وَإِذْ And when wa-idh We saved you najjaynākum from min (the) people āli (of) Firaun fir'ʿawna (who were) afflicting you (with) yasūmūnakum horrible sūa torment l-ʿadhābi slaughtering yudhabbiḥūna your sons abnāakum and letting live wayastaḥyūna your women nisāakum And in wafī that dhālikum (was) a trial balāon from min your Lord rabbikum great ʿaẓīmun
Y [recordad] cuando salvé a vuestros antepasados de las huestes del Faraón, que os sometían a crueles castigos; degollaban a vuestros hijos varones [recién nacidos] y dejaban con vida a vuestras hijas mujeres [para sojuzgarlas]. Esto era una prueba difícil de vuestro Señor.
وَإِذْ And when wa-idh We parted faraqnā for you bikumu the sea l-baḥra then We saved you fa-anjaynākum and We drowned wa-aghraqnā (the) people āla (of) Firaun fir'ʿawna while you wa-antum (were) looking tanẓurūna
Y [recordad] cuando dividí el mar y os salvé, ahogando a los seguidores del Faraón delante de vuestros propios ojos.
