يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you yāayyuhā who alladhīna believe āmanū (Do) not lā take tattakhidhū those who alladhīna take ittakhadhū your religion dīnakum (in) ridicule huzuwan and fun walaʿiban from mina those who alladhīna are given ūtū the Book l-kitāba from min before you qablikum and the disbelievers wal-kufāra (as) allies awliyāa And fear wa-ittaqū Allah l-laha if in you are kuntum believers mu'minīna
¡Oh, creyentes! No toméis por aliados a quienes toman a burla y broma su religión, sean gente del Libro o de los que niegan la verdad. Tened temor de Dios si es que sois creyentes.
