وَمَآ And not wamā We sent arsalnā before you min before you qablika except illā men rijālan We revealed nūḥī to them ilayhim so ask fasalū (the) people ahla (of) the Reminder l-dhik'ri if in you kuntum (do) not lā know taʿlamūna
No envié antes de ti sino hombres a quienes les transmitía Mi revelación. ¡Consultad a la gente de conocimiento lo que no sepáis!
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ With the clear proofs bil-bayināti and the Books wal-zuburi And We sent down wa-anzalnā to you ilayka the Remembrance l-dhik'ra that you may make clear litubayyina to the mankind lilnnāsi what mā has been sent down nuzzila to them ilayhim and that they may walaʿallahum reflect yatafakkarūna
Les envié con evidencias claras y con Libros revelados. Y a ti [¡Oh, Muhámmad!] te he revelado el conocimiento [de la Sunnah] para que expliques a la gente la revelación [el Corán] que habían recibido, para que así reflexionen.
أَفَأَمِنَ Do then feel secure afa-amina those who alladhīna plotted makarū the evil deeds l-sayiāti that an Allah will cave yakhsifa Allah will cave l-lahu with them bihimu the earth l-arḍa or aw will come to them yatiyahumu the punishment l-ʿadhābu from min where ḥaythu not lā they perceive yashʿurūna
¿Acaso quienes se confabularon [contra el Profeta] se sienten a salvo de que Dios les haga tragar por la tierra, o de que les llegue el castigo por donde menos lo esperan?
أَوْ Or aw that He may seize them yakhudhahum in fī their going to and fro taqallubihim then not famā they hum will be able to escape bimuʿ'jizīna
¿O de que les alcance una lenta decadencia? Vuestro Señor es Compasivo, Misericordioso [y no os adelantará el castigo].
أَوْ Or aw that He may seize them yakhudhahum with ʿalā a gradual wasting takhawwufin But indeed fa-inna your Lord rabbakum (is) surely Full of Kindness laraūfun Most Merciful raḥīmun
¿O de que los alcance una lenta decadencia? Su Señor es Compasivo, Misericordioso [y no les adelantará el castigo].
أَوَلَمْ Have not awalam they seen yaraw [towards] ilā what mā Allah has created khalaqa Allah has created l-lahu from min a thing shayin Incline yatafayya-u their shadows ẓilāluhu to ʿani the right l-yamīni and to the left wal-shamāili prostrating sujjadan to Allah lillahi while they wahum (are) humble dākhirūna
¿Acaso no observáis que todo cuanto Dios ha creado proyecta su sombra a su derecha y a su izquierda prosternándose ante Dios, mostrando su humildad?
وَلِلَّهِ And to Allah walillahi prostrate yasjudu whatever mā (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and whatever wamā (is) in fī the earth l-arḍi of min moving creatures dābbatin and the Angels wal-malāikatu and they wahum (are) not lā arrogant yastakbirūna
Ante Dios se prosternan los ángeles y toda criatura existente en los cielos y en la Tierra, y no se comportan con soberbia.
يَخَافُونَ They fear yakhāfūna their Lord rabbahum above them min above them fawqihim and they do wayafʿalūna what mā they are commanded yu'marūna
[Los ángeles] temen a su Señor que está por encima de ellos, y ejecutan todo cuanto se les ordena.
۞ وَقَالَ And Allah has said waqāla And Allah has said l-lahu (Do) not lā take tattakhidhū [two] gods ilāhayni two ith'nayni only innamā He huwa (is) God ilāhun One wāḥidun so Me Alone fa-iyyāya you fear [Me] fa-ir'habūni
Dios dice: “No adoréis falsas divinidades. Yo soy la única divinidad, tened temor devocional solo de Mí”.
وَلَهُۥ And to Him (belongs) walahu whatever mā (is) in fī the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi and to Him walahu (is due) the worship l-dīnu constantly wāṣiban Then is it other (than) afaghayra Allah l-lahi you fear tattaqūna
A Él pertenece cuanto hay en los cielos y en la Tierra. Solamente a Él se debe adorar. ¿Acaso vais a temer a otro que no sea Dios?
وَمَا And whatever wamā you have bikum of min favor niʿ'matin (is) from famina Allah l-lahi Then thumma when idhā touches you massakumu the adversity l-ḍuru then to Him fa-ilayhi you cry for help tajarūna
Todas las gracias que tenéis provienen de Dios. Pero solo recurrís a Él cuando padecéis una desgracia.
ثُمَّ Then thumma when idhā He removes kashafa the adversity l-ḍura from you ʿankum behold idhā A group farīqun of you minkum with their Lord birabbihim associate others yush'rikūna
Luego, cuando os libra de la desgracia, algunos de vosotros volvéis a dedicar actos de adoración a otros que no son vuestro Señor,
