And be patient wa-iṣ'bir yourself nafsaka with maʿa those who alladhīna call yadʿūna their Lord rabbahum in the morning bil-ghadati and the evening wal-ʿashiyi desiring yurīdūna His Face wajhahu And (let) not walā pass beyond taʿdu your eyes ʿaynāka over them ʿanhum desiring turīdu adornment zīnata (of) the life l-ḥayati (of) the world l-dun'yā and (do) not walā obey tuṭiʿ whom man We have made heedless aghfalnā his heart qalbahu of ʿan Our remembrance dhik'rinā and follows wa-ittabaʿa his desires hawāhu and is wakāna his affair amruhu (in) excess furuṭan
And say waquli The truth l-ḥaqu (is) from min your Lord rabbikum so whoever faman wills shāa let him believe falyu'min and whoever waman wills shāa let him disbelieve falyakfur Indeed, We innā have prepared aʿtadnā for the wrongdoers lilẓẓālimīna a Fire nāran will surround aḥāṭa them bihim its walls surādiquhā And if wa-in they call for relief yastaghīthū they will be relieved yughāthū with water bimāin like molten brass kal-muh'li (which) scalds yashwī the faces l-wujūha Wretched bi'sa (is) the drink l-sharābu and evil wasāat (is) the resting place mur'tafaqan
Indeed inna those who alladhīna believed āmanū and did waʿamilū the good deeds l-ṣāliḥāti indeed, We innā will not let go waste lā will not let go waste nuḍīʿu (the) reward ajra (of one) who man does good aḥsana deeds ʿamalan
Those ulāika for them lahum (are) Gardens jannātu of Eden ʿadnin flows tajrī from min underneath them taḥtihimu the rivers l-anhāru They will be adorned yuḥallawna therein fīhā [of] (with) min bracelets asāwira of min gold dhahabin and will wear wayalbasūna garments thiyāban green khuḍ'ran of min fine silk sundusin and heavy brocade wa-is'tabraqin reclining muttakiīna therein fīhā on ʿalā adorned couches l-arāiki Excellent niʿ'ma (is) the reward l-thawābu and good waḥasunat (is) the resting place mur'tafaqan
And set forth wa-iḍ'rib to them lahum the example mathalan of two men: rajulayni We provided jaʿalnā for one of them li-aḥadihimā two gardens jannatayni of min grapes aʿnābin and We bordered them waḥafafnāhumā with date-palms binakhlin and We placed wajaʿalnā between both of them baynahumā crops zarʿan
Each kil'tā (of) the two gardens l-janatayni brought forth ātat its produce ukulahā and not walam did wrong taẓlim of it min'hu anything shayan And We caused to gush forth wafajjarnā within them khilālahumā a river naharan
And was wakāna for him lahu fruit thamarun so he said faqāla to his companion liṣāḥibihi while he wahuwa (was) talking with him yuḥāwiruhu I am anā greater aktharu than you minka (in) wealth mālan and stronger wa-aʿazzu (in) men nafaran
