أَمِ Or ami have they taken ittakhadhū besides min besides dūni Allah l-lahi intercessors shufaʿāa Say qul Even though awalaw they were kānū not lā possessing yamlikūna anything shayan and not walā they understand yaʿqilūna
Sin embargo [los idólatras] toman [ídolos como] intercesores ante Dios. Diles: “¿Lo hacéis a pesar de que ellos no pueden hacer nada, ni tampoco entienden?”
قُل Say qul To Allah (belongs) lillahi the intercession l-shafāʿatu all jamīʿan For Him lahu (is the) dominion mul'ku (of) the heavens l-samāwāti and the earth wal-arḍi Then thumma to Him ilayhi you will be returned tur'jaʿūna
Diles: “Dios es Quien autoriza toda intercesión. A Él pertenece el reino de los cielos y la Tierra; ante Él compareceréis”.
وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā Allah is mentioned dhukira Allah is mentioned l-lahu Alone waḥdahu shrink with aversion ish'ma-azzat (the) hearts qulūbu (of) those who alladhīna (do) not lā believe yu'minūna in the Hereafter bil-ākhirati and when wa-idhā are mentioned dhukira those alladhīna besides Him min besides Him dūnihi behold idhā They hum rejoice yastabshirūna
Cuando se menciona a Dios como única divinidad, los corazones de los que se niegan a creer en el más allá sienten rechazo, pero cuando se mencionan a otros [ídolos] en lugar de Él, entonces se alegran.
