۞ أَفَلَمْ Do not afalam they travel yasīrū in fī the earth l-arḍi and see fayanẓurū how kayfa was kāna (the) end ʿāqibatu (of) those alladhīna before them min before them qablihim Allah destroyed dammara Allah destroyed l-lahu [over] them ʿalayhim and for the disbelievers walil'kāfirīna its likeness amthāluhā
¿Por qué no viajan por el mundo y observan cómo terminaron sus antecesores? Dios les destruyó; y sabed que todos los que se niegan a creer tienen un destino similar.
ذَٰلِكَ That dhālika (is) because bi-anna Allah l-laha (is the) Protector mawlā (of) those who alladhīna believe āmanū and that wa-anna the disbelievers l-kāfirīna (there is) no lā protector mawlā for them lahum
Eso es porque Dios solo es protector de los creyentes, mientras que los que se niegan a creer no tienen protector alguno.
إِنَّ Indeed inna Allah l-laha will admit yud'khilu those who alladhīna believe āmanū and do waʿamilū righteous deeds l-ṣāliḥāti (to) Gardens jannātin flow tajrī from min underneath it taḥtihā the rivers l-anhāru but those who wa-alladhīna disbelieve kafarū they enjoy yatamattaʿūna and eat wayakulūna as kamā eat takulu the cattle l-anʿāmu and the Fire wal-nāru (will be) an abode mathwan for them lahum
Dios introducirá a los creyentes que obran rectamente en jardines por donde corren ríos. En cambio, los que se niegan a creer gozarán transitoriamente y comerán como lo hacen los rebaños, pero tendrán el Infierno por morada.
وَكَأَيِّن And how many waka-ayyin of min a town qaryatin which hiya (was) stronger ashaddu (in) strength quwwatan than min your town qaryatika which allatī has driven you out akhrajatka We destroyed them ahlaknāhum so no falā helper nāṣira for them lahum
Muchas ciudades fueron más poderosas que la que te expulsó [¡Oh, Muhámmad!], e igualmente las destruí y no tuvieron quién los auxiliara.
