Then he glanced fanaẓara a glance naẓratan at fī the stars l-nujūmi
Entonces echó una mirada a las estrellas,
And he said faqāla Indeed, I am innī sick saqīmun
y exclamó: “Estoy enfermo”.
So they turned away fatawallaw from him ʿanhu departing mud'birīna
Entonces le abandonaron dándole la espalda.
Then he turned farāgha to ilā their gods ālihatihim and said faqāla Do not alā you eat takulūna
What (is) mā for you lakum not lā you speak tanṭiqūna
¿Por qué no pronunciáis palabra?”
Then he turned farāgha upon them ʿalayhim striking ḍarban with the right hand bil-yamīni
Entonces los destrozó con todas sus fuerzas.
Then they advanced fa-aqbalū towards him ilayhi hastening yaziffūna
He said qāla Do you worship ataʿbudūna what mā you carve tanḥitūna
While Allah wal-lahu created you khalaqakum and what wamā you make taʿmalūna
They said qālū Build ib'nū for him lahu a structure bun'yānan and throw him fa-alqūhu into fī the blazing Fire l-jaḥīmi
And they intended fa-arādū for him bihi a plot kaydan but We made them fajaʿalnāhumu the lowest l-asfalīna
