فَتَرَى And you see fatarā those alladhīna in fī their hearts qulūbihim (is) a disease maraḍun they hasten yusāriʿūna to them fīhim saying yaqūlūna We fear nakhshā that an (may) strike us tuṣībanā a misfortune dāiratun But perhaps faʿasā Allah l-lahu [that] an will bring yatiya the victory bil-fatḥi or aw a decision amrin from min (of) Him ʿindihi Then they will become fayuṣ'biḥū for ʿalā what mā they had concealed asarrū within fī themselves anfusihim regretful nādimīna
Verás que quienes tienen una enfermedad en el corazón [la hipocresía] se apresuran buscando su complacencia y dicen: “Tenemos miedo de que nos sorprenda una derrota”. Pero puede que Dios les tenga deparada la victoria o algún otro decreto, y entonces tengan que arrepentirse de lo que pensaban.
