لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ So as to deny liyakfurū that which bimā We have given them ātaynāhum Then enjoy yourselves fatamattaʿū soon fasawfa you will know taʿlamūna
y no agradecéis cuanto os ha concedido. Disfrutad [transitoriamente, que] pronto sabréis.
وَيَجْعَلُونَ And they assign wayajʿalūna to what limā not lā they know yaʿlamūna a portion naṣīban of what mimmā We have provided them razaqnāhum By Allah tal-lahi surely you will be asked latus'alunna about what ʿammā you used (to) kuntum invent taftarūna
Ofrecen una parte de cuanto Dios les concede a sus ídolos, y no saben que ellos no pueden perjudicarlos ni beneficiarlos. ¡Por Dios! Seréis interrogados sobre lo que inventáis.
وَيَجْعَلُونَ And they assign wayajʿalūna to Allah lillahi daughters l-banāti Glory be to Him sub'ḥānahu And for them walahum (is) what mā they desire yashtahūna
¡Glorificado sea Dios! Le atribuyen hijas, pero solo desean para sí mismos los hijos varones.
وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā is given good news bushira (to) one of them aḥaduhum of a female bil-unthā turns ẓalla his face wajhuhu dark mus'waddan and he wahuwa suppresses grief kaẓīmun
Cuando se le anuncia a uno de ellos [el nacimiento de] una niña, se refleja en su rostro la aflicción y la angustia
يَتَوَٰرَىٰ He hides himself yatawārā from mina the people l-qawmi (because) of min the evil sūi of what mā he has been given good news bushira about bihi Should he keep it ayum'sikuhu in ʿalā humiliation hūnin or am bury it yadussuhu in fī the dust l-turābi Unquestionably alā evil sāa (is) what mā they decide yaḥkumūna
por lo que se le ha anunciado, se esconde de la gente avergonzado y duda si la dejará vivir a pesar de su deshonra o la enterrará viva. ¡Qué pésimo es lo que hacen!
لِلَّذِينَ For those who lilladhīna (do) not lā believe yu'minūna in the Hereafter bil-ākhirati (is) a similitude mathalu (of) the evil l-sawi and for Allah walillahi (is) the similitude l-mathalu the Highest l-aʿlā And He wahuwa (is) the All-Mighty l-ʿazīzu All-Wise l-ḥakīmu
Quienes no creen en la otra vida son el peor ejemplo [de ignorancia e incredulidad], y Dios es el más sublime ejemplo [de perfección absoluta]. Él es el Poderoso, el Sabio.
وَلَوْ And if walaw Allah were to seize yuākhidhu Allah were to seize l-lahu the mankind l-nāsa for their wrongdoing biẓul'mihim not mā He (would) have left taraka upon it ʿalayhā any min moving creature dābbatin but walākin He defers them yu-akhiruhum for ilā a term ajalin appointed musamman Then when fa-idhā comes jāa their terms ajaluhum not lā they (will) remain behind yastakhirūna an hour sāʿatan and not walā they can advance (it) yastaqdimūna
Si Dios castigara inmediatamente a la gente por sus injusticias, no dejaría ningún ser vivo sobre la faz de la Tierra. Pero les da una prórroga por un plazo determinado y, cuando venza su plazo, no podrán retrasarlo ni adelantarlo ni siquiera un instante.
وَيَجْعَلُونَ And they assign wayajʿalūna to Allah lillahi what mā they dislike yakrahūna and assert wataṣifu their tongues alsinatuhumu the lie l-kadhiba that anna for them lahumu (is) the best l-ḥus'nā No lā doubt jarama that anna for them lahumu (is) the Fire l-nāra and that they wa-annahum (will) be abandoned muf'raṭūna
Le atribuyen a Dios lo que detestan para sí mismos e inventan mentiras diciendo que alcanzarán el bienestar [en esta vida y en la otra]. Ellos serán los primeros en ser arrojados al Fuego.
تَٱللَّهِ By Allah tal-lahi certainly laqad We have sent arsalnā to ilā nations umamin before you min before you qablika but made fair-seeming fazayyana to them lahumu the Shaitaan l-shayṭānu their deeds aʿmālahum So he fahuwa (is) their ally waliyyuhumu today l-yawma and for them walahum (is) a punishment ʿadhābun painful alīmun
Yo, Dios, juro por Mí mismo que envié Mensajeros a las naciones que te precedieron [¡Oh, Muhámmad!], pero el demonio les hizo ver sus malas acciones como buenas. Él es su aliado en esta vida, pero en la otra recibirán un castigo doloroso.
وَمَآ And not wamā We revealed anzalnā to you ʿalayka the Book l-kitāba except illā that you make clear litubayyina to them lahumu that which alladhī they differed ikh'talafū in it fīhi and (as) a guidance wahudan and mercy waraḥmatan for a people liqawmin who believe yu'minūna
No te he revelado el Libro [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] sino para que les aclares aquello sobre lo que discrepaban, como guía y misericordia para los creyentes.
