And said waqāla to them lahum their Prophet nabiyyuhum Indeed inna Allah l-laha (has) surely qad raised baʿatha for you lakum Talut ṭālūta (as) a king malikan They said qālū How annā can be yakūnu for him lahu the kingship l-mul'ku over us ʿalaynā while we wanaḥnu (are) more entitled aḥaqqu to kingship bil-mul'ki than him min'hu and not walam he has been given yu'ta abundance saʿatan of mina [the] wealth l-māli He said qāla Indeed inna Allah l-laha has chosen him iṣ'ṭafāhu over you ʿalaykum and increased him wazādahu abundantly basṭatan in fī [the] knowledge l-ʿil'mi and [the] physique wal-jis'mi And Allah wal-lahu gives yu'tī His kingdom mul'kahu (to) whom man He wills yashāu And Allah wal-lahu (is) All-Encompassing wāsiʿun All-Knowing ʿalīmun
