۞ وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā touches massa [the] man l-insāna adversity ḍurrun he calls daʿā his Lord rabbahu turning munīban to Him ilayhi then thumma when idhā He bestows on him khawwalahu a favor niʿ'matan from Himself min'hu he forgets nasiya (for) what mā he used to call kāna he used to call yadʿū [to] Him ilayhi before min before qablu and he sets up wajaʿala to Allah lillahi rivals andādan to mislead liyuḍilla from ʿan His Path sabīlihi Say qul Enjoy tamattaʿ in your disbelief bikuf'rika (for) a little qalīlan Indeed, you innaka (are) of min (the) companions aṣḥābi (of) the Fire l-nāri
Cuando al ser humano le acontece una desgracia, invoca a su Señor y se vuelve a Él [pidiéndole que lo auxilie]; pero luego, cuando Él le concede una gracia, olvida que Lo había invocado antes e iguala a sus ídolos con Dios [dedicándoles actos de adoración y súplicas], descarriando a otros de Su sendero. Dile [a quien se comporte de esta manera]: “Disfruta por poco tiempo de tu incredulidad, pues serás de los moradores del Infierno”.
