۞ وَلَوْ And if walaw they had wished arādū (to) go forth l-khurūja surely they (would) have prepared la-aʿaddū for it lahu (some) preparation ʿuddatan But walākin Allah disliked kariha Allah disliked l-lahu their being sent inbiʿāthahum so He made them lag behind fathabbaṭahum and it was said waqīla Sit uq'ʿudū with maʿa those who sit l-qāʿidīna
Si [los hipócritas] hubieran querido realmente combatir, se habrían preparado para tal fin; pero Dios no quiso que salieran [con vosotros] y les infundió desgana, y se les dijo: “Permaneced con quienes se quedan [por estar verdaderamente eximidos]”.
لَوْ If law they (had) gone forth kharajū with you fīkum not mā they (would) have increased you zādūkum except illā (in) confusion khabālan and would have been active wala-awḍaʿū in your midst khilālakum seeking (for) you yabghūnakumu dissension l-fit'nata And among you (are some) wafīkum who would have listened sammāʿūna to them lahum And Allah wal-lahu (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun of the wrongdoers bil-ẓālimīna
Si hubieran salido a combatir, os habrían confundido sembrando la discordia, pues entre vosotros hay quienes prestan oído a lo que dicen, pero Dios conoce bien a los injustos.
