هَلْ Do hal they wait yanẓurūna except illā that an (should) come to them tatiyahumu the Angels l-malāikatu or aw (should) come yatiya (the) Command amru (of) your Lord rabbika Thus kadhālika did faʿala those who alladhīna (were) before them min (were) before them qablihim And not wamā wronged them ẓalamahumu Allah l-lahu but walākin they were kānū themselves anfusahum wronging yaẓlimūna
¿Acaso esperan [los incrédulos] que se presenten ante ellos los ángeles [para tomar sus almas] o que les azote el castigo [para solo entonces creer]? Eso hicieron quienes les precedieron. Dios no fue injusto con ellos [al enviarles el castigo], sino que ellos fueron injustos consigo mismos.
