يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe yāayyuhā O you who believe alladhīna O you who believe āmanū Let ask your permission liyastadhinkumu those whom alladhīna possess malakat your right hands aymānukum and those who wa-alladhīna (have) not lam reached yablughū puberty l-ḥuluma among you minkum (at) three thalātha times marrātin before min before qabli (the) prayer ṣalati (of) dawn l-fajri and when waḥīna you put aside taḍaʿūna your garments thiyābakum at mina noon l-ẓahīrati and after wamin and after baʿdi (the) prayer ṣalati (of) night l-ʿishāi (These) three thalāthu (are) times of privacy ʿawrātin for you lakum Not laysa on you ʿalaykum and not walā on them ʿalayhim any blame junāḥun after that baʿdahunna (as) moving about ṭawwāfūna among you ʿalaykum some of you baʿḍukum among ʿalā others baʿḍin Thus kadhālika Allah makes clear yubayyinu Allah makes clear l-lahu for you lakumu the Verses l-āyāti and Allah wal-lahu (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun All-Wise ḥakīmun
¡Oh, creyentes! Que vuestros sirvientes y vuestros hijos que todavía no han alcanzado la pubertad, os pidan permiso [para ingresar en vuestras alcobas] antes de la oración del alba, en la siesta cuando os quitáis la ropa [para descansar], y después de la oración de la noche, pues éstos son tres momentos en los que vuestra desnudez podría quedar al descubierto. Fuera de ello, pueden entrar sin pedir permiso, porque se frecuentan unos a otros con asiduidad. Así es como Dios os aclara Sus Signos. Dios es Conocedor, Sabio.
وَإِذَا And when wa-idhā reach balagha the children l-aṭfālu among you minkumu the puberty l-ḥuluma then let them ask permission falyastadhinū as kamā asked permission is'tadhana those who alladhīna (were) before them min (were) before them qablihim Thus kadhālika Allah makes clear yubayyinu Allah makes clear l-lahu for you lakum His Verses āyātihi And Allah wal-lahu (is) All-Knower ʿalīmun All-Wise ḥakīmun
Cuando vuestros hijos alcancen la pubertad deberán pedir permiso en todo momento, como lo hacen los adultos. Así es como Dios os aclara Sus signos. Dios es Conocedor, Sabio.
وَٱلْقَوَٰعِدُ And postmenopausal wal-qawāʿidu among mina the women l-nisāi who allātī (do) not lā have desire yarjūna (for) marriage nikāḥan then not is falaysa on them ʿalayhinna any blame junāḥun that an they put aside yaḍaʿna their (outer) garments thiyābahunna not ghayra displaying mutabarrijātin their adornment bizīnatin And that wa-an they modestly refrain yastaʿfif'na (is) better khayrun for them lahunna And Allah wal-lahu (is) All-Hearer samīʿun All-Knower ʿalīmun
Las mujeres que hayan llegado a la menopausia y ya no tengan deseo sexual, pueden aligerar sus vestimentas, siempre que no sea para exhibirse y provocar. Pero si se abstienen por recato es mejor para ellas. Dios todo lo oye, todo lo sabe.
