Indeed inna those who alladhīna committed crimes ajramū used to kānū at mina those who alladhīna believed āmanū laugh yaḍḥakūna
And when wa-idhā they passed marrū by them bihim they winked at one another yataghāmazūna
And when wa-idhā they returned inqalabū to ilā their people ahlihimu they would return inqalabū jesting fakihīna
And when wa-idhā they saw them ra-awhum they said qālū Indeed inna these hāulāi surely have gone astray laḍāllūna
But not wamā they had been sent ur'silū over them ʿalayhim (as) guardians ḥāfiẓīna
So today fal-yawma those who alladhīna believed āmanū at mina the disbelievers l-kufāri they will laugh yaḍḥakūna
On ʿalā the thrones l-arāiki observing yanẓurūna
Have (not) hal been rewarded thuwwiba the disbelievers l-kufāru (for) what mā they used to kānū do yafʿalūna
