۞ فَلَمَّا Then when falammā Musa fulfilled qaḍā Musa fulfilled mūsā the term l-ajala and was traveling wasāra with his family bi-ahlihi he saw ānasa in min (the) direction jānibi (of) Mount Tur l-ṭūri a fire nāran He said qāla to his family li-ahlihi Stay here um'kuthū indeed, I innī [I] perceive ānastu a fire nāran Perhaps laʿallī I will bring you ātīkum from there min'hā some information bikhabarin or aw a burning wood jadhwatin from mina the fire l-nāri so that you may laʿallakum warm yourselves taṣṭalūna
Cuando Moisés hubo cumplido el plazo, partió con su familia por la noche [rumbo a Egipto] y [en el camino] divisó un fuego en la ladera de un monte y le dijo a su familia: “Permaneced aquí, pues he divisado un fuego y quizás pueda traeros alguna noticia [del camino que debemos seguir], o bien una brasa encendida para que podamos calentarnos”.
فَلَمَّآ But when falammā he came (to) it atāhā he was called nūdiya from min (the) side shāṭi-i (of) the valley l-wādi the right l-aymani in fī the place even l-buq'ʿati blessed l-mubārakati from mina the tree l-shajarati that an O Musa yāmūsā Indeed innī I Am anā Allah l-lahu (the) Lord rabbu (of) the worlds l-ʿālamīna
Cuando llegó hasta el fuego escuchó que le llamaban desde un árbol que se encontraba en la ladera derecha del valle, en el lugar bendecido: “¡Oh, Moisés! Yo soy Dios, el Señor del Universo.
وَأَنْ And [that] wa-an throw alqi your staff ʿaṣāka But when falammā he saw it raāhā moving tahtazzu as if it ka-annahā (were) a snake jānnun he turned wallā (in) flight mud'biran and (did) not walam return yuʿaqqib O Musa yāmūsā Draw near aqbil and (do) not walā fear takhaf Indeed, you innaka (are) of mina the secure l-āminīna
Arroja tu vara”. Y cuando la vio moverse como si fuera una serpiente, se dio la vuelta para huir sin mirar atrás. [Le dijo Dios:] “¡Oh, Moisés! Acércate y no temas. Tú eres de los que están a salvo.
ٱسْلُكْ Insert us'luk your hand yadaka in fī your bosom jaybika it will come forth takhruj white bayḍāa without min without ghayri any harm sūin And draw wa-uḍ'mum to yourselves ilayka your hand janāḥaka against mina fear l-rahbi So these fadhānika (are) two evidences bur'hānāni from min your Lord rabbika to ilā Firaun fir'ʿawna and his chiefs wamala-ihi Indeed, they innahum are kānū a people qawman defiantly disobedient fāsiqīna
Introduce tu mano por el cuello de tu túnica, y saldrá blanca y resplandeciente, sin ningún mal; y aprieta tu brazo junto al pecho para vencer el temor. Éstos son dos milagros de tu Señor para [que vean y crean] el Faraón y su nobleza. Ellos son un pueblo corrupto”.
قَالَ He said qāla My Lord rabbi Indeed innī I killed qataltu of them min'hum a man nafsan and I fear fa-akhāfu that an they will kill me yaqtulūni
Dijo [Moisés]: “¡Señor mío! He matado a un hombre de los suyos y temo que me ejecuten.
وَأَخِى And my brother wa-akhī Harun hārūnu he huwa (is) more eloquent afṣaḥu than me minnī (in) speech lisānan so send him fa-arsil'hu with me maʿiya (as) a helper rid'an who will confirm me yuṣaddiqunī Indeed innī I fear akhāfu that an they will deny me yukadhibūni
Mi hermano Aarón es más elocuente que yo, envíalo conmigo para que me ayude y confirme lo que yo diga, pues temo que me desmientan”.
قَالَ He said qāla We will strengthen sanashuddu your arm ʿaḍudaka through your brother bi-akhīka and We will make wanajʿalu for both of you lakumā an authority sul'ṭānan so not falā they will reach yaṣilūna to both of you ilaykumā Through Our Signs biāyātinā you two antumā and (those) who wamani follow you ittabaʿakumā (will) be the dominant l-ghālibūna
Dijo [Dios]: “Te reforzaré con tu hermano y os daré autoridad. No podrán haceros daño. Gracias a Mis milagros, vosotros dos y quienes os sigan seréis los triunfadores”.
