وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who wa-alladhīna pass away yutawaffawna among you minkum and leave behind wayadharūna wives azwājan (the widows) should wait yatarabbaṣna for themselves bi-anfusihinna (for) four arbaʿata months ashhurin and ten (days) waʿashran Then when fa-idhā they reach balaghna their (specified) term ajalahunna then (there is) no falā blame junāḥa upon you ʿalaykum for what fīmā they do faʿalna concerning fī themselves anfusihinna in a fair manner bil-maʿrūfi And Allah wal-lahu of what bimā you do taʿmalūna (is) All-Aware khabīrun
Las viudas deberán esperar cuatro meses y diez días. Después de ese plazo no serán reprochadas por lo que dispongan hacer consigo mismas [siempre que sea] de manera correcta, y Dios sabe lo que hacéis.
