وَمِمَّنْ And among those wamimman around you ḥawlakum of mina the bedouins l-aʿrābi (are) hypocrites munāfiqūna and (also) from wamin people ahli (of) the Madinah l-madīnati They persist maradū in ʿalā the hypocrisy l-nifāqi not lā you know them taʿlamuhum We naḥnu [We] know them naʿlamuhum We will punish them sanuʿadhibuhum twice marratayni then thumma they will be returned yuraddūna to ilā a punishment ʿadhābin great ʿaẓīmin
Entre la gente de Medina y los beduinos que habitan a su alrededor hay hipócritas. Éstos persisten en la hipocresía, tú no los conoces [¡Oh, Muhámmad!], pero Yo sí los conozco. Les castigaré dos veces [una en esta vida con adversidades y la otra en la tumba], luego [el Día del Juicio] sufrirán un terrible castigo.
