(is) All-Aware

¿Acaso no veis que Dios inserta la noche en el día y el día en la noche, y ha sometido al Sol y a la Luna haciendo que cada uno recorra [su órbita] hasta un plazo prefijado? Dios está bien informado de lo que hacéis.

Dios es la Verdad, y todo lo que invocáis fuera de Él es falso. Dios es el Sublime, el Supremo.

surely (are) Signs

لِّكُلِّ

for everyone

صَبَّارٍۢ

(who is) patient

ṣabbārin

شَكُورٍۢ

grateful

shakūrin

¿Acaso no veis que los barcos navegan en el mar por la gracia de Dios? Es una muestra de Sus signos. En ello hay señales para quien es perseverante y agradecido.

فَلَمَّا

نَجَّىٰهُمْ

He delivers them

najjāhum

إِلَى

ilā

ٱلْبَرِّ

the land

l-bari

فَمِنْهُم

then among them

famin'hum

مُّقْتَصِدٌۭ ۚ

(some are) moderate

muq'taṣidun

وَمَا

And not

wamā

يَجْحَدُ

deny

yajḥadu

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ

Our Signs

biāyātinā

إِلَّا

except

illā

كُلُّ

every

kullu

خَتَّارٍۢ

traitor

khattārin

كَفُورٍۢ

ungrateful

kafūrin

٣٢

[Sucede que] cuando olas como montañas os envuelven [durante una tormenta en el mar], invocáis a Dios y prometéis adorarlo solo a Él; pero cuando [Dios] os pone a salvo llevándoos a tierra firme, algunos de ellos solo cumplen parte de su promesa. Sabed que solo niegan Mis signos los pérfidos y los ingratos.

وَالِدٌ

عَن

وَلَدِهِۦ

his son

وَلَا

walā

مَوْلُودٌ

a son

mawlūdun

هُوَ

he

huwa

جَازٍ

(can) avail

jāzin

عَن

[for]

ʿan

وَالِدِهِۦ

his father

wālidihi

شَيْـًٔا ۚ

anything

shayan

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

وَعْدَ

(the) Promise

waʿda

ٱللَّهِ

(of) Allah

l-lahi

حَقٌّۭ ۖ

(is) True

ḥaqqun

فَلَا

so let not deceive you

falā

تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ

so let not deceive you

taghurrannakumu

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ

the life

l-ḥayatu

ٱلدُّنْيَا

(of) the world

l-dun'yā

وَلَا

and let not deceive you

walā

يَغُرَّنَّكُم

and let not deceive you

yaghurrannakum

بِٱللَّهِ

about Allah

bil-lahi

ٱلْغَرُورُ

the deceiver

l-gharūru

٣٣

¡Oh, gente! Temed a vuestro Señor y [temed] el día en el que ningún padre podrá cargar las faltas de su hijo y ningún hijo podrá cargar las faltas de su padre. Lo que Dios promete se cumple. Que no os seduzcan los placeres de la vida mundanal ni os engañe el Seductor [el demonio], alejándoos de Dios.

وَيَعْلَمُ

مَا

ٱلْأَرْحَامِ ۖ

the wombs

l-arḥāmi

وَمَا

تَدْرِى

knows

tadrī

نَفْسٌۭ

any soul

nafsun

مَّاذَا

تَكْسِبُ

it will earn

taksibu

غَدًۭا ۖ

tomorrow

ghadan

وَمَا

and not

wamā

تَدْرِى

knows

tadrī

نَفْسٌۢ

any soul

nafsun

بِأَىِّ

in what

bi-ayyi

أَرْضٍۢ

land

arḍin

تَمُوتُ ۚ

it will die

tamūtu

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

l-laha

عَلِيمٌ

(is) All-Knower

ʿalīmun

خَبِيرٌۢ

All-Aware

khabīrun

Solo Dios sabe cuándo llegará la hora [el Día del Juicio], cuándo hará descender lluvia y qué encierra el útero; nadie sabe qué le deparará el día siguiente ni en qué tierra ha de morir. Dios lo sabe todo y está bien informado de lo que vosotros hacéis.
