وَمَنْ And who waman (is) more unjust aẓlamu than (one) who mimman prevents manaʿa (the) masajid masājida (of) Allah l-lahi to an be mentioned yudh'kara in them fīhā His name us'muhu and strives wasaʿā for fī their destruction kharābihā Those ulāika Not mā it is kāna for them lahum that an they enter them yadkhulūhā except illā (like) those in fear khāifīna For them lahum in fī the world l-dun'yā (is) disgrace khiz'yun and for them walahum in fī the Hereafter l-ākhirati (is) a punishment ʿadhābun great ʿaẓīmun
¿Acaso existe alguien más injusto que quien prohíbe que en las casas de Dios se alabe Su nombre, e intentan destruirlas? Ésos deberían entrar en ellas con temor, [porque finalmente] serán humillados en este mundo y en la otra vida recibirán un castigo terrible.
