هَـٰٓأَنتُمْ Here you are hāantum these hāulāi called tud'ʿawna to spend litunfiqū in fī (the) way sabīli (of) Allah l-lahi but among you faminkum (are some) who man withhold yabkhalu and whoever waman withholds yabkhal then only fa-innamā he withholds yabkhalu from ʿan himself nafsihi But Allah wal-lahu (is) Free of need l-ghaniyu while you wa-antumu (are) the needy l-fuqarāu And if wa-in you turn away tatawallaw He will replace you yastabdil (with) a people qawman other than you ghayrakum then thumma not lā they will be yakūnū (the) likes of you amthālakum
Se les invita a contribuir por la causa de Dios, pero entre vosotros hay quienes se muestran avaros. El avaro solo se perjudica a sí mismo. Porque Dios es el Rico y vosotros sois los pobres. Si no creéis, Dios os cambiará por otro pueblo que no será como vosotros.
