وَمَنْ And who waman (is) more unjust aẓlamu than (one) who mimmani invents if'tarā about ʿalā Allah l-lahi a lie kadhiban or aw said qāla It has been inspired ūḥiya to me ilayya while not walam it was inspired yūḥa to him ilayhi anything shayon and (one) who waman said qāla I will reveal sa-unzilu like mith'la what mā (has been) revealed anzala (by) Allah l-lahu And if walaw you (could) see tarā when idhi the wrongdoers l-ẓālimūna (are) in fī agonies ghamarāti (of) [the] death l-mawti while the Angels wal-malāikatu (are) stretching out bāsiṭū their hands (saying) aydīhim Discharge akhrijū your souls anfusakumu Today l-yawma you will be recompensed tuj'zawna (with) punishment ʿadhāba humiliating l-hūni because bimā you used to kuntum say taqūlūna against ʿalā Allah l-lahi other than ghayra the truth l-ḥaqi and you were wakuntum towards ʿan His Verses āyātihi being arrogant tastakbirūna
No hay nadie más injusto que quien inventa mentiras acerca de Dios o dice: “He recibido una revelación”, cuando en realidad no se le ha revelado nada, o dice: “Revelaré algo similar a lo que Dios ha revelado”. Si pudieras ver [lo terrible que será] cuando los opresores estén en la agonía de su muerte y los ángeles extiendan las manos [para atormentarlos, y les digan]: “Entregad vuestras almas. Hoy se os retribuirá con un castigo denigrante por haber inventado mentiras acerca de Dios y por despreciar con arrogancia Su mensaje”.
وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad you have come to Us ji'tumūnā alone furādā as kamā We created you khalaqnākum (the) first awwala time marratin and you have left wataraktum whatever mā We bestowed (on) you khawwalnākum behind warāa your backs ẓuhūrikum And not wamā We see narā with you maʿakum your intercessors shufaʿāakumu those whom alladhīna you claimed zaʿamtum that they (were) annahum in your (matters) fīkum partners (with Allah) shurakāu Indeed laqad have been severed (bonds) taqaṭṭaʿa between you baynakum and is lost waḍalla from you ʿankum what mā you used to kuntum claim tazʿumūna
Habéis venido ante Mí solos, tal como os creé por primera vez. Habéis dejado atrás [en la vida mundanal] lo que os concedí [de bienes materiales], y no veo junto a vosotros los intercesores que pretendíais eran socios [de Dios en la divinidad]. Se ha roto vuestro vínculo [con ellos] y desvanecido aquello que creíais.
