وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day wayawma We will gather them naḥshuruhum all jamīʿan then thumma We will say naqūlu to those who lilladhīna associated others with Allah ashrakū Where (are) ayna your partners shurakāukumu those whom alladhīna you used to kuntum claim tazʿumūna
El día que los resucitemos a todos y les sea dicho a quienes asociaron divinidades a Dios: “¿Dónde están ahora aquellos que en vuestras fantasías eran socios de Dios en la divinidad?”
ثُمَّ Then thumma not lam will be takun (for) them a plea fit'natuhum except illā that an they say qālū By Allah wal-lahi our Lord rabbinā not mā we were kunnā those who associated others (with Allah) mush'rikīna
Entonces en su confusión dirán: “¡Juramos por Dios, nuestro Señor, que no Le atribuíamos divinidad a nada junto con Él!”
ٱنظُرْ Look unẓur how kayfa they lied kadhabū against ʿalā themselves anfusihim And lost waḍalla from them ʿanhum what mā they used to kānū invent yaftarūna
Mira cómo se desmienten a sí mismos, finalmente les desvió aquello que inventaron.
وَمِنْهُم And among them wamin'hum (are those) who man listen yastamiʿu to you ilayka but We have placed wajaʿalnā over ʿalā their hearts qulūbihim coverings akinnatan lest an they understand it yafqahūhu and in wafī their ears ādhānihim deafness waqran And if wa-in they see yaraw every kulla sign āyatin not lā will they believe yu'minū in it bihā Until ḥattā when idhā they come to you jāūka and argue with you yujādilūnaka say yaqūlu those who alladhīna disbelieved kafarū Not in (is) this hādhā but illā (the) tales asāṭīru (of) the former (people) l-awalīna
Hay entre ellos quienes [parece] que te prestan atención [cuando recitas el Corán], pero [a causa de su incredulidad] he puesto sobre sus corazones un velo y he ensordecido sus oídos, por ello no pueden comprenderlo. Aunque vieran toda clase de signos, no creerían. Se presentan ante ti solo para debatirte, y dicen: “Esto no es más que una fábula de los antiguos”.
وَهُمْ And they wahum forbid (others) yanhawna from it ʿanhu and they keep away wayanawna from it ʿanhu And not wa-in they destroy yuh'likūna except illā themselves anfusahum and not wamā they perceive yashʿurūna
Le prohíben a la gente [seguir el mensaje] y se apartan ellos mismos, pero sin darse cuenta solo se perjudican a sí mismos.
