشَآءُ

We willed

nashāu

لَمَسَخْنَـٰهُمْ

surely, We (would have) transformed them

lamasakhnāhum

عَلَىٰ

in

ʿalā

مَكَانَتِهِمْ

their places

makānatihim

فَمَا

then not

famā

ٱسْتَطَـٰعُوا۟

they would have been able

is'taṭāʿū

مُضِيًّۭا

to proceed

muḍiyyan

وَلَا

and not

walā

يَرْجِعُونَ

return

yarjiʿūna

٦٧

Si quisiera les habría inmovilizado en sus lugares y no podrían avanzar ni retroceder.

And (he) whom

نُّعَمِّرْهُ

We grant him long life

nuʿammir'hu

نُنَكِّسْهُ

We reverse him

nunakkis'hu

فِى

ٱلْخَلْقِ ۖ

أَفَلَا

Then will not

afalā

يَعْقِلُونَ

they use intellect

yaʿqilūna

٦٨

A quien le concedo una vida larga, hago que se vuelva débil [como cuando era pequeño]. ¿Acaso no van a reflexionar?

عَلَّمْنَـٰهُ

We taught him

ٱلشِّعْرَ

لَهُۥٓ ۚ

إِنْ

إِلَّا

(is) except

ذِكْرٌۭ

a Reminder

dhik'run

وَقُرْءَانٌۭ

and a Quran

waqur'ānun

مُّبِينٌۭ

clear

mubīnun

٦٩

No le enseñé [al Profeta Muhámmad] la poesía, porque no es apropiada para él. [Lo que él recita] es un recuerdo [de Dios] y una recitación clara,

To warn

the disbelievers

una amonestación para quien tenga un corazón vivo, y también una evidencia contra los que se niegan a creer [en él].

يَرَوْا۟

they see

that We

have made

ʿamilat

أَيْدِينَآ

Our hands

aydīnā

أَنْعَـٰمًۭا

cattle

anʿāman

فَهُمْ

then they

fahum

لَهَا

[for them]

lahā

مَـٰلِكُونَ

(are the) owners

mālikūna

٧١

¿Acaso no recapacitan en que he creado con Mis manos para ellos los

وَذَلَّلْنَـٰهَا

And We have tamed them

wadhallalnāhā

لَهُمْ

for them

lahum

فَمِنْهَا

so some of them

famin'hā

رَكُوبُهُمْ

they ride them

rakūbuhum

وَمِنْهَا

and some of them

wamin'hā

يَأْكُلُونَ

they eat

yakulūna

٧٢

Los he hecho dóciles para ellos, les sirven para montar y como alimento,

And for them

walahum

فِيهَا

therein

مَنَـٰفِعُ

(are) benefits

manāfiʿu

وَمَشَارِبُ ۖ

and drinks

wamashāribu

أَفَلَا

يَشْكُرُونَ

they give thanks

yashkurūna

٧٣

obtienen de ellos otros beneficios, y [de ellos extraen leche] para beber. ¿Es que no van a ser agradecidos?

But they have taken

that they may

laʿallahum

يُنصَرُونَ

be helped

yunṣarūna

Pero toman falsas divinidades, en lugar de Dios, para que les socorran.

مُّحْضَرُونَ

(who will) be brought

muḥ'ḍarūna

Las divinidades no podrán siquiera socorrerse a sí mismas, y en realidad sus seguidores son soldados a su disposición.

grieve you

قَوْلُهُمْ ۘ

Indeed, We

يُسِرُّونَ

they conceal

yusirrūna

وَمَا

and what

wamā

يُعْلِنُونَ

they declare

yuʿ'linūna

Que no te apene lo que dicen, bien sabemos lo que murmuran [en secreto] y lo que dicen abiertamente.

ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ

[the] man

أَنَّا

that We

خَلَقْنَـٰهُ

نُّطْفَةٍۢ

a semen-drop

nuṭ'fatin

فَإِذَا

Then behold

fa-idhā

هُوَ

He

huwa

¿Es que no ve el ser humano [que niega la Resurrección] que le he creado de un óvulo fecundado? Sin embargo, él insiste en discutir [el poder divino].

And he sets forth

يُحْىِ

will give life

yuḥ'yī

ٱلْعِظَـٰمَ

(to) the bones

l-ʿiẓāma

وَهِىَ

while they

wahiya

رَمِيمٌۭ

(are) decomposed

ramīmun

Y [este incrédulo] nos compara [con un ser creado] olvidando cómo ha sido creado él mismo, y dice: “¿Quién dará vida a los huesos cuando estén ya carcomidos?”

All-Knower

Dile [¡Oh, Muhámmad!]: “Les dará vida Quien los creó por primera vez, pues Él tiene conocimiento de todos los pasos de la creación.

The One Who

لَكُم

ٱلشَّجَرِ

ٱلْأَخْضَرِ

نَارًۭا

fire

nāran

فَإِذَآ

and behold

fa-idhā

أَنتُم

You

antum

مِّنْهُ

from it

تُوقِدُونَ

ignite

tūqidūna

أَوَلَيْسَ

Is it not

awalaysa

ٱلَّذِى

(He) Who

alladhī

خَلَقَ

khalaqa

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ

the heavens

l-samāwāti

وَٱلْأَرْضَ

and the earth

wal-arḍa

بِقَـٰدِرٍ

Able

biqādirin

عَلَىٰٓ

to

ʿalā

أَن

[that]

an

يَخْلُقَ

create

yakhluqa

مِثْلَهُم ۚ

(the) like of them

mith'lahum

بَلَىٰ

Yes, indeed

balā

وَهُوَ

and He

wahuwa

ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ

(is) the Supreme Creator

l-khalāqu

ٱلْعَلِيمُ

the All-Knower

l-ʿalīmu

٨١

¿Acaso Quien creó los cielos y la Tierra no va a poder crearos nuevamente? ¡Sí! [Puede] Porque Él es el Creador, el que lo sabe todo.

So glory be

fasub'ḥāna

ٱلَّذِى

(to) the One who

alladhī

بِيَدِهِۦ

in Whose hand

biyadihi

مَلَكُوتُ

is (the) dominion

malakūtu

كُلِّ

(of) all

kulli

شَىْءٍۢ

things

shayin

وَإِلَيْهِ

and to Him

wa-ilayhi

تُرْجَعُونَ

you will be returned

tur'jaʿūna

٨٣
