And when walammā he reached balagha his full strength ashuddahu and became mature wa-is'tawā We bestowed upon him ātaynāhu wisdom ḥuk'man and knowledge waʿil'man And thus wakadhālika We reward najzī the good-doers l-muḥ'sinīna
And he entered wadakhala the city l-madīnata at ʿalā a time ḥīni (of) inattention ghaflatin of min its people ahlihā and found fawajada therein fīhā two men rajulayni fighting each other yaqtatilāni this hādhā of min his party shīʿatihi and this wahādhā of min his enemy ʿaduwwihi And called him for help fa-is'taghāthahu the one who alladhī (was) from min his party shīʿatihi against ʿalā the one who alladhī (was) from min his enemy ʿaduwwihi so Musa struck him with his fist fawakazahu so Musa struck him with his fist mūsā and killed him faqaḍā and killed him ʿalayhi He said qāla This (is) hādhā of min (the) deed ʿamali (of) Shaitaan l-shayṭāni Indeed, he innahu (is) an enemy ʿaduwwun one who misleads muḍillun clearly mubīnun
He said qāla My Lord rabbi Indeed, I innī [I] have wronged ẓalamtu my soul nafsī so forgive fa-igh'fir [for] me lī Then He forgave faghafara [for] him lahu Indeed He innahu He (is) huwa the Oft-Forgiving l-ghafūru the Most Merciful l-raḥīmu
Dijo: “¡Señor mío! He sido injusto conmigo mismo; perdóname”. Y [Dios] le perdonó, porque Él es Absolvedor, Misericordioso.
He said qāla My Lord rabbi Because bimā You have favored anʿamta [on] me ʿalayya so not falan I will be akūna a supporter ẓahīran (of) the criminals lil'muj'rimīna
In the morning he was fa-aṣbaḥa in fī the city l-madīnati fearful khāifan (and) was vigilant yataraqqabu when behold fa-idhā The one who alladhī sought his help is'tanṣarahu the previous day bil-amsi cried out to him for help yastaṣrikhuhu Said qāla to him lahu Musa mūsā Indeed, you innaka (are) surely a deviator laghawiyyun clear mubīnun
Then when falammā [that] an he wanted arāda to an strike yabṭisha the one who bi-alladhī [he] (was) huwa an enemy ʿaduwwun to both of them lahumā he said qāla O Musa yāmūsā Do you intend aturīdu to an kill me taqtulanī as kamā you killed qatalta a person nafsan yesterday bil-amsi Not in you want turīdu but illā that an you become takūna a tyrant jabbāran in fī the earth l-arḍi and not wamā you want turīdu that an you be takūna of mina the reformers l-muṣ'liḥīna
And came wajāa a man rajulun from min (the) farthest end aqṣā (of) the city l-madīnati running yasʿā He said qāla O Musa yāmūsā Indeed inna the chiefs l-mala-a are taking counsel yatamirūna about you bika to kill you liyaqtulūka so leave fa-ukh'ruj indeed, I am innī to you laka of mina the sincere advisors l-nāṣiḥīna
¡Huye! Yo solo te aconsejo”.
So he left fakharaja from it min'hā fearing khāifan (and) vigilant yataraqqabu He said qāla My Lord rabbi Save me najjinī from mina the people l-qawmi the wrongdoers l-ẓālimīna
