And he entered wadakhala his garden jannatahu while he wahuwa (was) unjust ẓālimun to himself linafsihi He said qāla Not mā I think aẓunnu that an will perish tabīda this hādhihi ever abadan
And not wamā I think aẓunnu the Hour l-sāʿata will occur qāimatan And if wala-in I am brought back rudidttu to ilā my Lord rabbī I will surely find la-ajidanna better khayran than this min'hā (as) a return munqalaban
Said qāla to him lahu his companion ṣāḥibuhu while he wahuwa was talking to him yuḥāwiruhu Do you disbelieve akafarta in One Who bi-alladhī created you khalaqaka from min dust turābin then thumma from min a minute quantity of semen nuṭ'fatin then thumma fashioned you sawwāka (into) a man rajulan
But as for me lākinnā He huwa (is) Allah l-lahu my Lord rabbī and not walā I associate ush'riku with my Lord birabbī anyone aḥadan
And why (did you) not walawlā when idh you entered dakhalta your garden jannataka say qul'ta What mā wills shāa Allah l-lahu (there is) no lā power quwwata except illā with Allah bil-lahi If in you see me tarani (me) anā lesser aqalla than you minka (in) wealth mālan and children wawaladan
It may be faʿasā that my Lord rabbī that my Lord an will give me yu'tiyani better khayran than min your garden jannatika and will send wayur'sila upon it ʿalayhā a calamity ḥus'bānan from mina the sky l-samāi then it will become fatuṣ'biḥa ground ṣaʿīdan slippery zalaqan
Or aw will become yuṣ'biḥa its water māuhā sunken ghawran so never falan you will be able tastaṭīʿa to find it lahu to find it ṭalaban
And were surrounded wa-uḥīṭa his fruits bithamarihi so he began fa-aṣbaḥa twisting yuqallibu his hands kaffayhi over ʿalā what mā he (had) spent anfaqa on it fīhā while it (had) wahiya collapsed khāwiyatun on ʿalā its trellises ʿurūshihā and he said wayaqūlu Oh! I wish yālaytanī I had not associated lam I had not associated ush'rik with my Lord birabbī anyone aḥadan
And not walam was takun for him lahu a group fi-atun (to) help him yanṣurūnahu other than min other than dūni Allah l-lahi and not wamā was kāna (he) supported muntaṣiran
There hunālika the protection l-walāyatu (is) from Allah lillahi the True l-ḥaqi He huwa (is the) best khayrun (to) reward thawāban and (the) best wakhayrun (for) the final end ʿuq'ban
And present wa-iḍ'rib to them lahum the example mathala (of) the life l-ḥayati (of) the world l-dun'yā like water kamāin which We send down anzalnāhu from mina the sky l-samāi then mingles fa-ikh'talaṭa with it bihi (the) vegetation nabātu (of) the earth l-arḍi then becomes fa-aṣbaḥa dry stalks hashīman it (is) scattered tadhrūhu (by) the winds l-riyāḥu And Allah wakāna And Allah l-lahu over ʿalā every kulli thing shayin (is) All Able muq'tadiran
