قُلْ Say qul O People yāahla (of) the Book l-kitābi You are not lastum on ʿalā anything shayin until ḥattā you stand firmly tuqīmū (by) the Taurat l-tawrāta and the Injeel wal-injīla and what wamā has been revealed unzila to you ilaykum from min your Lord rabbikum And surely increase walayazīdanna many kathīran of them min'hum what mā has been revealed unzila to you ilayka from min your Lord rabbika (in) rebellion ṭugh'yānan and disbelief wakuf'ran So (do) not falā grieve tasa over ʿalā the people l-qawmi the disbelieving l-kāfirīna
Di: “¡Oh, Gente del Libro! No tendréis fundamento alguno mientras no os atengáis a [la ley de] la Torá, el Evangelio y lo que os ha sido revelado por vuestro Señor”. Lo que te ha sido revelado por tu Señor acrecentará en muchos de ellos la arrogancia y la negación a reconocer la verdad, pero no te aflijas por un pueblo que se niega a reconocer la verdad.
إِنَّ Indeed inna those who alladhīna believed āmanū and those who wa-alladhīna became Jews hādū and the Sabians wal-ṣābiūna and the Christians wal-naṣārā whoever man believed āmana in Allah bil-lahi and the Day wal-yawmi the Last l-ākhiri and did waʿamila good deeds ṣāliḥan then no falā fear khawfun on them ʿalayhim and not walā they hum will grieve yaḥzanūna
Los creyentes [en el Islam], los judíos, los sabeos y los cristianos, quienes crean en Dios [sin asociarle nada] y en el Día del Juicio y obren rectamente, no deben sentir temor ni tristeza [por su futuro].
