وَمَا And not wamā is kāna for a soul linafsin that an he dies tamūta except illā by (the) permission bi-idh'ni (of) Allah l-lahi (at a) decree kitāban determined mu-ajjalan And whoever waman desires yurid reward thawāba (of) the world l-dun'yā We will give him nu'tihi thereof min'hā and whoever waman desires yurid reward thawāba (of) the Hereafter l-ākhirati We will give him nu'tihi thereof min'hā And We will reward wasanajzī the grateful ones l-shākirīna
Ningún ser puede morir excepto por el designio de Dios, que se encuentra escrito con anterioridad. A quien desee el provecho de esta vida mundanal, le concederé parte de ello; pero quien quiera la recompensa de la otra vida, se la otorgaré. Así recompensaré a los agradecidos.
