وَإِنَّ And indeed wa-inna among them min'hum surely (is) a group lafarīqan they distort yalwūna their tongues alsinatahum in (reciting) the Book bil-kitābi so that you may think it litaḥsabūhu (is) from mina the Book l-kitābi and not wamā it huwa (is) from mina the Book l-kitābi And they say wayaqūlūna It huwa (is) min from ʿindi Allah l-lahi But not wamā it huwa (is) min from ʿindi Allah l-lahi And they say wayaqūlūna about ʿalā Allah l-lahi the lie l-kadhiba while they wahum know yaʿlamūna
Entre ellos hay quienes tergiversan el Libro cuando lo recitan para que vosotros creáis que es parte de él, cuando en realidad no pertenece al Libro. Y dicen que proviene de Dios, cuando en realidad no proviene de Dios. Inventan mentiras acerca de Dios a sabiendas.
