And they carry

your loads

إِلَىٰ

بَلَدٍۢ

a land

لَّمْ

تَكُونُوا۟

you could

takūnū

بَـٰلِغِيهِ

reach it

bālighīhi

إِلَّا

except

illā

بِشِقِّ

with great trouble

bishiqqi

ٱلْأَنفُسِ ۚ

(to) yourselves

l-anfusi

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

رَبَّكُمْ

your Lord

rabbakum

لَرَءُوفٌۭ

surely is Most Kind

laraūfun

رَّحِيمٌۭ

Most Merciful

raḥīmun

٧

Llevan vuestras cargas a lugares que no podríais alcanzar sino con mucha dificultad. Vuestro Señor es Compasivo, Misericordioso.

And horses

wal-khayla

وَٱلْبِغَالَ

and mules

wal-bighāla

وَٱلْحَمِيرَ

and donkeys

wal-ḥamīra

لِتَرْكَبُوهَا

for you to ride them

وَزِينَةًۭ ۚ

and (as) adornment

wazīnatan

وَيَخْلُقُ

And He creates

wayakhluqu

مَا

لَا

تَعْلَمُونَ

you know

taʿlamūna

جَآئِرٌۭ ۚ

(are) crooked

وَلَوْ

And if

شَآءَ

He willed

لَهَدَىٰكُمْ

surely He would have guided you

أَجْمَعِينَ

all

ajmaʿīna

you pasture your cattle

Él es Quien hace descender agua del cielo para que bebáis de ella y brote la vegetación en la que pastoreáis vuestros rebaños.

He causes to grow

وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ

and the olives

وَٱلنَّخِيلَ

and the date-palms

wal-nakhīla

وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبَ

and the grapes

wal-aʿnāba

وَمِن

and of

wamin

كُلِّ

every kind

kulli

ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ

(of) fruits

l-thamarāti

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَةًۭ

surely (is) a sign

laāyatan

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

who reflect

yatafakkarūna

١١

Con ella hace crecer los cereales, los olivos, las palmeras, las vides y toda variedad de frutos. En ello hay signos para quienes reflexionan.

And He has subjected

ٱلَّيْلَ

the night

وَٱلنَّهَارَ

and the day

wal-nahāra

وَٱلشَّمْسَ

wal-shamsa

وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ

and the moon

wal-qamara

وَٱلنُّجُومُ

and the stars

wal-nujūmu

مُسَخَّرَٰتٌۢ

(are) subjected

musakharātun

بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ

by His command

bi-amrihi

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

in

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ

surely (are) signs

laāyātin

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَعْقِلُونَ

who use reason

yaʿqilūna

١٢

Dios ha creado para vuestro beneficio la noche, el día, el Sol, la Luna y las estrellas; todos están sometidos a Su voluntad. En esto hay signos para quienes razonan.

And whatever

He multiplied

لَكُمْ

for you

ٱلْأَرْضِ

the earth

مُخْتَلِفًا

أَلْوَٰنُهُۥٓ ۗ

colors

alwānuhu

إِنَّ

Indeed

inna

فِى

fī

ذَٰلِكَ

that

dhālika

لَـَٔايَةًۭ

surely (is) a sign

laāyatan

لِّقَوْمٍۢ

for a people

liqawmin

يَذَّكَّرُونَ

who remember

yadhakkarūna

١٣

Él creó para vosotros una gran diversidad en la Tierra. En ello hay signos para quienes recapacitan.

And He

ٱلَّذِى

(is) the One Who

سَخَّرَ

sakhara

ٱلْبَحْرَ

the sea

l-baḥra

لِتَأْكُلُوا۟

for you to eat

مِنْهُ

from it

min'hu

لَحْمًۭا

meat

laḥman

طَرِيًّۭا

fresh

ṭariyyan

وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا۟

and that you bring forth

watastakhrijū

مِنْهُ

from it

min'hu

حِلْيَةًۭ

ornaments

ḥil'yatan

تَلْبَسُونَهَا

(that) you wear them

talbasūnahā

وَتَرَى

And you see

watarā

ٱلْفُلْكَ

the ships

l-ful'ka

مَوَاخِرَ

ploughing

mawākhira

فِيهِ

through it

fīhi

وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟

and that you may seek

walitabtaghū

مِن

of

min

فَضْلِهِۦ

His Bounty

faḍlihi

وَلَعَلَّكُمْ

and that you may

walaʿallakum

تَشْكُرُونَ

(be) grateful

tashkurūna

١٤

Él es Quien ha puesto al mar a vuestro servicio para que podáis comer de él carne fresca y extraer adornos para engalanaros. Podéis ver los barcos surcarlo y usarlos para buscar la gracia de Dios [su sustento]. ¿Por qué no sois agradecidos?
