۞ عَسَى Perhaps ʿasā Allah l-lahu [that] an will put yajʿala between you baynakum and between wabayna those (to) whom alladhīna you have been enemies ʿādaytum among them min'hum love mawaddatan And Allah wal-lahu (is) All-Powerful qadīrun And Allah wal-lahu (is) Oft-Forgiving ghafūrun Most Merciful raḥīmun
Es posible que Dios haga surgir afecto mutuo entre vosotros y los que ahora son vuestros enemigos. Dios tiene poder para hacerlo, porque es Perdonador, Misericordioso.

Dios no os prohíbe hacer el bien y tratar con justicia a quienes no os han combatido por causa de la religión ni os han expulsado de vuestros hogares, porque Dios ama a los que actúan con justicia.
