وَقَفَّيْنَا And We sent waqaffaynā on ʿalā their footsteps āthārihim Isa biʿīsā son ib'ni (of) Maryam maryama confirming muṣaddiqan what limā (was) between bayna his hands yadayhi of mina the Taurat l-tawrāti and We gave him waātaynāhu the Injeel l-injīla in it fīhi (was) Guidance hudan and light wanūrun and confirming wamuṣaddiqan what limā (was) between bayna his hands yadayhi of mina the Taurat l-tawrāti and a Guidance wahudan and an admonition wamawʿiẓatan for the God conscious lil'muttaqīna
Hice que Jesús hijo de María siguiera [el ejemplo de los Profetas anteriores], en confirmación de la verdad que había [sido revelada] en la Torá. A él le he revelado el Evangelio en el que hay guía y luz, como confirmación de la Torá, y como guía y exhortación para los que tienen temor de Dios y piedad.
وَلْيَحْكُمْ And let judge walyaḥkum (the) People ahlu (of) the Injeel l-injīli by what bimā has revealed anzala Allah l-lahu in it fīhi And whoever waman (does) not lam judge yaḥkum by what bimā has revealed anzala Allah l-lahu then those fa-ulāika [they] (are) humu the defiantly disobedient l-fāsiqūna
Que los seguidores del Evangelio juzguen según lo que Dios ha revelado en él, porque los que no juzgan conforme a lo que Dios ha revelado, ésos son los verdaderos perversos.
