أَمْ Or am were you kuntum witnesses shuhadāa when idh came to ḥaḍara Yaqub yaʿqūba [the] death l-mawtu when idh he said qāla to his sons libanīhi What mā will you worship taʿbudūna from min after me baʿdī They said qālū We will worship naʿbudu your God ilāhaka and (the) God wa-ilāha (of) your forefathers ābāika Ibrahim ib'rāhīma and Ishmael wa-is'māʿīla and Isaac wa-is'ḥāqa God ilāhan One wāḥidan And we wanaḥnu to Him lahu (are) submissive mus'limūna
¿Acaso sabéis qué le preguntó Jacob a sus hijos cuando le llegó la muerte?: “¿Qué adoraréis después de mí [muerte]?” Dijeron: “Adoraremos lo que adorabais tú y tus ancestros, Abraham, Ismael e Isaac: la Única divinidad, y a Él entregamos nuestra voluntad”.
