وَلَقَدْ And certainly walaqad We created khalaqnā man l-insāna and We know wanaʿlamu what mā whispers tuwaswisu to him bihi his soul nafsuhu and We wanaḥnu (are) nearer aqrabu to him ilayhi than min (his) jugular vein ḥabli (his) jugular vein l-warīdi
Creé al ser humano y sé cuáles son sus debilidades. Estoy más cerca de
إِذْ When idh receive yatalaqqā the two receivers l-mutalaqiyāni on ʿani the right l-yamīni and on waʿani the left l-shimāli seated qaʿīdun
[Sabe que] dos ángeles escriben todas sus obras, sentados uno a su derecha y el otro a su izquierda,
مَّا Not mā he utters yalfiẓu any min word qawlin but illā with him ladayhi (is) an observer raqībun ready ʿatīdun
no pronuncia palabra alguna sin que a su lado esté presente un ángel observador que la registre.
وَجَآءَتْ And will come wajāat (the) stupor sakratu (of) death l-mawti in truth bil-ḥaqi That dhālika (is) what mā you were kunta [from it] min'hu avoiding taḥīdu
Le llegará la agonía de la muerte con la verdad. ¡De ella era que huía!
وَنُفِخَ And will be blown wanufikha [in] fī the trumpet l-ṣūri That dhālika (is the) Day yawmu (of) the Warning l-waʿīdi
La trompeta será inevitablemente soplada. Ese es un día prometido.
وَجَآءَتْ And will come wajāat every kullu soul nafsin with it maʿahā a driver sāiqun and a witness washahīdun
Toda alma [del ser humano] ha de presentarse acompañada por un ángel que la conduzca y otro que sea testigo de sus obras.
لَّقَدْ Certainly laqad you were kunta in fī heedlessness ghaflatin of min this hādhā So We have removed fakashafnā from you ʿanka your cover ghiṭāaka so your sight fabaṣaruka today l-yawma (is) sharp ḥadīdun
[Se le dirá:] “Fuiste indiferente a este [día]. Hoy te quito el velo que cubría tu vista y ahora puedes ver”.
