۞ وَٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتُ And (prohibited are) the ones who are married wal-muḥ'ṣanātu of mina the women l-nisāi except illā whom mā you possess malakat rightfully aymānukum Decree kitāba (of) Allah l-lahi upon you ʿalaykum And are lawful wa-uḥilla to you lakum what mā (is) beyond warāa that dhālikum that an you seek tabtaghū with your wealth bi-amwālikum desiring to be chaste muḥ'ṣinīna not ghayra (to be) lustful musāfiḥīna So what famā you benefit[ed] is'tamtaʿtum of it bihi from them min'hunna so you give them faātūhunna their bridal due ujūrahunna (as) an obligation farīḍatan And (there is) no walā sin junāḥa on you ʿalaykum concerning what fīmā you mutually agree tarāḍaytum of it bihi from min beyond baʿdi the obligation l-farīḍati Indeed inna Allah l-laha is kāna All-Knowing ʿalīman All-Wise ḥakīman
Se prohíbe contraer matrimonio con una mujer casada. Es permitido con una esclava. Ésta es la ley de Dios. Fuera de las prohibiciones, es lícito que busquéis casaros pagando la dote correspondiente, pero con intención de matrimonio y no de fornicar. Es una obligación dar a la mujer la dote convenida una vez consumado el matrimonio. Pero no incurrís en falta si después de haber cumplido con esta obligación legal, decidís algo distinto de mutuo acuerdo. Dios es Sabio, todo lo sabe.
