۞ وَإِلَىٰ And to wa-ilā Madyan madyana their brother akhāhum Shuaib shuʿayban He said qāla O my people yāqawmi Worship uʿ'budū Allah l-laha not mā (is) for you lakum any min god ilāhin other than Him ghayruhu And (do) not walā decrease tanquṣū (from) the measure l-mik'yāla and the scale wal-mīzāna Indeed, I innī see you arākum in prosperity bikhayrin but indeed, I wa-innī fear akhāfu for you ʿalaykum punishment ʿadhāba (of) a Day yawmin all-encompassing muḥīṭin
Al pueblo de Madián le envié [como Profeta] a su hermano Jetró, quien les dijo: “¡Oh, pueblo mío! Adorad a Dios, pues no existe otra divinidad salvo Él, y no merméis en la medida ni el peso. Os veo hoy en la prosperidad, pero temo que os azote el castigo de un día ineludible.
