ٱللَّهُ Allah al-lahu (is the) Protecting Guardian waliyyu (of) those who alladhīna believe[d] āmanū He brings them out yukh'rijuhum from mina [the] darkness l-ẓulumāti towards ilā [the] light l-nūri And those who wa-alladhīna disbelieve(d) kafarū their guardians awliyāuhumu (are) the evil ones l-ṭāghūtu they bring them out yukh'rijūnahum from mina the light l-nūri towards ilā [the] darkness l-ẓulumāti Those ulāika (are the) companions aṣḥābu (of) the Fire l-nāri they hum in it fīhā will abide forever khālidūna
Dios es el protector de los creyentes, les saca de las tinieblas hacia la luz. En cambio, los que rechazan la verdad tienen como protector a las falsas divinidades, que les sacan de la luz hacia las tinieblas. Ellos serán los moradores del Fuego, en el que permanecerán eternamente.
أَلَمْ Did not alam you see tara [towards] ilā the one who alladhī argued ḥājja (with) Ibrahim ib'rāhīma concerning fī his Lord rabbihi because an gave him ātāhu Allah l-lahu the kingdom l-mul'ka When idh Said qāla Ibrahim ib'rāhīmu My Lord rabbiya (is) the One Who alladhī grants life yuḥ'yī and causes death wayumītu He said qāla I anā give life uḥ'yī and cause death wa-umītu Said qāla Ibrahim ib'rāhīmu [Then] indeed fa-inna Allah l-laha brings up yatī the sun bil-shamsi from mina the east l-mashriqi so you bring fati it bihā from mina the west l-maghribi So became dumbfounded fabuhita the one who alladhī disbelieved kafara and Allah wal-lahu (does) not lā guide yahdī the people l-qawma (who are) [the] wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
¿Acaso no has reparado en quien discutió con Abraham acerca de su Señor valiéndose del reinado que Dios le había concedido? Dijo Abraham: “Mi Señor es Quien da la vida y da la muerte”. Le replicó: “Yo también doy la vida y la muerte”. Dijo Abraham: “Dios hace que el Sol salga por el oriente, haz tú que salga por el occidente”. Entonces, el que había rechazado la verdad quedó confundido, porque Dios no guía a los injustos.
أَوْ Or aw like the one who ka-alladhī passed marra by ʿalā a township qaryatin and it wahiya (had) overturned khāwiyatun on ʿalā its roofs ʿurūshihā He said qāla How annā (will) bring to life yuḥ'yī this (town) hādhihi Allah l-lahu after baʿda its death mawtihā Then he was made to die fa-amātahu (by) Allah l-lahu (for) a hundred mi-ata year(s) ʿāmin then thumma He raised him baʿathahu He said qāla How long kam (have) you remained labith'ta He said qāla I remained labith'tu (for) a day yawman or aw a part baʿḍa (of) a day yawmin He said qāla Nay bal you (have) remained labith'ta one hundred mi-ata year(s) ʿāmin Then look fa-unẓur at ilā your food ṭaʿāmika and your drink washarābika (they did) not lam change with time yatasannah and look wa-unẓur at ilā your donkey ḥimārika and We will make you walinajʿalaka a sign āyatan for the people lilnnāsi And look wa-unẓur at ilā the bones l-ʿiẓāmi how kayfa We raise them nunshizuhā then thumma We cover them naksūhā (with) flesh laḥman Then when falammā became clear tabayyana to him lahu he said qāla I know aʿlamu that anna Allah l-laha (is) on ʿalā every kulli thing shayin All-Powerful qadīrun
[No has reparado] en aquel [‘Uzeir] que pasó por una ciudad en ruinas [Jerusalén], y exclamó: “¿Cómo va Dios a darle vida ahora que está en ruinas?” Y entonces, Dios le hizo morir por cien años y después le resucitó. Le preguntó [Dios]: “¿Cuánto tiempo has permanecido así?” Respondió: “Un día o menos aún”. Dijo [Dios]: “No, has permanecido así cien años, observa tu comida y tu bebida, no se han podrido, pero mira tu asno [del que por el contrario solo quedan sus huesos]. Haremos de ti un signo para la gente. Mira los huesos [de tu asno], cómo los reuní y luego los cubrí de carne [resucitándolo]”. Y cuando lo vio con claridad dijo: “Ahora sé que Dios es sobre toda cosa Poderoso”.
