By the fig wal-tīni and the olive wal-zaytūni
Juro por la higuera y el olivo,
And this wahādhā [the] city l-baladi [the] secure l-amīni
y por esta ciudad segura [La Meca].
Indeed laqad We created khalaqnā man l-insāna in fī (the) best aḥsani mould taqwīmin
Then thumma We returned him radadnāhu (to the) lowest asfala (of the) low sāfilīna
Except illā those who alladhīna believe āmanū and do waʿamilū righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti then for them falahum (is a) reward ajrun never ghayru ending mamnūnin
Then what famā causes you to deny yukadhibuka after (this) baʿdu the judgment bil-dīni
¿Cómo puedes desmentir el Día del Juicio?
Is not alaysa Allah l-lahu (the) Most Just bi-aḥkami (of) the Judges l-ḥākimīna

A slave ʿabdan when idhā he prays ṣallā
Have you seen ara-ayta if in he is kāna upon ʿalā [the] guidance l-hudā
¿Acaso ha recapacitado que trae la guía
Or aw he enjoins amara [of the] righteousness bil-taqwā
y exhorta a la piedad?
Have you seen ara-ayta if in he denies kadhaba and turns away watawallā

esa frente mentirosa y perversa.
