إِنَّمَا Only innamā (the) recompense jazāu (for) those who alladhīna wage war yuḥāribūna (against) Allah l-laha and His Messenger warasūlahu and strive wayasʿawna in fī the earth l-arḍi spreading corruption fasādan (is) that an they be killed yuqattalū or aw they be crucified yuṣallabū or aw be cut off tuqaṭṭaʿa their hands aydīhim and their feet wa-arjuluhum of min opposite sides khilāfin or aw they be exiled yunfaw from mina the land l-arḍi That dhālika (is) for them lahum disgrace khiz'yun in fī the world l-dun'yā and for them walahum in fī the Hereafter l-ākhirati (is) a punishment ʿadhābun great ʿaẓīmun
El castigo para quienes hacen la guerra a [un pueblo que se gobierna por la ley de] Dios y Su Mensajero y siembran en la Tierra la corrupción, es que [después de un juicio justo] se les condene a muerte, se les crucifique, se les ampute una mano y el pie del lado opuesto, o se les condene al exilio.
