وَحَآجَّهُۥ And argued with him waḥājjahu his people qawmuhu He said qāla Do you argue with me atuḥājjūnnī concerning fī Allah l-lahi while certainly waqad He has guided me hadāni And not walā (do) I fear akhāfu what mā you associate tush'rikūna with Him bihi unless illā [that] an wills yashāa my Lord rabbī anything shayan Encompasses wasiʿa my Lord rabbī every kulla thing shayin (in) knowledge ʿil'man Then will not afalā you take heed tatadhakkarūna
Pero su pueblo lo desmintió. Él les dijo: “¿Me discutís acerca de Dios siendo que Él me ha guiado? No tengo miedo a vuestros ídolos, [solo podrá ocurrirme] lo que mi Señor quiera. Mi Señor abarca con Su conocimiento todas las cosas. ¿No vais a recapacitar?
