أَمْ Or am they say yaqūlūna He has fabricated it if'tarāhu Say qul Then bring fatū ten biʿashri Surahs suwarin like it mith'lihi fabricated muf'tarayātin and call wa-id'ʿū whoever mani you can is'taṭaʿtum besides Allah min besides Allah dūni besides Allah l-lahi if in you are kuntum truthful ṣādiqīna
O cuando dicen: “Él lo inventó”. Diles: “[Si es verdad que un ser humano puede escribir algo tan maravilloso] escribid vosotros diez suras inventadas como ésta y presentadlas, y convocad a quienes podáis [para que os auxilien] en vez de Dios, si es que decís la verdad”.
فَإِلَّمْ Then if not fa-illam they respond yastajībū to you lakum then know fa-iʿ'lamū that annamā it was sent down unzila with the knowledge of Allah biʿil'mi with the knowledge of Allah l-lahi and that wa-an (there is) no lā god ilāha except illā Him huwa Then, would fahal you antum (be) Muslims mus'limūna
Pero si no os responden [el desafío], sabed que [el Corán] ha sido revelado con el conocimiento de Dios, porque no hay otra divinidad salvo Él. ¿Acaso no vais a someteros a Él [haciéndoos musulmanes]?
مَن Whoever [is] man Whoever [is] kāna desires yurīdu the life l-ḥayata (of) the world l-dun'yā and its adornments wazīnatahā We will repay in full nuwaffi to them ilayhim (for) their deeds aʿmālahum therein fīhā and they wahum in it fīhā will not be lessened lā will not be lessened yub'khasūna
A quienes prefieran la vida mundanal y sus placeres los recompensaré por sus obras en esta vida, se los concederé y no serán defraudados.
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those ulāika (are) the ones who alladhīna (is) not laysa for them lahum in fī the Hereafter l-ākhirati except illā the Fire l-nāru And (has) gone in vain waḥabiṭa what mā they did ṣanaʿū therein fīhā and (is) worthless wabāṭilun what mā they used (to) kānū do yaʿmalūna
Pero no obtendrán en la otra vida sino el castigo del Infierno. Allí, lo que hubieran hecho se desvanecerá, y sus obras habrán sido en vano.
أَفَمَن Then is he who afaman is kāna on ʿalā a clear proof bayyinatin from min his Lord rabbihi and recites it wayatlūhu a witness shāhidun from Him min'hu and before it wamin and before it qablihi (was) a Book kitābu (of) Musa mūsā (as) a guide imāman and (as) mercy waraḥmatan Those ulāika believe yu'minūna in it bihi But whoever waman disbelieves yakfur in it bihi among mina the sects l-aḥzābi then the Fire fal-nāru (will be) his promised (meeting) place mawʿiduhu So (do) not falā be taku in fī doubt mir'yatin about it min'hu Indeed, it innahu (is) the truth l-ḥaqu from min your Lord rabbika but walākinna most akthara (of) the people l-nāsi (do) not lā believe yu'minūna
¿Acaso quien cree en el Corán y se basa en una prueba que proviene de Su Señor, que es recitada por un testigo de Dios, y que antes se encontraba mencionada en el Libro de Moisés [la Torá] que fue una guía y una misericordia, es comparable con aquellos aliados que no creen en el Corán? Ellos tendrán por morada el Infierno. No tengas dudas [de ello]. [El Corán] es la Verdad que dimana de tu Señor, aunque la mayoría de las personas no crean.
وَمَنْ And who waman (is) more unjust aẓlamu than (he) who mimmani invents if'tarā against ʿalā Allah l-lahi a lie kadhiban Those ulāika will be presented yuʿ'raḍūna before ʿalā their Lord rabbihim and will say wayaqūlu the witnesses l-ashhādu These (are) hāulāi those who alladhīna lied kadhabū against ʿalā their Lord rabbihim No doubt alā (The) curse of Allah laʿnatu (The) curse of Allah l-lahi (is) on ʿalā the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
¿Hay alguien más injusto que quien inventa mentiras acerca de Dios? Ésos deberán comparecer ante su Señor [para responder por sus mentiras], y entonces todos los testigos dirán: “Éstos son quienes mintieron acerca de su Señor”. ¡Que la maldición de Dios caiga sobre los injustos
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who alladhīna hinder yaṣuddūna from ʿan (the) way sabīli (of) Allah l-lahi and seek (in) it wayabghūnahā crookedness ʿiwajan while they wahum in the Hereafter bil-ākhirati [they] hum (are) disbelievers kāfirūna
que apartan a la gente del sendero de Dios, tratan de modificarlo y no creen en la otra vida!
